Receiving cut flowers from Columbia in my package bin in a cardboard shipping box was kind of shocking. I had to find a vase and even cut the stems due to the length of them. I expected much nicer delivery from a local florist who you work with.

After reviewing your case, we can see that the roses you recieved were not bad. The guard petals needed to be removed as our claims specialist let you know.
The outer brown petals that showed the picture you sent, are the guard petals of our natural roses.
Please note that roses typically have 3 to 5 guard petals, which are the outer petals that protect the inner petals of the bloom as they unfold. These guard petals may differ in color from the actual color of the rose. For example, white roses may have green or brown guard petals, while red roses have dark red or black borders. These guard petals are often wilted or may have charred/black edges. You can choose to remove them once the flowers start to bloom or leave them on for a more natural garden look.
Also, we can see that you received your order on May 17 and you sent us a message on May 18. We kindly remind you that the flowers you ordered are delivered in a semi-bloomed stage as mentioned on the "PRODUCT INFORMATION" tab on the product page. And since they are natural and fresh-cut flowers, they flowers need time to fully bloom.

Requested a specific delivery date and ordered almost 2 weeks prior. The flowers were delivered a day after requested delivery date. Ordered standard carnations. Received what looked to be mini carnations. Will not be ordering again and will not recommend to others.

We are very sorry about the delay. We shipped your order on time but unfortunately, UPS couldn't deliver the packages on the scheduled date due to a delay at their Louisville facilities. Thank you for understanding this is out of our control. Because there are situations out of our control, our website mentions that we will not refund, or credit orders delivered 1 day after the original delivery date.
At the time of purchase, we recommend scheduling the delivery date 2 or 3 days before any special event to allow flowers to bloom and to manage unexpected courier service delays. Once the items are added to your shopping cart we inform you that Credits or refunds will not be issued if orders are delivered 1 day later than the scheduled date.
