I've decided to order here in husk.com because I am convinced that this website sells a legit Japanese-inspired knife. I am very satisfied with Huusk knife. We use them a lot, as vegans we are always cutting and chopping our vegetables. The knife cuts through the toughest vegetables and fruits without issue. I wash them immediately after use and store them safely, as it is very sharp.
I find huuskjapan.com to be a good starting reference point for my knife collection. The advertisements are facts backed up by my own experience with the product which gives this site extra credibility.
Do not buy from this company. I ordered 1 knife and when payment went through the order came back on the screen showing that I had ordered 6 knives & 1 block over £160 for what I thought was 1 knife. There was nowhere on their website for me to amend my order. I immediately contacted their on line chat & was told that the order had already been delivered so they were unable to cancel the items I hadn't ordered. Absolute rubbish! I received an email from them to say if I removed my dispute with Paypal that they would resolve immediately, 2 weeks later no refund and no updates and not even an order confirmation. Please do not use this company.

Avoid this company. I ordered a knife on the 11th Dec & since then I've been bombarded with 35 emails trying to get me to buy more stuff, almost on a daily basis. The record was 3 in one day, yesterday. You don't appear to get to know delivery times, after you've committed they tell you it can be up to 30 days ( from memory). The tracking info that's available is useless. These knives have never seen Japan, check it out. And my knife still hasn't arrived

Hey, a hunter here! I bought this to try on a hunting trip and this solid knife made the trip more exciting whenever we catch our "food". It's very sharp and the hole where I can get hold of a perfect grip is one of its features that I appreciate very much. Highly recommended for fellow hunters.
Ordered 4 knives was sent shipping info showing they were delivered. HAVE NOT received any thing. NOT seen anything. The more I attempt to communicate (half dozen emails and 1 long distance phone call) the more BS I get. Their web site states you receive package 5 to 8 days after shipped. I finally got my Huusk knife! I encountered some problems like wrong quantity in the final order and delay in the shipment. I called up their customer service and I was assisted by Maria. She assured she'd help me and she'll make the necessary adjustments. The knife arrived after 2 weeks though, but once you see it, you will be amazed with its shape and appearance. It comes in a leather jacket which adds to its uniqueness.

The Huusk knife looks like mean – and it sure can cut. Sliced up veggies and fruit for a relish tray and it only took me 10 minutes! Didn't know how bad all my other knives really were till I got this one. Love the leather knife jacket that came with it too.

Got mine a week ago and I tested if it works well for me. This is my honest review of the product.
Pro's:
It's ergonomic shape is helpful to people like me who experiences pain in the hand joints.
The design is so unique. It is unusual to see a knife that has the Huusk design which you'll really find very helpful in the kitchen
It comes in handy whenever we go out on a picnic and camping. No need to bring any other knife.
Con's:
It took a while before it was delivered. It's the holidays so I'd consider anyway.
Overall:
It is worth the price and I would recommend giving this as gifts to friends and family.

I ordered a Huusk knife and paid full price. I gave the knife away as a gift. I then received a phone call offering me another knife at half price and they would also include a leather sheath at no extra cost. I accepted the offer. In a few weeks I received the sheath, no knife and my credit card was charged $24.00 CDN. I have since incurred $16.00 LD telephone charges trying to track down the missing knife. I have received Zero satisfaction from my numerous email questions. Without a doubt this is a very poorly run company that does not even attempt to deal with a question from a paying customer.

My wife bought 2 knives and both had defects. Trying to return them filed claim with PayPal and now they want us to drop it through PayPal so they can speed the process up. My wife rejected this and now they just keep sending spam customer support emails that no body answers at the time of this email I have received 32 emails in 48 hours. The emails are a constant loop no matter how you respond. I wouldn't recommend their product unless you like tinfoil sandwiched between wood handles.

Do not believe a single word in any of the many 'positive' fake reviews/testimonials spread out all over the Internet!
Don't buy cheap Chinese made knives at Huusk's 'discounted' price that's more than five times higher than what many Chinese sellers ask for on the Net for identical knives from the same manufacturer and, this way, also avoid getting lots of weekly emails and phone calls, for many months at a time, to buy all kinds of other stuff from Huusk, starting immediately after ordering a knife...
Simply stay away from this unethical scam website for your own good!

Very, Very, carefully selected only 1 Huusk Knife... ONLY 1.
After submitting my details and credit card info pressed the YES SEND ME MY KNIFE NOW button and up pops a new window saying WAIT! Order up to 4 knives for $$$ with a big PLACE ORDER button.
Had to look hard to find ultra small black text link to opt out.
Then up pops another window saying WAIT, order knife sheaths for $$$.
And a big PLACE ORDER button. Found ultra small black text link to opt out.
Then new window saying WAIT, order sharpening stone for $$$.
Big PLACE ORDER button again with ultra small link to opt out.
Finally, up comes a page a with big PLACE ORDER button... for 4 knives!
No way to opt out offered and I did not want 4 knives, so I just closed the site without placing any order at all.
Irregardless, they immediately charged my Mastercard for 4 knives ($111.00).
I call that credit card fraud.
And they do not respond to several requests to cancel the order and refund my credit card.
By the way, the Order Summary emailed to me for the 4 "hand crafted Japanese knives" had an address in Lithuania.
