This is a platform that takes people's hard earned money and won't release it to the original organizers. Instead of automatically refunding the millions of dollars to the donors they are giving the money to another organization that against the donors wishes. Please don't waste your time and energy with this company because they will screw you in the end. Horrible experience. Please use another crowd funding platform.

Eyes is the victim then their service is allowed to be used. Very Very inconsistent…. In some cases Convicted Felons get to have an account and i other case a True victim is denied service this happens all the time. Would Never Ever use such a biased service…. Would never ever donate a penny through this service. So many other more honest, transparent and consistent services out their that do exactly the the same thing. In recent cases you have the Accused to be allowed an account but not the victim. And in most cases if their are politics involved your company picks a view point/side and that person is allowed service while the other is not…
I had used GoFundMe in the past, I am a spinal patient, and had forgotten the phone number that had been used to set up the first account when I was initially injured as a friend needed to help me with that back then. Customer support quickly and easily got me past that hurdle and allowed me to set up the withdrawals on my account so I could be back on track with receiving funds donated.
It's terrible that we have to rely on an outside source like this for funding for our medical needs, but it's good to know that there's a team of professional people that are there to help us when we need it.

This seems to be the best way to collect money for a cause when needed however, I didn't know that a tip would be added to my donation by GoFundMe. I did question the tipping process because the person donating doesn't know about it until they receive a receipt. Customer Service was quick to respond to my email and refunded the tip amount but I believe it would be better to market this part of donating so the customer would have a choice.
I accidentally donated twice to a campaign and customer service responded to my email almost immediately. The only thing that bothered me was that it took 3-5 business days to refund my money for a transaction that I placed only hours before, but patience is a virtue! Thanks again!
The UI could be better on the site, but whenever I ran into a problem and emailed Customer Service, I got an answer--a helpful answer--within half an hour and often less. A real, live person. Not a chatbot or having to ask my question to "The Community" as with other sites.
It was around 7 am Eastern time and I think the Customer Service team is in Cali, they responded which would make it 4 am. I was pretty shocked that Alessandra helped me decide what category, which turned out to be "Other" to post. I am in the process of writing and it will be coming soon. Thanks for great service!
I am just an old guy with a computer and I don't understand a lot of the technical stuff so I had problems understanding how to fill out applications and when I asked for customer support they replied to my enquiry quickly and were very understanding. All my follow up questions were answered promptly and all my problems have been resolved.
I had to contact support two times during my campaign. I've been a Secret Shopper for 25 years and 90% of the jobs I do, the customer service is below expectations. The support I received from Go Fund Me, was fast and far above any service I've received in the hundreds of secret shops I've done.

I tried raising money for an important cause as well more then once and never had any attention with it at all, i think the whole thing is a scam and is useless and there is never anyone to help you when you have a question
They do not represent Freedom. They are a far left leaning organization that tried to steal money from an honest cause. They will be left in the ash heap of history along with Trudeau. I support Freedom for all, and they do not.
I started a Go Fund Me campaign for some friends who lost their entire business and livelyhood to arson. Not understanding the difference it made as to which currency the campaign was "filed" under, I ended up having to start a new campaign with a different currency in order for my friends to collect. I had an entire team at Go Fund Me assisting me throughout the transition from one campaign to another, literally around the clock! I have never come across this level of customer service. It truly was/is exemplary and many businesses could learn a lot from the Go Fund Me teams!
The people in the "Customer Happiness Team" are so kind and helpful. The person I dealt with, or who helped me, was Niall. Professional, kind, thoughful... the type of person you can only hope for when you need someone to listen.

I have had the pleasure of donating several times and I admire the people who are so generous in helping our less fortunate brothers and sisters. We live in a world where there is so much hatred and conniving! It's refreshing to see that there are people who care about others.
My attempts to raise the funds needed for a vision enhancing device, has floundered to a crawl. I know this is my first request, to reach my goal of $3,000; has fallen so short from my goals.
I understand how financially most friends and family are, and I do not show dissapointment, that my goals have not been met. All I can say, is thank you, and appreciate your help. May hope and generosity, fill others to help my cause.

I was a bit hesitant at first but when I seen all the reviews and how it actually helped people in times of need and struggles. I had to take my chances. When it comes to education it can be costly and having to pay fees for two high school teens at the same time was a burden to come up with the money. I didn't raise the full goal but was able to pay for them to at least get their laptops and pay a few of the other fees. With gofundme I was able to get the help without having to be embarrassed or ask for loans from people. I recommend this to those with real struggles.
