Individual companies should have better ethics and make it easy for customers to get the questions answered, but let's face it, most do not these days. Gethuman knows the secrets to reaching a real person for many, many companies. As an example, cell phone providers.
Great customer service. Ed spent literally hours helping me with a web publishing problem. I have a hearing disability and am unable to use a phone so Ed took it upon himself to personally call the web hosting service and be a facilitator. Although he is probably very busy, he persisted in solving my issue. I highly recommend this service.
BOOKMARK this site.
I called the support group to upgrade my service to include the hotspot. The tech named Nina told me they didn't have that service but I knew they did and advised her I had hotspot the whole time other than this billing period. I had used some of the reward points that didn't include it. I asked her to put me on that plan and was met with more resistance. After several minutes, she finally agreed to look at that particular plan and changed it. During the payment process, she asked if I had other properties. I felt that information is personal and it seemed very suspicious but she kept insisting that it's required. I told her no and advised she's asking personal information I didn't feel comfortable about. I'm ******** to start with and it was extremely difficult to cooperate with her. She seemed to retaliate by asking me to repeat information multiple times on multiple occasions. She even asked me to speak very slowly and spell each word. NO customer deserves that kind of treatment.
Needed assistance with contacting DMV to inquire about and resolve a matter. The response from this service was good, but in the end they were unable to do anything. I ended up having to resolve the matter on my own. It's hard to know if they even did what they said they were going to do. I believe they did - but the result was not in my favor. I attempted to go back to their website a few weeks later and it is down. No links work. Error 505 etc. I was concerned about this being a scam.
Aside from GetHuman being super easy to use and costing me nothing but free time, the service rep for Comcast who received my call was sure it was a random prank/robo call. She almost hung up, but was curious enough to see it through. Once I answered after GetHuman called me back, she was blown away for about 5 minutes before we could even talk about why I called. It was hilarious. She asked for the website and kept repeating it to make sure she did not forget it and also said she would use it from now on. GetHuman kept me updated on where they were in the process of getting me a rep to speak with! They also sent me text messages when they called back and I missed it, or if they ran into technical difficulties (that they went through for me and I didn't have to deal with the headache!). They're legit. Thanks GetHuman!
Ed got money back from Freelancer who illegally withdrew $167 from my account and when I called told me that it would take weeks to return it. Ed kept on the problem and got the money returned - He did an excellent job and was very nice and helpful.
I highly recommend GetHuman to help solve problems.
I found out the hard way that if you do know use your Pizza Hut reward points in six months, you loose the points without a warning, Pizza Huts customer service was helpful, however the reward people were not. Their solution to the issue was to drop out of the program and stop receiving offers from Pizza Hut... ken...
Get human says that they will resolve your problem within 24 hours, so I was upset when I didn't get a call back from my tech support person within that time. However, Ed, my tech support person persisted in writing me again to schedule a call, then was very helpful in a phone call during which he resolved the problem I was having with Skype. He was thorough, patient, and personable.
Leaving a comment to help others is actually of NO help when the system blanks out the relevant codes! This is not a security issue, it just makes the help useless. It takes star seventy eight to change voice mail settings, but star ninety eight to access the mail using the settings. Blanking out the numbers prevents comment from being helpful!
The quality of service was good and the wait time was long. I had a worry with my billing and I called and they were capable to aid me out! I really appreciated how they took the time to listen to me and get to the bottom of the difficulty and not rush me off the phone.
You need to make Get Human more visible. I was about ready to cancel everything because I was dealing with a computer which couldn't understand my problem. I decided to try one hast time, and was finally able to talk with a person who was able to explain to me what I needed to do. You shouldn't let people sign up without knowing about the need for a Rocu. I was lead to believe that all I needed was a Smart TV which is not the right answer. Only some Smart TVs can receive the streaming. Thus the problem was not the help I received from Get Human, but the inability to find it.
I was looking for a number for American Airlines at 7:30 CST, The website said use get human, they said 21 minutes someone will call you back! Four and a half hours later they call back AT MIDNIGHT! I am in the bed asleep at Midnight! What was the point of saying 21 minutes? I will never use this service again!
Recently, I had a security issue with my Chase Banks debit card. I have tried for weeks to get a resolution, but have had no satisfaction either online or by phone (left holding until line disconnects). After several hours of toiling over the matter tonight, I came across the Google hit that highlighted the phone number on my debit card. That is the only reason I called it. After typing sensitive information did I learn that I was not communicating with Chase Bank at all. I was tricked into sharing sensitive banking information, and then asked to pay on top of it. This set up is deceptive and fraudulent, as far as I'm concerned.
I should have known better. These guys may be able to help you if you are afraid to call your electric company, but Facebook is notorious for being unreachable via phone. GetHuman implies that they can reach them, instead they essentially waited 24 hours and sent me a four word message that I could have read straight from the FB help page. Then... silence. Total Scam. Don't waste your money!
Literally useless. Just call yourself and be less annoyed. Two hours after my problem was solved by myself I got a text from gethuman that the IRS closed. Wish I did not send my info to them.
This service is not only slow, but asks you typical questions every website does that to make you think they are working on your case while they take their sweet time and barely do anything. Im very disappointed and would never recommend them to anyone.
Plain and simple, if you want to throw away $25, give it to charity instead of this nonsense site. They had no knowledge of my problem, sometimes we are desperate for help and do stupid things, like think we can trust bottom feeders.
I have used Get Human for many years. Even after they changed the format and tried to charge it was helpful. Now it is totally useless. Don't even bother!
Contacted to get help with Experian. Experian customer care is non-existent. GetHuman never returned my request for service but did send constant follow up messages to ask if I was satisfied. So poor customer service and annoying as well.
Answer: I'm not going to take the chance. One bad review is enough to stop me. They charge $75. But in their terms, state service is free.
GetHuman has a rating of 2.8 stars from 295 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. GetHuman ranks 6th among Directories sites.
