I've never used a service like this before, but it was ideal for sending money and specify (but not dictate) where the recipient could use the card. It was FAST! SIMPLE! And loved that the recipient could easily send a thank you via Gift Rocket. I'm using it again!

Giftrocket is a scam! STay away second time ive used them to receive giftcards and they were cancelled both times. Their response was:

Terribly sorry for the trouble, but it appears as if this gift was
Canceled by our security team. We unfortunately also cannot release
Any details as to why this occurred to maintain the integrity our
Security procedures, but the sender was not charged and we suggest
Using a different service.

I had to email them when i did not receive the giftrocket. They do not email you to update you or let you know and sensitive banking info is used on this scam site! Beware!

Ordered a gift card as a Christmas gift without reading fully how it works. Once transaction completed and I realized that the card had to be redeemed through their site and could not be used in person at local business I immediately sent an email request explaining my error and asking to cancel. Received a response promptly, transaction cancelled that same day so charges never hit my credit card and I received a very nice separate email with a thorough explanation as to how their site works. While I have no future need to use their services I was very pleased with their customer service. I believe people are not fully understanding how the site works before using it and are causing their own problems as I did. Don't blame the company, read, read, read!

Received GiftRocket for birthday gift from family member. It is awesome! Gives the recipient the opportunity of choosing between options of how to receive their gift or take the $ amount and have it put directly in your checking account. I like the option of being able to select from various recommended choices and businesses along with ultimately having the opportunity to make my own decision if I would prefer to redeem gift as cash to purchase whatever I may need at the time. Process for redeeming gift is very quick and most fun to receive! I will continue to recommend GftRocket to others for a very fun gift experience!

I received a Gift Rocket in my email inbox. I had never heard of it before and was pleasantly surprised. It was so easy to click the link and select my gift! Wow! There were a lot of nice gift card choices or transferring the cash to my account to use as I please. It was very fast and efficient.

If you are looking for a great gift giving idea... use GiftRocket. You can send that special someone a gift card and even offer a suggestion of where they can use. A website link for the suggestion will be added to your e-gift link. I just found this site because there was no e-gift option for the place I wanted to send my friend a gift. I was able to suggest the site through GiftRocket and she loved it. I will definitely will use it again. Great find!

My daughter, who works at Amazon, gave a giftrocket money card printout for Xmas. Never heard of them and was wondering how difficult it would be. I'm 66 and not super tech savvy. Went to their site, super easy to understand and user friendly and I had my money in a day. Better than PayPal and Vennmo by far IMHO. Give it a try.

I wanted to get a "last minute" gift for an engagement that was in another state. This site offered many options with links to websites so I would be able to view their location and menu. I was able to print the gift certificate easily and include this in a "card" with personal message. It was a nice surprise that the recipient sent me a "thank you" from the same site. The whole process was surprisingly easy.

This is the first time I used GiftRocket or even heard of it. I won $15 from an event. I received an email from GiftRocket to redeem my winnings. I was able to choose from a variety of gift cards or I could deposit the amount in my bank account. I chose to deposit it in my bank account. The website is very easy to use and understand. They have very detailed instructions. They also sent me emails to let me know the progress of the deposit. The money was even deposited four days earlier then they said. The website is safe and secure. I would definitely use this company again.

Gift Rocket highjacks the restaurant websites -- It is a huge rip-off. If I could give minus stars I would. The restaurants do not approve. They have their own gift certificates and you do not have any fees charged to your account. Put them out of business. It took me all morning to find a phone number and finally get a credit or at least they said they were going to credit me. Have not seen it yet. The charge went through my account immediately. TOTAL SCAM is RIGHT!

I tried entering the Credit Card information and Gift Rocket rejected the Visa Card information. It's not like Visa is known as a third world company. I entered my checking account information and received and email that the deposit failed. There is no rating lower than one star. I will call my Daughter and see if she can get her money back. This was a Father's Day Gift so my Wife and myself could go out to Dinner. McDonalds anyone!

At the request of a representative from Gift Rocket, I did resubmit the request for funds from the Gift Card and it did go through to my checking account on the second try. I have raised the rating from One Star to Three Stars, which is only fair.

It's only fair I give a follow up review, that Gift Rocket does work. I am not pleased with the process because I do not like giving out personal information over the Internet.

We had a friend who helped us immeasurably, we wanted to say more than a verbal 'thank you.' They had recently moved to another state and weren't familiar with places to shop or places to eat. Giving them a restaurant gift card was the easiest thing to do with GiftRocket. They were delighted, said they'd checked out the menu online and had already decided what they would eat when they went out for lunch next week. This is by the far the easiest gift we've ever given anyone and will do this again at the next opportunity.

My peers and I always struggle what to do for Boss's Day. This website is perfect and makes it so easy! By allowing the recipient to select the store they want- you can't go wrong. I will be using this site for future Boss's Day gifts!

I was looking for the perfect gift for my niece, recent college grad living in the Boston area. I wanted to give her a gift card to a local restaurant, but they didn't have them listed on their website. So, GiftRocket came up as an option. I did it right away and it took about 20 seconds. Quick and easy. My niece was delighted that I recommended a restaurant, but that she could go anywhere, just like sending her a cash birthday gift.
