I won a bid at Global auto auction for a car in October 2024 and was sent an invoice for $******* which I paid. However, I never received the car I paid for. Eventually, a refund was issued but the check bounced! I emailed Jerry but no response.

STOP! Do not proceed with this company. DO NOT WIRE THEM A SINGLE CENT! You will lose your money. I may be looking into legal action against GAA (if any past victims of GAA sees this review please contact me at *******@yahoo.com) i will be trying to communicate with you aswell.

This company was a reputable company at some point. I was recommended to them by a buddy that bought his car with them maybe a year ago.

I deposited 1200 (600+600) into my account and made a bid on an atv. A short while later i get a call from jerry the "manager" (seems to be a one man show) asking my max bid and telling me to sign papers for the bike and WIRE him the money. This of course sounded extremely scammy but i called my buddy whom had previously purchased a vehicle and received it, he said it was ok. So i proceeded.

Everything quiet and then i get a call from jerry, theres somthing wrong with my bike. It is not running and was listed as running. He also states theres damage to the bike.
I ask him to send me pictures or a video (the video on crashedtoys.com shows no damage and is listed as running) he asks me if i want to look for another or get a refund. I text him (please see pics) to send the bike anyways (its an auction and thats what an auction is, you never know what youre going to get).
He basically says no and i will be getting a tracking info for my refund check soon. I call the auction house that sold the bike and explain to them the situation, they verify that that bike was never sold to GAA nor a Jerry. Same afternoon i get a fedex notification that a package from global auto is coming. When i receive it, its a check for about 2800 of the 4100 i wired and has a paper that says i early terminated ( even though i accepted my bike).

It is what it is ill take the hit, check is deposited. The very next day the check BOUNCED! Insufficient funds. Now jerry doesnt answer my calls or texts. 4200 wont make or break me but the principal of this whole ordeal will. Now i have to waste my time with authorities, auction houses, and hopefully short of a visit to GAA in person.

DO NOT SEND JERRY A DIME OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!

On July 22nd I won a bid on a Toyota Tacoma 2023 for a total of $19,500 and 3 days later I got a call from a guy called Jerry Senior Manager of the scam company, telling me that truck is lemon truck and it was fix and put in back to sale and he send pictures of the condition of that truck and they can't give it to me because is not a good truck, so he asked me if want a refund and I said yes, because I got scared, and I asked him if I getting all my money back and he said yes, 1 month later a portion of refund with a later saying, because I broke the contract they are gonna keep 30% of my money. Is almost 4 months of that and they stop answering my calls and texts messages. Stay away from them.

Global Auto Auctions are thieves
May 29, 2024

As many of others have said, these folks are just out to scam your money. Communications are great right up to the moment they have your money. They admitted that a truck that I bought was misrepresented so at their suggestion, I backed out of the deal. They withheld a third of the price of this truck on some BS clause that I defaulted on the deal. Everything they stated about this truck were completely untrue and/or an outright lie. There is a special place in hades reserved for these folks. Avoid GAA at all cost.

This company is a total fraud. I dealt with someone named Jerry who claimed to be a manager. After paying everything, I never received the vehicle I supposedly won. I spent months trying to get my money back, even involving my bank. Eventually, they sent me a refund check—but it BOUNCED. They also never answered my calls. I tried calling over and over again with no response. But when I used a friend's phone, they picked up right away—clearly dodging me on purpose. That's a huge red flag. This is not a legitimate business. They are shady, deceptive, and clearly running a scam. I'm warning everyone: do NOT trust them or send them any money. If you've also been scammed by Global Auto Auctions and are interested in pursuing legal action, I'm looking to form a group to potentially sue them. There's strength in numbers—let's hold them accountable.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We truly regret that your experience has been frustrating, and we would like to address the situation in detail.

Regarding the refund process, we did issue a refund check as part of our efforts to resolve the matter. However, after you initiated a wire retraction, we had to place a stop payment on the check to ensure there were no duplicate transactions. Additionally, we filed a dispute with the bank, which resulted in the corporate accounts being locked. This action unfortunately breached the terms of the agreement. Despite our attempts to resolve this by offering a replacement vehicle, we understand that you have declined this option, and as such, you remain responsible for any associated fees due to the contract breach.

In order to move forward and resolve this promptly, we are prepared to issue another refund check to you. If you are willing to sign the settlement agreement, we will send the new check via FedEx immediately.

Please let us know how you would like to proceed, and we will work diligently to finalize this matter. We are committed to resolving this situation to your satisfaction and appreciate your cooperation.

I had the pleasure of purchasing a 2014 Harley-Davidson from Global Auto Auctions, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From start to finish, the process was smooth and efficient. The staff at Global Auto Auctions were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, guiding me through every step of the purchase with professionalism and a genuine enthusiasm for motorcycles.

Globalautoauctions.com will RIP you off.
August 27, 2024
Updated review

GlobalAutoAuctions.com is a fraudulent company, and I feel compelled to share my experience to caution others against doing business with them.On April 16,2024, I made a $1,000 deposit to participate in bidding for a 2005 Ford F150 4x4, submitting a bid of $2,750.Shortly after placing my bid, I received a call from a representative at GlobalAutoAuctions.com. They suggested that if I increased my offer, they might be able to persuade the insurance company to accept it. After negotiations, we agreed on a total of $4,000 for the vehicle, plus an additional $200-$300 for shipping.I agreed to these terms and wired $3,000 on April 17,2024. The company assured me that the paperwork would be finalized, and the delivery of the truck arranged by the end of the week. When I called for an update on Friday, I was informed that there was an issue—a lien on the vehicle that needed to be resolved, which would cause a delay. At the end of the following week, I contacted them again and was told that the delay had also prevented their driver from picking up the truck. They asked for more time to arrange transportation. The following week, I reached out once more and was told that, after inspection, the vehicle was not as described in the listing. The truck, which had been advertised as having a clean title and being in running condition, was found to have deployed airbags and other undisclosed issues. They offered me the option to either accept the vehicle in its current condition or receive a refund. Given the situation, I requested a refund, as I urgently needed a vehicle and this process had already been a significant inconvenience.Despite numerous calls and texts inquiring about the status of my refund, I was repeatedly told that it was on the way and would be sent overnight. On May 28,2024, I finally received a cashier's check for only $1,800—far less than the $4,000 I had paid.Accompanying the check was a contract outlining an "Early Termination Fee."Since then, my attempts to contact the company have been futile, with calls going directly to voicemail—a tactic they seem to use to avoid responsibility. They are fully aware that I am entitled to a full refund but are relying on a lengthy and complex online contract to justify withholding my funds.I strongly advise against doing business with GlobalAutoAuctions.com to avoid falling victim to their deceptive practices as I did.

They only wrote on this letter that the refunded my $1000.00 to my credit card. They never did. This is another tactic they use ripping you off. This company sucks BIG TIME

Globalautoauctions.com This Company is a SCAM BUYER BEWARE

Previous review

Check the Better Business Bureau.
This company uses false advertising with their vehicle listings.
Once you deposit funds with them, they got you. If you make a purchase and send them your money your nightmare will begin.
The phone numbers, and emails will work for a short time.
This is what you can expect. They will tell you they need time to get the paperwork together. You will wait a week and they will have an excuse why they need more time...this will go on for a couple weeks more. At some point they will offer you a refund. When you are thoroughly frustrated you will say ok I want my refund. Next they will promise to get your check in the mail. Weeks will go by and you won't receive the money. At the sametime you will never be able to get anyone to answer your calls or messages. When you do receive your refund, you will see that it's not a full refund the amount sent will be way less then what you have given them. There will be a letter with that check that is going to be the contract you signed with your electronic signature. On that contract, it will be highlighted that due to early termination of the contract they get to keep the amount that you are now short.
In my own case, they stated that my initial deposit by debit card was already refunded to my card and the check was minus the termination fee. Out of my $4000.00 given to them I received a total of $1800.00 refund. They rinse and repeat this process over and over to good people like you and me. This is the GOD honest truth and you have been warned. Do not send them your hard earned money.
It's quite a scam they got figured out here.

Buyer Beware

GAA.COM is a total SCAM. I am going to give a detailed breakdown of my experience with them.
1) April 16,2024, I made a $1000.00 deposit so I could bid on a 2005 Ford F150 4x4 (I placed a bid for $2750.00)
2) Shortly after my bid, I get a call from GAA.com They say, if I will come up will a little more cash they will see if the insurance company will except my offer. After negotiating they said, $4000.00 out the door plus $200.00 to $300.00 shipping.
3) I agree, and I wire them $3000.00 April 17,2024 They tell me to give them to the end of the week to get the paperwork together and line up the delivery of the truck.
4) I call them on Friday and ask for an update as to when I can expect delivery of the truck. They tell me there is a little problem there is a lien on the truck and they will need more time to clear the paperwork.
5) I call at the end of the week and ask again when can I expect delivery? They say, because of the lien delay their driver wasn't able to pick up the vehicle. Give them more time to arrange another driver.
6) I call back the following week and they tell me that they sent their vehicle inspector over and upon inspection it wasn't as described in the advertisement. The vehicle was listed as clean title, starts and runs. This vehicle had the airbags deployed and there was more things wrong then listed.
7) They asked me, if I wanted to take it like that or would I like a refund. I told them I would just like a refund, as I really needed a vehicle and I need to purchase something else since this whole thing has been a waste of time.
8) After numerous calls and texts asking where my refund is, they kept saying its coming it will be over nighted to me.
9) Today is May 28,2024 and I receive a cashier's check for $1800.00 out of the total $4000.00 I gave them.
10) With the cashier's check for $1800.00 is the contract stating Early Termination Fee.
I have tried calling and texting and guess what? My calls go directly to leave a message. This is a common tactic of this company. They know I was suppose to get a full refund, But they will use that lengthy online contract to justify ripping you off.
I hope you don't fall for the same scam as I did. After they read my complaint, they will cut and paste the same response they have given other people they ripped off. They will refer to the contract and blow smoke up your butt. Bottom line they will take your money and more than likely any positive review is one they have written or had an associate write for them...

For now I try to find a solution:, I made BBB interven, if does not work then second Lawsuit.
Lately I got an intemidation text message saying the won't refund me. Because I bombard their call center with a bunch phone call and they will charge me $10 for each call of course another lies from them.

Let me tell you about my experience with Global Auto Auctions. At first I was hesitant to purchase a vehicle online especially a salvage vehicle with extensive damage. I took my time I did my homework and I spoke to the representatives numerous times. I had to place bids on over 20 vehicles before I was actually able to buy one. It took the transporter about a week to get the vehicle to me and I received the title in about two to three weeks after my purchase. I purchased a 2019 BMW M4 with some fire damage, it had some scratches which I did not notice but the vehicle overall was a steal for the price I paid for it. I am writing this review to let everyone know take your time with searching for a vehicle, do your home work on parts, and repairs. Global Auto Auctions just provides a service and gives you access to dealer only and insurance company auctions. They are good to work with, I see a few reviews of customers being upset but that is part of this industry. I have read some of the reviews of their competitors and it seems like a systematic industry problem. Global Auto Auctions was very fair with me and I will use their services again.

1.they'll ask you your max bid. Your vehicle will close for much less; they will pocket the extra of your max bid, and by some miracle, you will end up paying your absolute max bid price for your car... (usually when a salvage auction ends, the seller will negotiate a final price with YOU (via your broker), and your broker calls you to ASK for YOUR PERMISSION to come up in price. Not with G.A.A.

2.they salvaged out my clean-titled vehicle on their paperwork, and then did not correct it. They cost me hours of government inspection appointments to rebuild A CLEAN-TITLED CAR, not to mention the fact that I lost about 20% value on my vehicle. They ignored my calls. I don't fault a business for an error, but if you're not willing to take responsibility and CLEAN UP YOUR ERROR, that is despicable.

So in sum, I paid my max price for my clean-titled vehicle, they salvaged it out, and then did not clean up their mess. 2 (big) hits, and no mea culpa or help. DO. NOT. BUY. A. CAR. WITH. THESE. PEOPLE.

NEVER AGAIN... I have bought many, MANY salvage cars at auction. I was hoping to use G.A.A. To save on broker fees, since they are a unique dealer/broker where you can buy from BOTH Copart AND IAA auctions. NEVER AGAIN.

Don't get burned: USE autobidmaster.com or salvagebid.com!

Full of crap.
April 23, 2021

These people require you to deposit money to bid, nothing unusual about that. When I won a bid with representative Alexis on the phone, I deposit more money to cover the fees to reach their "24 hour deadline", cool. I go on vacation for my birthday and come back to learn my bank held my funds, no one calls, my bank nor GAA. This guy from their "financial department" calls me to say "we haven't received your funds, you almost cost us our license so we have to deduct $600 for a relisting fee". I immediately request a FULL refund and say I'm not paying that because I did my part in 24 hours WITH receipts, they say okay and ask for my billing address. I comply. This was 2/17/21. I still don't have my money. Leave these people alone.

We strongly urge customers to read our "How To Buy" section https://www.globalautoauctions.com/how-to-buy. We do not capture customer deposits and you need to be realistic with your expectations. We are unable to acquire "Ferraris" for $4,000 with a $400 deposit. The insurance companies are not going to accept bids/offers they all require minimum bids. No one scammed you, if you are owed a refund please contact info@globalautoauctions.com. We are sorry we could not assist in helping you acquire a vehicle. We have the best prices in the country. Good luck!

Do not deposit nor buy Jerry can't be trusted
April 18, 2023

I made a bid for a vehicle of $10,000. Then I got a call back from a guy named Tom telling me that I had to raise it up to the listing price of 13,300. Obviously it is not an auction because they're having me to pay the listing price so they're fooling you. Then another person that is not very friendly. He's very rude. His name is Jerry. He started charging me storage fees because I would not use his Transporter. I do not recommend to deal with this company because they have a lot of complaints about them bad reviews and they have a lot of complaints with the Better Business Bureau. You need to Google this information before you even buy a car from them. I started this bid on April 4 and today is the 17 and they finally by tomorrow. I'm going to have the car picked up now they tell me the car doesn't start and the car does not run. Beware. Global Auto Auctions sold me a car that does not run nor starts I paid $14,454 then I asked for a refund and Jerry said no I don't qualify for a refund.

SCAM ALLERT
July 26, 2021

Beware of this website. When I called their customer service the Representative did not sound like he was in the United States despite claiming to be located in TX. He did his best to answer questions about how the company works but when I questioned where he was located, he became agitated and hung up on me.

Global Auto Auctions attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

We are a U. S Based company and do outsource the over flow of calls to call centers after hours. Feel free to call during business hours 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and we would be more than glad to explain our process.

Scam site
March 18, 2024

So I noticed the site has salvaged and damaged cars for cheap so I was looking for a 2019 impala same model as mine for pieces. This site want me to pay $5,000 over the blue book value on a salvaged title car when I have the same car with no damage and less mileage? I was contacted by a supervisor from from global auto auction asking to increase my bid to $ 9,000 I said no quickly due to the fact I have the same vehicle and know the Kelly blue book. Next thing I know my account is banned? I contact immediately finding out why and I'm told because I'm a low baller? I'm a low baller for refusing to pay $10,000 for a salvaged car that needs more than $8,000 in damage to fix and the blue book on an impala in said condition is in $2,500? Crooks I advise everyone stayyyyyy far away from these people. I showed the kbb value of my car in perfect condition? How in the world would they expect 8,000 for a salvaged car when brand new perfect condition it's under 8,000? And I have the car now I cannot trade it in for $8,000. Lmao what a joke

Global Auto Auctions have been in the industry for close to two decades. We do not own or possess these cars, in fact these vehicles are located nationwide which are stored on a member-dealer only facility, they are not open to the public. Since we are licensed and bonded, we made it open to the public and we are helping insurance companies find buyers for their vehicles. If you are still interested to purchase salvage vehicles, you might want to give us a chance. Thank you!
