It seems virtually impossible to get off their email list. I have tried emailing them and calling them with no luck. The person I spoke with says I was removed but I am continuing to receive multiple emails a day from them. I question their legitimacy at this point

Mixed up company

I purchased three of the same item, they billed me for three and mistakenly shipped one. I called and pointed out the mistake and they shipped the final two. Then they email me proclaiming they mistakenly sent me extra items. I explained the facts, they acknowledge in an email they understand and apologize it was their mistake. A week later I get an email indicating they have been trying to reach me unsuccessfully (which is absolutely untrue) about the additional items they mistakenly shipped and since they can't get me they are going to charge my card!
Seems like a disorganized customer support department to cross that many wires and not have a record of my correspondence for which they had previously acknowledged.

Terrible customer service
December 12, 2018

I recently purchased two cabinets. The package was missing two long panels for one of the cabinets. Called the company several times but they didn't send out missing items nor refunded. They hung up on me twice, keep transferring and asked to wait. I waited for 8 days and they still asked me to wait. They blamed on me just signed on the delivery sheet without unpacking and checking all the items. There was no manual either. They wasted my time and money. I felt like I was asking for extra pieces for free. They didn't accept their mistake. I ended up ordering another unit because I was running out of time.

Worst customer service ever and very irresponsible.
Shame on them.

This company was a nightmare to deal with as far as customer service. I placed an order with them for fixtures and received no follow up email, I called a week and a half later to find out the status of my order and was told my order was suspended because the item I selected could not ship collect (with my provided UPS account #). I authorized them immediately to charge the difference and ship the order as I needed these items for my stores. Next day, still no invoice, no confirmation so I sent a follow up email to which I received the reply that I would receive this upon shipping. 2 days later, still nothing, called to follow up and after 4 different transfers was told my order had still not been processed and they could process this to ship 3 days later! No offer to upgrade shipping after now 3 weeks of back and forth with their company! I cancelled my order with them and placed with another company I found with better prices! Avoid this scam at all costs!

After almost a month after ordering, my cabinet was delivered - with the wrong bins. For a week I have spoken to Global Industrial associates who have said "we'll get this resolved right away" and "I will email you right away", neither of which happened. On the 7th day I was told the replacement order was just placed and it will ship 8 days from now from the manufacturer. Again, no follow up email which was promised. Global Industrial does not stock anything and just places an order from the manufacturer for you. Had I known the service was this bad I would have gone directly to the manufacturer and paid the extra monies. Avoid Global Industrial. Once they have your money you will just get the run around, bad service, etc. And they do not approve negative reviews for posting on their website which is why it looks like everyone who shops there is happy.

Dishonest Review System

This website does not post most negative reviews of the products being offered. This is why many products seem to have highly favorable reviews on this website but when crossed check with Amazon.com and others, ones sees the divergence. The shipping is also extremely slow. I do not trust this business.

I ordered a double pedestal (with drawers) shop type work bench. They clearly sent the wrong item for one of the two pedestal units. The catalog information was very ambiguous 4 drawer v. s. 5 drawer. But either way one drawer was much larger than the catalog indicated. They want to insist they sent the right item when clearly they did not. I have NEVER experienced this this sort of customer service in my 61 years of life. I won't ever order from them again and you should think twice. GLOBAL IS NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE. There are other much better places to buy from.

UPDATE: My issue has been resolved satisfactorily by Global Industrial. A Global Industrial Supply customer service supervisor saw my email correspondence with the customer service rep's and she stepped in and took over. She was great! She got the facts and had the correct (as advertised) drawer unit delivered to me. She was very professional and pleasant to deal with.

Honestly, no Issues at all

I ordered a Pulsar Lawnmower from Global Industrial on May 10th. It was on a Friday, and I got confirmation for shipping by that same Monday. On the 17th, it was delivered in one, uninjured piece. There was a dent on the house of the lawnmower blade that stopped rotation of the blade that was likely caused by the delivery man placing the lawnmower on its side instead of flat like the box instructed. I hit it with a hammer, put all the pieces together, and it started up literally no problem. Perhaps I'll be singing a different tune in a year, but as far as I can tell the lawnmower is here, and works and sounds like a dream. I did pay 100 dollars in shipping for it to be delivered to my home, which was quite a bit, but this particular lawn mower was sold out literally everywhere else so it was worth the extra hundred to me. Don't know what else to say. When I saw all the other bad reviews I almost cancelled my order, but I'm glad I didn't. I hope you don't see my review and get scammed. I had no interaction with customer service or their quoting system, I simply placed the order online through their website.

Purchased two lockers. Assembled first one no problems. Second one, got all the way to the very last step and the holes did not align for the legs to make the locker stand evenly. Asked for new legs from Customer service to be sent. Was offered $60 to keep the completely unusable product. Asked again for just new legs. Was told no, they would not do that. They continue to assert that I'm just putting it together wrong. There's literally predrilled holes, there is no way to put it together wrong. I have a worthless $300 locker that stands leaning that I can't use. Piece of crap.

The worst experience

They are so arrogant. Also I asked 12 times for return label but they never did. They said it takes 2 business days so I waited, called again, transfer calls multiple times for 58 minutes. Online chat is also a crap. I will never buy anything from them.

Worst Customer Service

The title says it all. They do not care to take care of the customer or do the right thing. They are quick to blame a shipping company when they or the manufacturer make the mistake. Shipment arrived in excellent shape just missing an item. They said they shipped complete call the carrier as they repacked it. It was not repacked and all correctly strapped to the pallet. They just didn't ship the goods and when you question them they just point to others. This product was on order for 3+ months and now were stuck with another long delay. Best to buy from some other company and stock giving Global Industrial any of your money.

Do NOT purchase from this company- It will cause you a bunch of headaches. Also their customer service is obnoxious. Save the aggravation and order your things from someone else! They were supposed to call me to set up a shipment time since it was a residential shipment- they never did. The order arrived when I was not here. They needed to ship another piece and acted like it was another order and charged us $578? Really? It was part of the original order. They said - oh sorry. They are crooks.

I've worked with payment processing and ecommerce platforms for a while. When contacting the company the ID they gave me and that I screenshotted they said was not in their system after they charged my card a few thousand dollars. When asking to chat with the accounting dept they mentioned that they didn't have one. I told them that they could look up the transaction in the payments portal and they said they didn't have access and didn't know how. This is highly unlikely and every company has an accounting dept. When asking to speak to management, I was told they would reach out and no one reached out. I recorded the conversation because it sounded off if anyone wants to hear it. I have since submitted it to the fraud department with the evidence from their site. This is really sad for all customers. They just take their payment, without delivering. Then they said to wait a few days and that the payment should just fall off. Not professional.

Unresponsive, unprofessional & unhelpful

The purchasing experience was a disaster from the beginning. I waited nearly 8 months for half of a $5000 order, only to have the company cancel my order. I asked to return what I did receive because I purchased everything to match. They refused. They wouldn't even issue a partial refund for all of the hassel and mistakes. They did not communicate with me during the delays. I would call regularly for updates. They had zero information and were unhelpful. After 6 months I hired someone to build what I had ordered. I know we have all had to deal with supply issues during the pandemic but it's completely unacceptable to make customers wait months on end with no information. Terrible customer service. I opened the portion of the order that I received (who wouldn't?) and they refused to take it back. How was I to know the balance of my order would never arrive? I will never do business with this company again and I would recommend the same for others.

Very disappointed in the Customer Service and have concerns that the posted price is "bait". When I've expressed concerns over the delay in ship time and asked if they have other product manufacturers of the same item they offer to transfer me to a sales rep... "switch"

Their website figures shipping on returns incorrectly. They don't care about customer service they must outsource their customer service. They keep reading from a script and don't understand or address my concerns. Never do business here if you have to do a return its a nightmare. Paul

Poor

Bought a $5k floor scrubber for my gym, the machine is over priced and always has something wrong with it. Leaks, squeegee pulls to the left, and the machine didn't even come with a brush head. You figure if you paid $5k it would come with the item you need to operate it.
On top of that the customer service is trash. Takes weeks for anyone to get back to you, if at all. I've sent in several emails to customer support and made phone calls - only to be told that someone will contact me.
Don't waste your money.

Terrible customer service

I own a cleaning company and order majority of my supplies from this site and at first I was extremely happy with the price and service but my 3rd time doing a ordering run It was messed up and to try and fix this issue was extremely difficult. The customer service was absolutely the worst I have ever experienced and I honestly don't think they care at all about making customers happy. The person was rude, short and not at all sympathetic or apologetic, honestly just made me feel extremely unimportant which is a shame because I spend a LOT of money on this site. For future customers this site can be great but if something goes wrong which is a guarantee with any site, good luck.

Can't get parts

I have the floor scrubber that works ok but the pump burned out and I can't get a replacement.
Customer service was to call me back with a replacement option but they never called.
I have a 1,200.00 scrubber that is completely useless and I have to try to fix it myself.

I ordered an item. I reached out to return it and Global Industries sent me a shipping label. Turns out they had me billed for $1100. 56. They keep telling me they will get it taken care of but I kero getting past due bills from the freight company. They are awful!
