I booked seats at a Cubs game. It was the first time I took my 3-year-old to a ball game. I inadvertently booked tickets that were deemed "limited view," but the picture of the view only showed two beams barely obstructing the view behind the plate and a small section of the outfield. When we showed up (and I promise I am not exaggerating), there was a GIANT beam directly in front of our three seats. It was literally blocking the entire baseball diamond for all three seats. After the game, I called to share my experience. I spoke with a representative named "Emily" who was extremely nice and validating. She asked that I send her a picture of the view, and I did - to which she responded "oh my gosh that is a massive beam. I am so sorry this happened to you that is crazy." She then said it would be forwarded to her ticketing team for review. Within 5 minutes, they sent me a text saying the tickets were "properly labeled" and refused to provide ANY resolution. I called back and spoke with another representative, "Legh." I explained the situation, and she said she would speak with her "team." She put me on hold for "3-5 minutes" and kept telling me they were "investigating." In the meantime, she offered me a 10% coupon to spend more money at the company. I said no and asked just to be reimbursed for the ticketing fees (appx $45 on a $250 order). She said she would inform her "team." Each time she offered to send me a text or an email so I wouldn't have to stay on the phone. I told her I would stay on the phone as long as I needed. She then repeated that process literally 6 times for "3-5 minutes" until she finally gave up and said her team would get back to me in 24 hours. Literally (I checked) 6 minutes later, they emailed me saying the best they could do is 10% off my next purchase. This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had, but specifically because they kept trying to manipulate me into getting off the phone so they could reject me via text or email. It was a blatantly obvious tactic. This is why ticketing companies get sued in class actions. Don't ever use this company (even if it means saving the whopping $5 from not using one of the other ticket companies). 0/5 stars

I had an awful experience trying to buy tickets for The Weeknd's concert in Arizona. The Gametime app kept freezing, yet still placed holds on my card. After multiple failed attempts, I finally got a confirmation—only for them to tell me minutes later there was an "issue" with my tickets. I spent nearly an hour going back and forth with support, agreeing to alternatives, but never got clear instructions on how to access them. When I arrived at the venue, Gametime was completely unhelpful—no one answered my calls, and the rep who finally called back provided zero solutions. It was the venue's box office, not Gametime, that told me I needed a separate app to retrieve my tickets. By the time I got in, I'd missed the opening acts and The Weeknd's entrance. Worst of all? They refused to acknowledge the real issue when I asked for resolution. And if you have a problem, good luck speaking to a supervisor—everything is done over email, with one slow response per day. Horrible customer service, zero accountability, and a complete waste of money. **Do not use this app.**

Parking scam
February 11, 2025

They sold me a parking pass "near" the venue with my game ticket, but it was nowhere near the venue. They expected me to walk 15 minutes at night alone (I'm female and it's downtown LA at night) to the venue from the parking space and will not offer any refund or resolution because it was supposedly as described. I had to pay another $25 to park one block away from the event. 50 bucks for parking is not a good deal at all. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience. They are very nice on the phone but they are just gonna keep your money so watch out! Never use Gametime for anything! I'm boycotting this site and encouraging all my friends and family to do the same. Beware!

Never Again!
December 26, 2024

Tickets I purchased from Game Time came out INVALID during the event resulting for us to repurchase new tickets at the event center. They denied my claim and did not offer any resolution. They do not take responsibility at all stating they are " third-party ticket marketplace that does not have ticket inventory, and as soon as they transfer it to the ticketing link to be delivered to your phone/account that no one could access it. Well obviously that is a big fat lie! Because from the event center investigation, our tickets were resold to other customers! It is incredibly frustrating because of the inconvenience
And delay it has caused plus now the time consumed calling/emailing a complaint to NO AVAIL! I lost $502 but I wish they will lose business from being a scam!

This is an awful company! They allow tickets to be listed for resale that sellers don't even have yet. Stay far away from these guys and use Stubhub. 15 years with Stubhub and never a problem. Used Gametime ONE time and they screwed me!

Purchased tickets for a family holiday experience six weeks ago. I checked in several over the last six weeks to make sure everything was secure since holiday plans are potential memories in the making and budgets and calendars are tight. Couldn't afford a misstep. And then, on the day of the show, gametime "hit a snag with the seller." They'd taken my $ six weeks ago, and despite my regular check-ins, they still broke the promise. I was offered inferior seats, some of the worst in the venue, but that's not what I paid for. And I planned far enough ahead to have good seats. Not sure how or why I would trust them again.

Hope destroyers
October 25, 2024

We purchased tickets with the app and by morning received a msg stating the tickets could not be delivered for a show the 10/25 show (we did not purchase anything for 10/25).I then received a msg that the ones purchased for 10/26 could not be delivered. I called as I didn't understand how you can sell tickets that you do not have. They explained it was the seller and they are only a 3rd party. So basically they allow people to screw people over and take no blame. They said they looked to see if there was tickets the could provide us to "make up" for it and said there was none... there were still tickets for sell in the same exact section of the stadium they just cost more. This seems rather standard practice based on a lot of the reviews i have read on different sites. I wish i would have done more research before my wife and daughter got there hopes up.

I wouldn't even give this group one star if possible. Purchased tickets in April for a football game. We may not be able to attend so I wanted to sell the tickets, or at least list them. Gametime would not sell the tickets, because the say tickets will not be available until 24-72 prior to the game. Yet they sold me these tickets in April.
I asked them to contact the original owner of the tickets, I was told he was aware of the sale. Which doesn't help me at all.

We've been to two NFL games this year and had tickets in hand months before the game.

I would avoid this group at all cost.

Gametime bad experience
September 29, 2024

Hello,

Horrible experience, seems like everyone I spoke to was clueless to how to resolve the issue and at the end I didn't receive my concert tickets which I paid $1,104. I missed work, booked hotel and drove 7 hrs and everything else that I spent on meals all for nothing when Gametime said to go to box office and I would get my tickets which that was not true.
Box office at Vegas sphere said tickets where under someone else's name and that person needs to be present to get tickets. My daughter and I missed the concert. I called Gametime to let them know, I sent pictures of proof that I didn't get my tickets transferred to Ticketmaster nor email and investigation would get resolved in 14 days when I had already contacted Gametime 2 weeks prior the concert day and they never resolved they waited till day of concert 30 min to concert to say it will be investigated and will be resolved in 14 days unbelievable this should've been handled immediately. So unprofessional. I did already several reviews on different websites with my bad experience and also with BBB because GaneTime should have trained customer service representatives to resolve issues immediately but all were clueless or gave me wrong information.

Never again!
September 26, 2024

I chose 2 seats to a concert at Madison Square Garden. The seats were costly but I wanted to attend the show. Once purchased they then sent me the seat information which WAS NOT what I had selected The seats they gave me were behind the stage! I paid almost $700 for this! I immediately reached out to game time. Ultimately they would not correct the issue even though I snap shot the seats I had picked before confirming purchase. They would not refund me either. I fought with my credit card company which I had also contacted immediately. Bottom line I had to pay for the tickets and I never attended the show! I thought if I didn't attend maybe it would give me some leverage to get refund but it didn't. I will never buy from game time again and I urge anyone reading this to stay away from this site! 😬

I will never use Gametime again. Spent $1,000 on tickets. Received a confirmation at 11:00am that tickets were purchased and would receive an email to download them. Well I never received the download email. When I called to ask where my tickets were they said I downloaded the tickets and then resent them to myself. Since I did that they couldn't resend me link. Good excuse there but Why would download and resend to myself. I do not have one other email from them with anything about my tickets. I disputed it and they said the ticket download link was sent at 10am on same day I bought them at 10:43am. So let me get this straight you sent me the link to download tickets 43 mins before I bought them. That's your defense. This company is joke with horrible customer service. Pay the extra money and use a real company.

Bought tickets for a live music event six weeks prior and was never sent the tickets. After contacting customer service the next day I was told the tix would be transferred 48 hours before the event. When I contacted them two days before the event I was told they would transfer the next day. When they didn't transfer that day either I was told they would transfer a few hours before the event started. What a scam! Who would do business that way? They had my money for six weeks and never sent me the tickets. I had to file a dispute with PayPal (where I paid for the tix) in order to get a refund. Horrible company.

VERY EXPENSIVE SCAM!
March 31, 2024

Gametime is a scam. Their "all-in" tickets are $98.34 more than LiveNation and LiveNation tickets INCLUDE parking. LiveNation provides the tickets right away...lord knows if I will ever receive my gametime tickets. Can't return tickets for a full refund to my credit card - only gametime credit. Can't price match for cash difference, again, only gametime credit. THEY DO THIS INTENTIONALLY BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY ARE SUCH A SHADY COMPANY THAT CUSTOMERS ARE EITHER STUCK WITH A gametime CREDIT & HAVE TO USE gametime AGAIN, OR BETTER YET THE CUSTOMER WILL JUST GIVE UP.

Dishonest and deceptive purchase practices. Showed one price then charged another without letting me know. Contacted immediately refused to acknowledge my contact through chat and email. Requested an immediate refund they ignored it till the day later and said that it was too late. And that I should try to charge him back because I won't win really bad attitude as well. Hell has a special place for companies like this.

Me and some friends bought 7 tickets for the Bills/Steelers playoff game in Buffalo in January 2024. We live in Florida. 3 days later a huge snow storm came through causing a State of Emergency in Buffalo. A full travel ban issues by the Mayor and ALL flights were cancelled in and out of Buffalo. Our flight was cancelled Saturday, Sunday and again Monday. It was so bad they even moved the NFL game from Sunday to Monday and that NEVER happens. Obviously, we couldn't get there. Not that we didn't want to. We physically couldn't! Airports were closed! We got our money back for airlines and hotel but not from GAMETIME! They literally used the opportunity to take advantage of people and show me their return policy. Nowhere does it say if the city is in a state of emergency! Another obnoxious company only worried about the bottom line and not actually trying to help people.
