Ive recieved a hundred dollar gift card for my birthday in March2015. I followed the instructions to redeem the card on line and have a choice to deposit the amount into a paypal account so i chose to use my credit card. Ive been checking with American Express and they have no such transfer ever made. I have sent several emails to Gift Rocket and no response from them. Im embarrassed to tell my friend that she got scammed by this company. What a disappointment. I will make sure I let everyone know not to buy any thing from this company ever!
I had never used Gift Rocket before but wanted to send my son a gift card to his favorite brewery in FL. I mistakenly had it sent to the wrong email, so when I told him to open his email he said nothing was there. When I found out I got the email wrong I quickly sent off an email to Gift Rocket Support and they sent out a new one to his real email! They were great and extremely responsive!
I answered a survey for Delta Dental and for this the insured was sent a gift rocket card. What a scam! Plus it means they were scamming my Dental Insurance.
Now I have to spend time reporting to BBB.
Give me a break. They even sent a card that said Visa.
Just checked my birth certificate and as you might expect... I wasn't born yesterday. Reading through the reviews is enough for me. Loads of unfavorable comments and not nearly enough favorable comments. I will send money back to the sender of the gift with a thanks, but no thanks until I check with the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. If Gift Rocket is Legit... we'll see.
I recently received a gift card via GiftRocket. I had never heard of this company before and I was dubious of how it would work out. I am 75 years old and I am always afraid of being scammed. I am also only fairly literate on the computer so I was a bit intrepid as far as how I would be able to claim the gift. It was easy peasy even for this old timer to access the site and pick my gift. The choice was excellent and they even let you simply transfer the amount to your checking account. Because of my age and fear of scams, I chose to skip the money transfer and simply pick a gift card from their lengthy list. After making my choice, GiftRocket said it could take up to 2 days to receive my gift but it was only about 3 hours. All good and I would definitely choose them to give a gift to a friend or relative.
How incredibly stupid! I received a gift card that then only gave a few options to crappy stores and restaurants. Then the site proceeded to say I can send the $25 to my bank account and use the cash at Biggby coffee, WELL NO $#*!! Will never use this ridiculous site again and will tell others not to bother.
Without explanation, and my first experience with Giftrocket ends in lack of transparency and zero supper.

This is my first time receiving something on GiftRocket and I must say I am impressed by how much fewer steps there were compared to traditional alternatives. This was pretty seamless.
I couldn't get over how simple the process was to collect my reward. For me being 63 that means a lot. Electronic transactions just aren't that simple for people my age. Thanks for the smooth allocation.
Had no trouble, normally I do not like to do any money transactions on the internet but I hope this is totaliy secure and cannot possibly be hacked, I don't really like putting my bank info on the net
I recommend GiftRocket to all of those busy on-the-go people, like myself, for their are prompt, proficient, understand the needs of their customers wholeheartedly, and more importantly, don't restrict the buyer or recipient of the gift cards they sell to using it only with the merchant listed on the card itself, but they allow you to use it just about anywhere that accepts such cards, and if not, it's okay, because you can turn the entire balance of your gift card into cash, via ATM, or through a financial service provider. Folks, again i say, the Tina Turner hit song GiftRocket is: "simply the best, better than all the rest"!
When I attempted to print my giftrocket certificate it came out all blurry, unreadable. Since I was giving it to someone to use at Bogo's Pizza in our area I went to them to see what I could do. They told me they do not honor the certificate! I now have an unreadable certificate, not recognized by the establishment it was meant for and I am out $50. I have spent much time attempting to find a number to call to register my complaint.no luck. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!
I received a gift card from someone using GiftRocket. When I tried to redeem the gift, I get an error that says the site can't redirect to my gift card but that the gift card code was emailed to me.
I never received any emails. I then contacted GiftRocket customer service for help and no one ever responded.
I contacted the person who sent me the gift and told them this is a scam and to dispute the charge with their credit card bank.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
After reading reviews I highly doubted that I would get my gift card, but it was in my email immediately. The gift was sent for my husband and I to have a nice dinner, but there wasn't that option and I will not put my checking info into anything. So I got a Sephora gift card and already used it.
Suggestion for GiftRocket, maybe PayPal for the cash gifts or Visa gift cards.
Never heard of GiftRocket before until a good friend gave me a GiftRocket gift. Sometimes redeeming gift cards can be a hassle but redeeming my GiftRocket was so easy and fast and I especially like the flexibility to deposit my gift card directly into my checking account.
I ordered a gift card for a Christmas present. They sent it via email,, I paid for it & printed it out. Then I get a email they canceled it,,, no explanation,,, I called & emailed everyday. No call back. The email just said the security team canceled it & can't give me an explanation,,,, the money was never taken out of my bank account.I will never use this company again. Very frustrating,,, no one ever calls you back & you get no explanation why I couldn't get my gift card. Very bad experience!

I bought and got a confirmation email and then I got an email stating my purchase was canceled just like other have received. Got the same explanation which was nothing just that they couldn't tell me why it was canceled. What? Why?
Anyways I didn't get charged but the next day I had 3 unauthorized charges to my debit card that I had used for some crypto company Coinbase. I had to cancel my card. I am positive it had something to do with this site.
I attempted to purchase a gift card from this online company. It had my name on it as the receiver. The company canceled my transaction without saying why after it was already redeemed, and lets just say I ended up reporting to the BBB. I'm giving you the website so you can view it:

This gift I received was easy to redeem, I didn't see the card the person, who gave it to me, intended for me to have but it was very quick and easy to redeem the cash to go use at the intended store. I was a little unsure when I received it but it went very smoothly. This is a GREAT idea for contactless gift giving.
First we got flagged for security then we received confirmation that it went through at the same time we received confirmation it was canceled. When the gift card was received it wasn't intuitive enough for that party to figure it out. Frustrating and a waste of time. It would have been less of a hassle to drive to the store, buy a gift card and hand deliver it. Sad.
