Game battles is full of premium members who dispute matches and win the dispute because they actually pay money, gb is now biased against people who do not pay for their membership, then I end up getting a site ban for a game we won 6-0
If I could give less than one star I most definitely would, their staff is $#*!, the enforcement of rules is totally biased and they are very neglectful to anyone trying to help enforce the rules or listening to what people have to say
Good luck trying to win a match on gamebattles, for you will be hit with dispute after dispute. This site, along with their customer support, is the definition of terrible. All players seem to do on this site is play a match, and then dispute it if the match does not go there way. Even if you follow the rules exactly how they are so poorly thought up and written, the customer support reps will find a way to screw you out of a win for you and/or your team. It is a complete and utter waste of time to even try and play a match on this site. If the opposing team is higher rank than you, you will lose the match 90% of the time. Even if you win legitimately. This is why gamebattles or (MLG) as a whole is going terribly downhill. Stay away from the headaches and frustration that this site will do to you.
Been using this site for a while over the years to play S&D with friends and it is just getting worse and worse by the day.
If you buy and become a premium member you are pretty much guaranteed a win assuming the other team is using the free version. I have ran into so many problems with the other team disputing and getting free wins, just feels like the mods don't give a $#*! and don't even give you much of a reason why the other team won a dispute.
A more public showing of how bad the mods are is recently in an NA Amateur tournament they banned a proven cheater but allowed him to keeping playing in the tournament...
I strongly advise using an alternative site before you end up losing your $#*!ing mind with all the bull$#*! dispute decisions you get
Won multiple tournaments on gamebattles, if I play someone that has a friend that's an admin. I get the loss. Whether it be for not taking multiple videos, not taking 5 minute long videos, 10 minute long videos. The reason changes depending on what proof we provide. Literally just a money sync and even if you win, you won't get anything you'll just lose your money. Take your chances with Checkmategaming.com.
First began playing Gamebattles when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare came out. Loved it. Competitive, something to do besides pubic matches; it was a great time. Now, it's full of kids looking to be number 1 by cheating their way to the top. Over the last 6 years, dispute percentages have more than tripled because when someone, or a team loses, they dispute. No one takes a loss straight up anymore. I'd rather play public matches than have to deal with the kids who play Gamebattles now. Premium members always have first word. You pay to win. And pay for a free website. Ridiculous. Admins aren't worth a $#*!. Seem just like cops; never there when you need them. If I could give this site a 0 out of 5 i sure as hell would.
The staff was unhelpful and did nothing to help when the other team was clearly cheating after sending videos to them. The staff also was disrespectful when having the conversation and ended it without allowing me to capture what they said which they are supposed to allow. Very upset with them. Don't waste your money on them ever
The service that is provided for tournaments and other issues is not very helpful. Issues are not resolved and not fully resolved. The organization of this website is also very all over the place. There needs to be more structure and guidance.
The whole reason for the site is to create competitive ladders. The site only works if you moderate it correctly and the that doesn't happen because the community is filled with D-bags who dispute EVERY loss just to see if you have proof of the win and guess what? You lose disputes you even have clear evidence for because they put it into the hands of the community to decide which as stated before is filled with undercover D-bags. I'd say a permanent ban on those who are serial disputers would clean it up but the site is run by people who obviously don't want to make a lot of money by increasing memberships just by conning premium memberships with the promise of a better experience. GFYS. Idiots sitting on a gold mine and can't get it right.
Regardless of what proof you send in or anything the admins have friends or play themselves so if you win you will be forced to replay until you lose then you will get the loss. The rules are never consistent and the support is people you've played/beat before so it's always going to be stacked against you if you play. You're better of at UMG or CMG or anything else.
This website for the most part is pretty cool... sometimes disputes are really rediculas but besides that its a good competition gaming site for games like gears, halo, and my favorite COD
The match rules are clearly stated, even as a premium team and valid proof they award the other team the win with no explanation of why. Waste of time and money there are better leagues out there.
