My wife and I could not be happier with the puppy we got from Jan. We acquired him at the age of 4 months and he was already trained for pee pads, sitting and shaking hands! He meshed with the shih tzu we already had at home in minutes and now they are inseparable. He is VERY smart also. All papers were included and the price paid was more than reasonable. My wife and I would highly recommend anyone seeking a shih tzu to consider Jan!
They do not let you take the service fee off. I even called and they told me it would be on the next page after entering in the card info. However I was then charged and never saw the option for "Friends and Family" at 0 cost. Now they are not responding.

Not even 6 months old and learning to use the puppy pads already. 95% of the time...
He is starting to bark in enjoyment and also for alert if a stranger is at the door...he amazes me every day!
Everyone at my company loves him and he reciprocates with licking and twirling!
Purchasing an expensive pup is should be streamline.
Their site has error messages when I try to connect with breeder after initial intro email.
Going on all week and no response to emails.

Like others have noted, I've had issues with the fees. If you use credit card (which most people will, protection-wise), you're charged a 3% processing fee. However, this is against state law where I am (Massachusetts), where the law states that no seller in any sales transaction may impose a surcharge for someone electing to pay via card instead of ACH/etc.
Good Dog is a necessary resource, a result of people cheating other people. Rock Springs Pugs, owned by Michael Booker, is a very reliable, honest, responsible breeder. Michael has a great personality, loves his dogs, more importantly, he is knows his breed lines. Michael follows his puppies to insure that all is well with them. He wants you to stay in touch, keeping him informed. He has DNA research to ensure that they are healthy.
I have confidence in Michael's breeding operation. Early March we purchased a male puppy from Michael for our son. A week later, we drove 18 hours back to Alabama and got a second one for ourselves. Da-ha, I knew when we got the first one...

I'm a fairly new member of GoodDog.com but from what I can tell they are really here for the breeders and buyers. From start to finish! They give discounts on our health testing up to $100. Per year, have great attorneys to help negotiate puppies going to new homes with legal contracts and make the whole process so much simpler to deal with. I breed for myself so, having homes already lined up for the one or two babies that need a loving forever lap this place helps me have them in place and waiting when the time comes. Waldo German Shepherds in Allen NB, are excellent breeders. Small operation, and they produce some fantastic, quality dogs. I received our Onyx two years ago. She is wonderful. Missa and Bob Waldo take excellent care of the puppies and do a lot of testing with them. They take a lot of time to correctly match the puppy with the potential owner. I highly recommend them.
Recently Copper Top Aussies in Florida allowed us to adopt one of their beautiful Aussie pups. We found the breeder very accommodating to our schedule, and very helpful in all matters. All of her adult dogs, and the puppies were well cared for, friendly, and healthy looking. That was important to us.
When we need to adopt another Aussie, we will be certain to contact Maggie again.
I'm grateful to find someone who is as passionate about having a great hunting companion as I am because it has been over 20 years that I lost my black lab and brother who was an avid hunter and angler.

This app is a scam. They offer buyers protection and then don't honor it. I paid a $500 deposit, a $60 plane ticket, a $100 pet in cabin, a $76 dollar vet appointment because the breeder told me the day before she was too busy to get the puppy her 2nd shot, $75 to Uber for a ride to airport, $50 for crate to fly puppy home, plus toys and food for puppy. One hour before I had to leave for airport the breeder messaged me to tell me the puppy got bit by a snake. I have not been refunded any of my money. Please don't use this site!

I love dogs! But sometimes working with breeders can be, well-very impersonal. Maybe I just got lucky, but finding the right breeder was easy and has been the best experience ever. Pick your breeder, pick your puppy, and start communicating. Brew House Puppies answered every question I asked, sent my pictures, and chatted about pups in general. They fell like old friends.
The process is so simple here. Pick your puppy, pay the down payment, and that baby is yours. So fun. Get messages back and forth on the same web pages, arrange for pick up and watch your puppy grow. Pay right on the we site. Yes, you pay a little extra, but you are going to get your puppy and not get ripped off.
Good dog is a great way to find the perfect puppy. Even my vet used good dog to get her new golden retriever puppy, she and I like the third party involvement. I was worried about scammers but with this site it eases your mind and you know you have a healthy puppy and a awesome breeder
My boyfriend and I just got an adorable Cavalier from Rolling Meadows and we couldn't be happier. She's healthy, happy, and everything I hoped for in a puppy. Jan was pleasant and easy to work with. Great experience!
I joined as a breeder. Was fine for awhile until a competitor complained, trying to get me kicked off of the site, they messaged me asking for proof of health testing, inspections. Pictures. I sent everything they asked for but still deleted my account, they do not check out complaints good enough before they just delete everything you have done

I can't believe that good dog would even say the have trusted and has protector stories. They allow breeders to rip off the people who are purchasing dogs from them. The buyers are not protected. They allowed a breeder to scam me.

She's willing to work with you, meet you and help you pick out puppy supplies. What else can I say. I purchased a Pom pup, she met me and helped me shop for the perfect pup harness.
