One you make a purchase you don't close the transaction until you do I full inspection of the product. This concept make the buyers and sellers establish integrity. I buy lots of giftcards, it's a good site to save a few bucks. Takes some time for new sellers and new buyers but I'd say safe purchases.
It took 8 days and numerous email from the time the buyer recieved the card until I finally got paid. Payment was a little less than it was supposed to be. Website is difficult and often not available.
I've been selling and seen so much scamming on this site and now gameflip is the ones scamming and banned my account right when it hit 300 in my account and took my money just cause I wasent making them as much money as they wanted anymore this site customer service sucks and never gets back to you I would not recommend this site
I got a message from this service charging me $9.99 i don't know for what. I never signed up for it or used any of there services. Yet I still get charged money for no reason.
The site requires driver's license photo with selfie of the owner and recent phone bill. If you use a credit card, you have to take a selfie with the credit card too. Can anyone say identity theft? I was able to purchase once for $75 gift card. Then, all of the next sales require all this personal information to purchase again. It seems like a scam. There are other ways to verify payment types than what they are requiring. My suggestion is to NOT give this information to them or anyone else requiring this information to purchase things.
Don't even bother, they are sacks of $#*! that hide behind fine print or no print. They make it up as they go. Rather your a buyer or seller they will take their generous cut and leave your purchased product or your funds from a sold product in limbo where it will remain till they ultimately make up a reason why they had to tie your product/product proceeds up for 10 business days. Do not use gameflip
