GoFundMe

I reluctantly started a gofundme account as my husband needed insulin and we couldn't afford it any longer. We needed 1,257 dollars which was our co-pay. Go fund me kept me constantly informed and offered suggestions all the way through our event. We reached our goal thankfully and I filled out the banking information. I then reviewed some of the comments and they were horrible! My experience was smooth and rewarding and I am very pleased that they were able to help. I have seen where they have helped others in need also. I pray that others in need will not hesitate to make a page for them or someone else in need. This was truly a life saver for us! The money collected was deposited within our account in 2 business days. :)

I had many problem for the few months that I had my gofundme. Nobody would ever reply to my emails. A lot of problems arose. They did things without my consent to change my gofundme. Even the people that did reply which was rare, were not helpful. Awful experience. I am still hurt and angry.

The peaceful trucker blockade in Ottawa Canada is being portrayed as something else. GoFundMe has seized the 10 million dollars raised for the truckers to protest vaccine mandates. The following is from Becker News

"Neither the Ottawa Police nor GoFundMe provided any credible information tying 'violent' or 'unlawful' protesters to Freedom Convoy 2022 protesters. Seizing the funds would thereby constitute a fraudulent act.

GoFundMe has a track record of supporting Black Lives Matter, whose organizing spurred violent rioting in cities across the world. In the U.S. alone, Black Lives Matter-fueled riots did an estimated $2 billion in damages, and led to dozens of deaths."

I am unable to login to my account and have had no response from Go Fund Me.
I have tried to reset my password but it brings up error messages and says logon with Facebook although that option is no longer there.
Have tried contacting them via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram with no luck.
Tried emailing, no response.
There customer service is nonexistent. I would not recommend them.
Try elsewhere.

Never trust them you won't get your money back I try to login not working their customer support not helping until the law firm help me get back all my money

I call myself computer challenged. That just means as far as my Go Fund Me page that anything to do with the internet is difficult for me to grasp. Every person that I had contact with from the Happiness team just took in my skills in stride. The way that they just put the steps that I need to take to get my page going was just what I needed. It took a while to really get my page working. But not once did I feel like I was bothering them. They were glad that they could help. Even at 3 AM in the morning. I have to say I was really stressed out when things got confusing. But the assurance from the staff helped me relax. And that sure has helped me feel very good about having a GoFundMe page. I already have my first donation. And I am looking forward to many more. I just want to thank everyone who helped me from the bottom of my heart. Jo Ann Koepke-

Your team stepped up when we needed their help the most. I was so excited we were able to raise so much money for Nellie's 1st semester in college, but then we hit a snag: Nellie was having technical issues with the withdrawal process and I wasn't able to help walk her because she lives in a different state. I reached out to GoFundMe and was very impressed by your team, Juliet, Athena, Mary and Rosa C. Not only were they extremely helpful in getting Nellie the assistance she needed, but they called on each other to help when she was not available. I work in Insurance Claims, so I know the importance of being their for your customers. This was by far the best team Customer Service I have ever seen. I am impressed and also grateful! Thank you all for your help!

Every time I tried to log into my account it says do not accept any more Facebook logins excuse me why should I have to change my password every time it's not a Facebook login I ran out of passwords this is ridiculous Plus on top of that I never get anything this is the poorest experience I've ever had I desperately needed help and no one was willing to help I needed this to save my life and it's too late

I just tried creating a campaign for a very worthy cause. However, after a few days no one donated to the fund. When I tried to donate myself, I had much difficulty. I ultimately decided to end my campaign after just a few days. The staff were really helpful and quick to answer my concerns. Although my campaign was not successful, I would gladly try it again just because I know I will get the help from the people at GoFundMe! Awesome concept... however I think it only works at times when the news is relevant.

Recently I had the pleasure of working with Robyn at GoFundMe. Unfortunately my campaign needed to be disabled before I could obtain all the funding needed, and Robyn came to my rescue! She was kind in walking me through the process and responded in a timely manner when I had questions. I found her directions easy to follow and my situation was handled immediately. It was a pleasure working with the GoFundMe team. Thanks-you for the positive experience.
