Bought a non-personalized gift for my spouse; it was cheap quality; wanted to return the item but they refused to take iy back and issue refund. I was told that if the item is non-personalized I could return it but it turned out not to be true.
Poor sales as well as bad customer service.
Beware!

Dreadful!

I live in the UK and ordered a wooden house name sign for my brother-in-law's 30th wedding anniversary (over $100 with speedy delivery) - he and his wife live in the US. My money was taken very promptly. The sign didn't turn up on the promise date so we missed the anniversary. I contacted Gifts.com and they said they had lost the order - interesting as they seemed to still have all the details but had not contacted me!

Stupidly, I reordered the same product with the same delivery details. Three weeks later, the sign had still not been delivered - and Gifts.com had not contacted me. I emailed them again. They replied quickly to say that they could no longer supply this item and would I like a credit note or refund - again, very suspicious that they did not contact me.

I have asked for a full refund and they have emailed me to say that they done that - let's see if it arrives in my account...

I wish I'd read the reviews before making this purchase - I will NEVER use them again.

Unreasonable

Overpriced and unreasonable
If I could give minus zero I would.
I ordered in error and let them know within 5 minutes and they would not cancel the order. Their stuff is overpriced & NOT made to order. Searched vendors after the fact & found EXACT item for sale locally fir 1/2 the price.

I ordered a 50$ 8x10 personalized gift for my husbands birthday. I did not open the box before he opened it. To my surprise, there were multiple misspelled words... as a company who basically brags on their wonderful personalized gifts, do they not proofread their products. Not to mention the first one took over a week to be delivered. Of course they are sending another with another estimate of 8 days. I wouldn't order from them again, id stick to Etsy. Totally disappointed.

Based in the UK, I wanted to send a gift to my sister in the US.

My first problem was the that the Cart would not load my gift purchase. After about 20 attempts over 24 hours I finally succeeded only then to be told that there were faults with my Credit Card details. A second card was also found unacceptable.

I used the Live Chat feature only to find that the Agent could do nothing except suggest I phoned the US from the UK. Despite the cost I did this. It took a ridiculous 33 minutes and 22 seconds before I was told by the Sales Agent that she wasn't able to process my phone order because she had only just discovered that neither she nor the US website were able to accept credit cards with non-US billing addresses. Apparently her extensive training missed this small, insignificant point. And obviously the developers of the website thought this irrelevant too.

In an attempt to be helpful the US Agent directed me to the UK site -- but when I went there I found that the prices were Pound for Dollar, i. E. a $50 item in the US costs £50 in the UK. Wicked over-pricing in the UK.

But not just the UK!

The USA too, as I belatedly discovered when I searched the web for the same or similar items. The fact is that EVERYTHING that Gifts Dot Com sells is also available from others at far, far cheaper prices than Gifts Dot Com advertise. I think I had a lucky escape. You will too if you walk away and buy from just about anyone else at all.

Spent $74 with this company and within 24 hours received a USPS tracking number - 10 days later the Tracking number still stated "Awaiting Item" after three e-mails I get a second tracking statement from China - when I input that data it said " no such number" total and complete scam! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I ordered my products on 11/23/2018 as a Christmas gift for my nieces. The cut off for xmas delivery was 11/25/2018. I did not receive an order confirmation. No reply to 2 separate emails requesting the status of the order. Filed a claim with Paypal and suddenly the day after xmas I received it. No communication, no follow through and now I fighting to get my money back. They take your money, tell you what you want to hear, breach their contract with you and then do not give you your money. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE THIEVES!

Beware if you are ordering from this company. My experience has been frustrating and the customer service is nonexistent. I ordered a retirement gift and paid $39.85 to expedite the order (2 day air). The order was processed and shipped on Monday. Today is Thursday and no package. Mr Mark Ramsey (from Gifts.com customer service) stated that I misunderstood and I needed to allow 3-5 days for them to process the order, then the 2 day air time is added on with UPS. The problem with Mr Ramsey's statement is UPS tracking shows it was picked up and processed on DAY 1. UPS made the error, but Mr Ramsey and UPS do not take responsibility and I paid a premium to get the package in a timely manner. I called Gifts.com, eight times during business hours and was automatically routed to the "after hours" voice mail. UPS and Gifts.com do not offer a remedy. The problem with Mr Ramsey is that he failed to read my email and respond adequately. Be ready for poor customer service and a lack of an adequate response from this business. For your awareness, paying for overnight service, by Mr Ramsey's standards and Gifts.com, means you MAY get it within 6 working days.

I ordered flowers with a upgraded vase, chocolate,
And some creams that came out to 60 + dollars, a little pricey but my know my wife would of loved. I chose Friday as a delivery date because I knew it would be busy on Saturday for mothers day, a little early but would be fine. AND NOTHING! I called and they told me that my order would not make it to my house till Tuesday ( A LITTLE TO LATE) then I asked for a refund we can't i dont have the capability to refund you need to call back on Monday.! What? I would not recommend this company if my life depended on it!

Ordered item to be delivered for Valentine's Day the 14th, even paid extra to make sure it arrived on this date - surprising your loved one at her work is always awesome- looks pretty stupid when it arrives too early or even next day -in this case it arrived early - now everyone thinks I don't know how to read a calender - now my wife will be the only one at work not receiving anything on the special day - DON'T BE AN IDIOT USE ANOTHER COMPANY - when I called they said "it stated by Feb 14"

THEY CANCELED MY ORDER FOR THE HOLIDAYS WITHOUT EVEN NOTIFYING ME. TILL WEEKS LATER I HAD TO ARGUE TO GET MY REFUND WHICH THEY INSISTED WAS REFUNDED, BUT WASNT!

SO I WANTED TO PLACE ANOTHER ORDER AND THEY REFUSED TO APPLY AND DISCOUNT OR OFFERS FOR THE MAJOR SCREW UP ON THEIR PART! I MAKE THE ORDER ANYWAY AND THEY ITEM SAYS DELIVERED. I CALLED THE RECIPIENT AND OF COURSE THEY NEVER RECEIVED THE GIFT!

SURPRISED? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

THIS COMPANY WILL STEAL FROM YOU AND THEN DENY EVERYTHING!

I ordered a gift for my wife for our 25th anniversary with plenty of time to spare. The shipment was due to arrive days before our anniversary. When it did not arrive on the day promised in the confirmation, I sent an email. No response. The next day I called. After 17 minutes on hold, I had to hang up, so I sent another email. Called again later. After 12 minutes on hold where they tell me every few seconds how important I am to them, a different message comes on and tells me that I have reached them after business hours and to try back later. More emails requesting status the next day. Never received any response, never received my shipment, no anniversary gift for my wife. I only give one star rating because I cannot give fewer. Cannot comment on quality because, but they mostly sell service and this was an epic fail for them, and incredibly disappointing for me. I hope that this review helps someone out there make a better choice with an I did when it comes to gift buying. I know that it will not help gifts.com to be a better company because it is clear to me that they simple do not care.

When I ordered the pillow shames for my sister in laws wedding I figured I would be getting excellent merchandise considering I paid 40 dollars for custom shames plus an extra 30 dollars for over night shipping. When I received my product both pillow shames said the same exact wording and only one of the 2 peoples names on it. They both said I love you now and underneath Anthony. When Im paying almost 70 and some change for this gift I needed within 3 days I expected the merchandise to be correct. Yes understandable I did purchase fairly quickly since I was in a rush to receive the gift but for them to just say oh the warehouse must have made a mistake and then offer to deliver new ones almost a week later was HORRIBLE customer service. Considering I have worked in the customer service industry for over 8 years I would expect them to ship a new one out overnight but instead I got offered standard shipping for something they screwed up on. So now I have to go and purchase another gift and spend more money since now I cant get my money back for another 5 to 7 business days. There was absolutely no sympathy and the women on the phone was very sarcastic towards the end of our conversation. Needless to say I am disgusted with the service and will never be ordering from this website EVER AGAIN!
