This is hands down the most unprofessional, outdated, incapable housing service I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My first complaint is that GHC reached out to me with the guise that they were affiliated with the cable show my company was attending. After discussing our hotel needs, GHC said they could accommodate me, sent me a poorly drawn up housing form, and then I didn't hear from them. 2 weeks later, after the ACTUAL cable show affiliate contacted me, I contacted GHC, only to find out that the original reservations I made could not be accommodated. After reading the many poor reviews, I decided to cancel with GHC for the specific reason that they promised to accommodated me at one place, were unable to, and did not call me to inform me, and also because of their dishonesty, giving the impression of being affiliated with something they're not. Now they are trying to charge me a total of $4219. 38 between the deposit and 25% cancellation fee. I have already sent a dispute letter from my lawyer and evidence of their failure to comply to the credit card company. They called me again today, stating that my status was pending and that it had not been canceled. I told "ADAM GREEN" that I had made it perfectly clear almost a month ago that I would be canceling, would not be paying any charges, and that they would not be getting our business. After not relenting, I hung up on Adam. Shortly after, I received an email from Adam stating that I'd be charged the 25% cancellation fee, and also that my hanging up on him was "unprofessional". HAH!
Thank you for the review but please note that everything we commit our selves to is on the agreement signed. We have to protect our effort for providing competitive rate. We can not provide service and book the entire reservation on your behalf and you cancel the reservation free of charge since we already pay fees for cancellation. If anyone says you can cancel without fees pleas let us know who so we can investigate ASAP. Other wise the comment mentioned on no cancellation fee 15 prior to check in date is correct as far as you not cancelling the entire reservation but modifying to a shorter term as explained in the agreement signed. Please let us know if we can be of any help top make up for the confusion.

Every time they talk to you they say: "You can make changes or cancel the rooms 15 days prior to your check in date ". "Will I get my deposit back?", "Of course".
Bul$#*! They don't pay it back! Now it means "This amount can be re-used ONLY but will NOT be refunded to the card holder". Never ever again will we work dishonest company like this!
REALLY Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!
Ps So for 2 months they are ignoring our request for reservation, and so not answer our e-mails or phone calls but they took the time to make a comment to our review in 2 min defending themselfs.
DEAR globalhousingcorp WHOEVER YOU PEOPLE ARE, PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH US THE PROPER WAY (dont just make ridiculous comments on our reviews), MODIFY OUR RESERVATION ACCORDING TO OUR ORIGINAL REQUEST, INVOICE US AT THE PRICES WE AGREED ON AND LETs CLOSE THIS CASE.

Dear customer, please note that we never say that you can get the deposit back. In this travel industry you have to pay a cancellation fee while we do not charge any cancellation fee we just keep the deposit for your next use to insure you will at least use us again, it is a lot easier to say there is a cancellation fee and keep it and that's it. But we don't like to collect a cancellation fee we rather have you use it for next booking.
They were very helpful, they get all my changes done quickly and accurately
