In December 2022 I made a donation to a go fund me webpage that was taken down within that week it was posted.

It has been an ongoing headache with my bank because gofundme doesn't have a way to contact them except by email.

They will hold onto your money and collect interest on it. I haven't donated to a gofundme before but know of others that had in which it was for a good cause.

I've gone three times round and round with my bank because they continue to charge me and trying to keep the money on a page that was taken down.

I submitted documents to my personal bank and only for them to reverse it to try to give it back to them.

I will never ever ever make any contributions to such a website like this ever again because it's not going to who it supposed to be going to and when you try to get your money back they take forever to respond back via the email.

Shame on you go fund me for the way that you do business and eventually you'll be shut down because everything you're doing is a scam.

When trying to set up a nonprofit, we were required to set up a PayPal Charity account and working with their customer service team and PayPal's, it was such a cluster it was not worth the time and effort and we never resolved the issue. After that, we will not recommend Gofundme or PayPal and dont feel either is a credible or trustworthy site.

Over $10 million dollars were contributed to Freedom Convoy 2022 and GoFundMe wrongfully decided to not pay out because Trudeau very falsely claimed this was a "terrorist group", labelling hundreds of thousands of supporting Canadians and others as "terrorists". GoFundMe caved to an oppressive government. The good news is that a Christian based, honest group is now receiving and dispersing funds: GiveSendGo.

This has been the worst fundraising experience than I have ever had the most complicated to try and get the funds that you've raised and for a charity they take a percentage of your money which is not right and I recommend nobody ever uses GoFundMe again the worst experience I've ever had in my life I think it needs to be closed down for good

I herd what you people did to the truckers. Stealing 3.5million dollars from them. That money was to feed them, their families, gas, hotels if needed. I WILL NEVER GIVE MONEY THROUGH YOUR SERVICES. Fear you will steal that money too. I will tell everyone I know about what you did to our truckers. Shame on you and may GOD have mercy on your soles when you meet him. Scratch that, there is a door in hell with your name on it. Curious what did the corrupt democrats promise you to steal from our hard working truckers?

Donated fifty dollars to what i thought was a good cause...and go fund me added an additional seven fifty.and did not asy anything about that added amount... never again...

Stealing over 10 million raised for peaceful protests, then only releasing 1 million. Guessing they took a payout from the Canadian liberals. Sad to see dirty backstabbers.

They stole 10 million from truckers in Canada! And won't return their money to donors, said going to send to charities! But won't disclose the charities! Joke! Stay away!

Go Fund Me is great for BLM and Antifa issues - kinda like Kamala Harris bonding arrested felons out so they could destroy more property and injure more people - but let a decent law abiding US citizen get into trouble for protecting his family and property and Go Fund Me just abandons him. Do not use ur money to donate to anything relating to GFM they r thieves takes ur money n doesnt give it to the fundraiser u donate to... use givesendgo they are much more reliable and actually put ur money to the fundraiser u want! Never never using or donating to gofundme ever again. I hope u go bankrupt and close down u liars n theives

Do yourself a favour, find a different platform. They won't give you the money raised if they don't like your cause. Total cancel culture. They deserve to be canceled. Theifs, crooks, con-artists.
