I needed replacement parts that were difficult to find. I'm not very handy either so I needed the exact parts to make the project simple. Gordon had the exact items I required at a reasonable price. The communication was excellent and delivery was quick. I got exactly what I needed and am happy overall. I would think of them first in the future when needed.
It was good, buy only thing would be nice is if tracking number was emailed when part was shipped. I am glad you had it and could send to me. Part was delivered when I needed it
The website states items will ship the next day. The website states items as in stock. Then it turns out items are out of stock. Then I receive an email that it will take up to 8 business days for an item to be shipped. When I sent emails with my concerns there was no response. Completely unacceptable.
Ordered electric panel on 8/5 that was said to be in stock and ship in 1-5 days. Recieved email 8/5 stating order was processed and it would ship on 8/13. Called to see why it was going to take so long and was told it isn't in stock and they don't know when they will have it.
Naturally I asked to cancel and was told they would and send me a confirmation email. Still waiting on that as well.

My products came in a reasonable amount of time and in great shape. If you call the store a human being will pick up the phone and that is also GREAT.
Stay clear of this company. Ordered a part on 10 June with no indication that it was out of stock. Estimated ship date was 16 June. Nothing happened by then so I emailed. They stated that part would not arrive at their warehouse until 27 Jun, meaning it was never in stock. I emailed again on 30 June only to be told that part would not arrive to them till 28 Jul. I cancelled order. But BTW, they collected the money on the day the order was placed. They are not honest about their stock status. If they don't have the part on hand, then they should say so... not take folks' money and then sit on it. Terrible company!
Great job on fulfilling the order. The order was accurate, and correct. In this day and age that is getting extremely rare.

Terrible, called before ordering to make sure item was in stock, sales dept assured me it was and would have in 5 days. After 3 days and it still had not shipped called to cancel. Theu kept telling me they could get a hold of there distributor to cancel. What a joke. Well it took over a week just to get it canceled and I still have not received my money back yet. Do yourself a favor and stay away. They have 5 star reviews but they are all anonymous which leads me to believe it is staff writing them because there is no way this company is competent of doing anything let alone supplying what you need.
There is a 25% restocking charge that you won't find out about unless they send you the wrong item. Just be sure you know what your ordering.
I ordered a Generac Product listed on the Gordon Electric Supply website that said would be shipped within a week. After two weeks I contacted Gordon Electric because the product hadn't shipped. Customer Support Brad said in two weeks. Two weeks came and went, no word from Gordon so I contacted them again. Brad said two months. Two months came and went, no product and no word from Gordon. Contacted them again, Brad said two months. I requested that my order be cancelled and my money returned. One month later, still no refund and still no delivery of product. They are not a company that can be trusted.
I placed an order for recepts and switches for my new home and according to the website, they were in stock. After several emails and calls, it was revealed that only a small part of the order was available at which point I asked that the backordered materials be canceled as they would not arrive in time to meet my move in date. I have made several attempts since trying to cancel the order, but pieces continue to trickle in. They will not accept the returns as they claim it is all special order. I now have $600 in decora recepts and switches spare.
I purchased a product online. They missed their shipping date by plenty. Then kept blaming the manufacture. Finally the item arrived late and damaged. Gordon said for me to work it out with the shipper. And left me without product and without money. They are zero zero zero zero in my opinion.
They sent wrong item. I was charged for return shipping which they will not reimburse and I am still waiting for credit to be issued for the item(over 3 weeks). Terrible customer service. I would never do business with them.

I had ordered a product on 8/24/21 and selected 2 day shipping so I would receive the product in time for an upcoming job the following week. The 2 day shipping cost more than the product itself. On 8/30/21 I still had not received the product, so I inquired by emailing customer service, to which their response was "My apologies but the Blue 2 day shipping only goes into effect once the product is available."
On 9/6/21, I STILL had not received the product (which was well passed the date I needed it for), to which I emailed customer service again and respectfully requested a credit for the difference in shipping cost between standard and the 2 day shipping. I still agreed to pay standard shipping. I finally received the product on 9/10/21,18 days after placing the order with 2 day shipping.
I ended up having to find an alternative solution since I did not have this product in time for the job that I needed it for. Furthermore there was never any clear indication on their website or the order confirmation that this product was not in stock nor when selecting the shipping options that the product was dependent on them receiving a product from their manufacturer.
I did not receive any nor would they honor any credit for the difference in shipping cost between standard and the 2 day shipping since I did not receive it in the timeframe indicated.
After over a month of not receiving my order or shipping info I contacted Gordon and they simply said I won't be getting my order before August. No apology, no offer for a discount, no suggestions of any sort. I asked them when they notified me of the delay and they blamed the manufacturer for not giving any eta on stock, while not addressing why I wasn't notified. At this point they have had my money for over a month and have provided absolutely no service. Nothing listed on the purchase page suggested that they do not have the item in stock. I'm cancelling my order.
I'm now over a month behind on my project.
I have placed two orders with this company just this year and both times they let me down. The first item was placed in February 2021. A week went by and I never received shipping conformation. After calling and trying to figure out where my order was, it was on black order till April. This information needs to be addressed right as the order is placed. The next item I ordered was on 5/5/21. This time I did get an acknowledgement saying ship date would be 5/13/21. Having done business with them in the past knowing their history, I called this morning to make sure my item was gonna be shipped on time and just to find out that item is back ordered weeks out, they couldn't give me a for sure date so once again I had to cancel the order. YOU LOST MY BUSINESS.
I created a Yelp account just to write this review, and I just wanted to reiterate what I wrote on there.
Ordered 2 outlets on April 3rd and was told the item ships the next day, or within 5-7 days. April 5th, I receive an invoice that gives me a shipping date of April 14th. April 18th, I receive an email asking me to confirm that I received the delivery, so I email support saying that I have NOT received a delivery. The following day they respond and I'm given a new estimated shipping date of April 24th. It's May 1st and I'm no longer getting any response from customer support, and I have no idea what is going on with my order.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE if you have any intention of using the item within the next 2 months. Even then, that's only to give you enough time to give up on Gordon Electric and order from anywhere else instead.
I call into sales as I needed to verify you had the exact part to match the picture as Ive already ordered this part but received the newer upgrade kit which did not line up and I had to return them, your sales person was courteous and helpful.
Answer: They offer refunds but will scam you of your time -- they put literally every electrical part to ever exist on their website and sell it to you... then they try and order it from the manufacturer. They sell you items that they don't have.
