If you're not using Gigsalad to get booked for events, I'd have to ask why? I've been working with them for over 10 years and can only say how glad I am that I do! There are many ways to try and get booked but in my opinion, nothing is as far-reaching. I've used many ways to advertise and this is the most effective way to get more leads. I'm also very happy with the fee structure. Very fair and worth the cost.

I have used Gig Salad for four years as a Santa. I use them exclusively. Their service is comprehensive, professional and overall excellent. I have over 50 bookings this season even though I am the highest priced Santa in our market. Every time I call them they answer on the second ring and have a answer immediately. Their fee collection and payment is excellent.

I've gotten many offers, especially when I was a paid member, but there was no way to indicate that I was never available on Friday night or Saturday, and that's 99% or what I got. I'm told that feature is/was coming soon (excluding days one is not available). Regardless, they deliver what they promise. I recommend them.

They have a great profile presentation for potential costumers and an easy to use promo kit. Through the years, I have gotten some pretty good clients. They have a friendly, helpful, professional staff. I would recommend GigSalad if you are looking to book gigs; especially if you want to play different types of gigs that you cannot find such as corporate gigs.

I have been using gigsalad for a few years now. It started slow but now I'm getting regular bookings. They do a good job of getting me on top of Google searches. I love that I don't have to pay a yearly fee and their commission structure is very fair.

This was my first time using GigSalad and would definitely use again. It was easy to get a hold of entertainment in the area and receive a prompt quote. We used Sylvia the balloon lady and she was great at our company family bbq. She was on time; easy to work with; fastest balloon maker I've seen around, and has amazing balloon talent. Been in the entertainment business for 40 years. Payment is due on the day, not one to two business days as you have suggested. Also thought we chose the free part to gig salad. Why is $ been taken from our quote. Please respond. Thank you.
Hi Terry, thanks for your question! As a Free member with us, you're not paying a membership fee to get leads and bookings with us. So yes, we do have a 5% booking fee on each booked gig. We feel this is a fair fee and hope you do, too! If you prefer to get paid the day of the gig, you can take advantage of our "Marked as Booked" feature and handle the payment yourself. I get a lot of my gigs from GigSalad! And their vendor and client support is excellent! I have never had an issue with anything, they are right on top of it, always awesome and amazing. Since I get my gigs based on great reviews, I am writing one for them, they have earned it over and over again!

I'm signed up for a free/basic GigSalad membership. Most of the leads I get are not useful to me or any of the various ensembles I book. Still, for the few gigs it's added to the schedule this has proven to be a very reliable and well thought out operation. Some hiccups early on, but the system has been improved.
After several years using GigSalad, I'm not going to become a paid member -- most of the leads I get don't fit into my tour schedule -- but I am very satisfied with the service I get for the commissions I pay on the occasional gigs that do work out.
Gigsalad has been a significant boost to how I get bookings - they're a great value for what you get. While the membership is probably worth the benefits, I've been doing great with the free subscription. I would definitely recommend it!

I've been promoting my service as a pianist through GigSalad for about a year and a half, and I've been very pleased with the results!
