If you've been on and off dating websites for years... Because your friends are in relationships and hardly go out anymore... Or you're new in town. That was me in a nutshell! Thank you to Nick and the team for making me feel welcome and (nudging) getting me back on that horse. I met a great friend who has since become my travel companion. We just returned from a men's Caribbean cruise. Thank you for the introductions and continued hard work on my behalf. Although friends are invaluable, I am hoping my future hubby (and Netflix binge companion) will turn around that corner any day now. And hopefully before the holidays. Thanks a heep...
Thanks to Nick and Greg, who are both invited to my wedding if they can make it, I found a great guy who I plan on spending the rest of my life with. God knows we had some bumps in the road but I stayed persistent and learned how to be a better "dater" with the guidance of my coach/matchmaker. I cannot express enough gratitude in helping me on this journey. Save a dance for me if you come! Congratulations on your company's success and thank you again. Cheers!
Please reach out to us and let us know how things are going with your new flame. :) All the best!
A quick thank you to the GQ team for being on my team. I am looking forward to the future and you may be a big part of that. Being new to the country has made things challenging so this truly helps me in more ways than you can imagine. Keep growing and happy you are opening up to other parts of the world. It's defintely needed believe me.
Thank you Jonas for the support! Over 40 countries and counting...
Thank you to my dedicated coach/mentor Nick. You'll always be a cherished friend and I appreciate your tireless work on my behalf. It won't soon be forgotten. Opa! To my new Greek friend. And thanks for that last piece of advice *wink wink*.
Gayqaution and their team are terrific! Unlike some of the other companies, of which I have tried several, they are very fair with their fee. Where others charge more than 10x, they are quite affordable, considering what they offer and the personal attention. I also appreciated there were no contracts so I felt comfortable. Thank you for freeing up a lot of my time, while introducing me to some quality men in my region. I am a busy professional so I do find it difficult to carve away time. Thanks again! --B
Thank you Bill for the review and continued opportunity to introduce you to fellow LTR-seeking men in your area.
Big thanks to the team by including me in your growing network in Singapore and the Far East :) SGP has come a long way in LGBT rights and we appreciate your efforts in helping moving that along. Progess may seem quite slow, but historically speaking - it's moving quite fast. Thank you again and look forward to post-Covid dating and travel.
Thank you for your support. We feel the same about the open skies now. :)
Recommended if you don't want to spend hours on dating apps and with convos that go nowhere. I am tired of Grindr and Tinder - hours with guys that go nowhere. They describe themselves as relationship headhunters. For $50/month it's worth it to me. It saved me a ton of time and energy
Thank you Logan very much for the wonderful review and recommending us. We are looking forward to welcoming you again (especially in summer, when outdoor coffee dates spike upwards).
I have been a member for two years. The coaching service offered by Nick has been superb; very supportive and many good suggestions.
I live in Salt Lake City where there is a large gay population, but for unclear reasons the guys in Salt Lake City haven't responded very favorably to being contacted by a matchmaker.
Thank you Lee for your review. We value you as a member.
51yo, was married for 18 years to a wonderful woman, 2 kids, newly single and OUT, not into the bar scene or boystown and havent dated a man - EVER. The phone sessions to me were invaluable. Thank you to my fellow Canuck/Greek, Nick... great coach. I feel more confident and comfortable dating as a middle aged man. Its not easy but baby steps. Im a slow learner but Ill get there. Thank you again. Efxaristo! Side note: afternoon dates have gone much better than the night ones for whatever reason.
I was a client back in 2013 and decided to return as I noticed several changes, including Instadates, momentum service and a more thorough vetting process. The interview as well ran over 1 hour - not pushy and plenty of time to discuss all your criteria. I have already been introduced to 7 men, went on 4 dates. Love is probably not in the air... yet! But I feel confident.
I also don't have to spend time on these apps (uhem... Grndr) which consumes so much of my week. I see a lot of value in that. It is a month to month membership which I feel comfortable with as well. I didn't sign up for the coaching but I did elect for the momentum service which provide me feedback from my match and matchmaker which I find useful.
I will update my review after a few more months and introductions.
We appreciate your feedback and happy to have you as a valued client.
A+++
Really cool guys. Great matchmakers at least Andres and Nick. Focused on me and I met my best friend through Gayquation. Great customer service with no hassle
Thank you Ronnie for the kind words. We wish you and your partner all the happiness in the world. Love wins!
Met Andres at a new year Eve party a few months back. Said he had a client that would love to meet me. I didn't believe him at first but looked into it and seemed legit, so fast forward ended up being matched to Clint. It didn't work out with Clint although we dated and are still buddies. Ended up signing up myself and was assigned to Nick. Being a Latin man, I wanted someone who was ethnic and could understand what I wanted in a guy. I'm stocky and very into travel and I wanted someone who was Latin too and a personal trainer or really into fitness (selfish I know but need motivation to work out and have fun and make it sexy). I have limited free time since I travel for work. Nick told me it would be difficult and would need to be patient. So after being given two matches that were cool but haven't went out in person to meet yet. I decided to broaden my requirements a bit and Nick and his assistant Julian searched again a d here I am having coffee with Abe. His six pack is to die for. He is smiling as im writing this and said tell the guys thanks.
Think I'm going to pause my membership and see where this goes but wanted to thank Nick and Julian and Andres too for their help. Will recommend them and Gayquation to anyone that's open to getting help by professionals.
Almost honest to a fault Gayquation does spell out its entire process on their website, which I am appreciative of. It's probably the most thorough and detailed site I've seen and I've seen many. Please note if you're looking for a traditional matchmaking agency, they are not that but effective. They do not only match you to other clients within their network but also, as they put it, head hunt in as many as 100 resources. I would rather gladly put myself in their hands then have to go out there in the Internet ether with little to no results. Why not just have them do the work, I said - with a raised eyebrow. And after only 2 months I am happy that I did, gladly not having to sift through endless profiles and communicate with gentlemen that are genuinely not interested in anything more than a romp in the hay. The one slight I have, which is obviously not their fault, is COVID-19 has put a damper on possible real time dates. But once that cloud is lifted I have a couple of high chance possibilities lined up for me. Wish me luck!:-)
On a side note, wishing everyone to remain safe and healthy during these crazy times.
Stay safe and healthy too, Laval and to all of our clients and their families around the world.
This matchmaking service is a waste of time and money. After reading so many positive reviews I had strong hopes that this service was legit. Now having experienced them for myself I can't help but wonder if these positive reviews are fake decoys meant to convince others that this service actually will work for them.
After several months in total I got four matches - two of which weren't even remotely my type, which seems to negate the whole purpose of using a "matchmaker", while the other two matches didn't even respond when I reached out to them. This after the matchmaker told me these guys were interested in meeting me. Fortunately I had the good sense to quit before I got charged for another month. I've had much better luck on other websites and have had multiple coffee dates taking the initiative myself instead of using a third party.
Bottom line - yes, online dating is hard, but you're better off trying to find online dates on your own than using this particular service. You'll save yourself a lot of heartache and quite a few bucks from your wallet.
Thank you Robert for the feedback. It is appreciated as we continually try to improve our services for our clients. We realize that this not tangible item we are ordering off Amazon but we try to make it as close as we can to it. :) Please know that every deal breaker our clients give our matchmakers must be met as part of the Gayquation guarantee. If a deal breaker has not been met, for example radius, height, educational level, etc, the match is replaced. The interview process is integral for making sure we understand every non-negotiable trait. Most potential matches are rejected for that very reason. Our matchmakers spend a considerable amount of time during this portion of the process as they screen and communicate with countless men on our client’s behalf. As we continue to enhance our services, while keeping our rates the lowest in the industry, we hope you give us another try in the future.
Momentum and coaching services were very helpful to me. Thank you for the guidance and navigation. Soooo frustrating dating as a gay man. I appreciate you guys being in my corner. Very professional.
Thank you for the review and putting trust in our matchmakers and matchmaking process. Happy New Year!
While I've never requested service from gayquation, I have profiles up on several dating sites and apps while I'm single and I get hit up often by profiles that end up being guys from gayquation. Their profiles read like someone looking for themselves but then they send a form response stating they are a matchamker (and the cheesy tag line of "they do exist", creepy). So, immediately, it feels shady because you think someone is interested in you but they are just trying to get your attention. This company goes out to all the apps and sites for the area you are in or moving to and asks guys if they can introduce them to you. If you want to pay someone to do that, fine, but just go put profiles out there yourselves for free. Trust me, after having interacted with this company on many occasions, they arent doing you any favors. My profile is very clear on what interests me in a guy and they dont read any of it. They are just throwing the hook out there for you without doing much work at all. Ive even had them send pics of guys who are already on the website they are contacting me on. Just be aware of what service you are getting and happy hunting.
Thank you for your review and feedback. We continually make improvements because of them and it is much appreciated. Our matchmaking services do fulfill different needs and one being the busy professional who does not have the time or energy to screen for and vet quality LTR-seeking men. Our matchmakers do scour everywhere (and we mean everywhere), from meetup groups to personal sites, in order to find matches that fit our client's needs. No robots are employed here. :) Every matchmaker literally screens, reaches out and background checks every prospective match. More of where we look and the process can be found here: http://www.gayquation.com/targettouch
Contacting me ask for my info saying someone's interested in me and then giving me no Response after
Thank you for your review. Please note all of our matchmakers are required to respond to our clients within 24 hours. If a match changes his mind or has cold feet, he is replaced per our guarantee. Obviously, we make sure we put you in front of genuine LTR-seeking men that are interested in connecting, but many variables come into play when we headhunt for potential matches outside the network. Hence, we instilled our Match Guarantee so in the event someone does not communicate, he will not count as an introduction. First, our matchmaker reaches out to the match to attempt to jump start it. If he does not hear from him, with a valid reason within 48 hours, he is rejected and replaced. Along with non-communication starters, anyone who misrepresents or an acquaintance is also replaced. Every match must also pass our background check. By listening to our valued clients, like yourself, we try to make our service as tangible as we can.
So far been with them for two months went on 1 date but met 4 men. My matchmaker Andres is very accommodating and I can't wait to see who they send me next. Thanks guys
I want to stick up for these guys who are trying to find needles in a haystack. This is not easy fellas! Cmon now. And my haystack is small with all my wants. My go-tos are Tinder, Realjock and GQ
Hugs back Christopher! :)
I was assigned to Nick P. As my lead matchmaker. My second matchmaker, Greg T., was not on our first call/consultation and interview but apparently he assists my lead in screening for matches on my behalf. I have to say I have never had a consultation run as long as it did. I was referred to by a close friend and he did tell me that Nick will spend hours if need be with a potential client. There is no hard sale. He literally seems to enjoy what he does and speaks with such passion, and yes, with a business plan approach to dating, which I think, especially with men, resonates. Particularly to me and my STEM career and background. I appreciated the nuanced approach to the numbers and my chances as I do not live in or near a metro city and I am over the age of 50. While vernacular like market size may not appeal to everyone I think it's refreshing to get, even if blunt, honest feedback without any sugar coating.
I did speak with other agencies before joining gayquation and many things turned me off like not listing their prices on their site (bad sign! Usually in the $1000's) or during consultations giving me unrealistic expectations without even asking questions about me. I found that odd. With Nick P., I felt comfortable during our consultation I would be in good hands, even if the perfect match did not come about. I outsource certain tasks to experts in my business so why not do that in my personal life, I thought to myself. I think of it like small investment ($200/month) as I just do not enjoy the apps, nor have time to sift through profiles and move conversations along. And truthfully I am bad at it.
Thus far, Nick P. And his team is doing that for me. As a 50-something year old gay man, a little help is a lot of help. I will give another update a few months in but thus far I appreciate the hard work they have put in on my behalf. I realize they do scour everywhere, including their own Db. My first several matches, while nice guys, were not a fit long term. One though became a friend. We in fact joined a meetup group together recently. I do not have any gay friends so it has been refreshing.
Note: I did not elect for the coaching but may add it in the future. I believe they have another add-on but it did not seem useful to me.
I advise you to have a phone consultation (mine ran for 1 ½ hours) and I believe Nick P. Is the one that conducts them.
Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, you may absolutely elect for the coaching separately or as add-on to your matchmaking membership. To sign up for coaching alone, please visit: gayquation.com/addon
