Girls lure men to Gagahi and then to interact with them it is typically very expensive. $1.00 per minute. It is a total scam and AMEX will reverse all charges as this is 99.99% fraud. It is reminiscint of the days of the old 900 number era when men would pay to talk to girls on the phone. Asians are best at this and seem to use it often from all dating sites then push to gagahi. No legitimate purpose for this site

Scam, most of the girls are fake. They marked as from different countries but all from china. They lure people from other chatting sites to gagahi. And make them to spend money on the app, which all the services and products are extremely overpriced some like 10 times as market value. Those girls then make money out of what you have spend. Basically they cheat your affection feeling, some destroy family without hesitatiom and making commisson based on their selling services and products on it.

Gagahi is a mystery to me.
About 80% of profiles are fake, but a few appear to be genuine.
The person you are chatting to is not the person in the photos.
You can easily weed these fakes out by demanding they take a selfie with a particular pose. EG one hand on head.
Beware, these fakes have a stash of photos to send as required.
Most drop out at this point.
But a few respond positively.
At least you know the person you are chatting to is the one in their profile pics.
The fakes insist you use IM chat which is very expensive, and i think they receive commissions for this. Otherwise there is no reason for them to insist on this.
The genuine profiles are happy to chat on DM which provides 3500 characters per day for no additional cost. But to use DM you must be a VIP which costs $150-200 per month.
Some profiles will say they are in your country or city but are really in China. Again you can easy eliminate the fakes by insisting they take a selfie showing your city in the background. Some will come back with a pic of your city without their face in the pic. Don't be fooled by this. Some will become defensive and aggressive. Walk away immediately. Don't fall for the hot pics of a beautiful woman.
Back to DM. Direct Message.
This works well and you now have a few confirmed women chatting to you on DM.
You can have online sex, very hot chat and selfie porn pics via email with these women.
They seem to enjoy every moment and are very happy to send the most intimate pics and have the hottest chats possible.
In time you can actually develop a strong online relationship in this manner.
But where to from here?
They are all in China and you are not.
Most speak very little or no English.
Most point blank refuse to give contact details. EG phone number, and come up with very creative but unbelievable excuses.
They can give an address but its not a confirmed address.
A selfie showing Passport, drinking license or ID card would do it but most won't agree to this.
So what have you got?
A woman you have an emotional attachment to, but you never actually meet.
When a meeting is arranged they come up with, again, very creative excuses.
So why do they do this?
Are they satisfied with a "Walter Mitty" fantasy relationship. Yes I think they are. Or perhaps they are in a relationship and just want some online anonymous fun using someone else's pics.
I think if the woman sends you a selfie showing her ID card you are home free. I think thats about one profile in say 25-50.
Interestingly, with monthly fees and the cost of translation, these people' are certainly spending north of $4000US per year. Many would be at least double that.
So most have jobs and are financially well off.
The mystery to me is "why do they do this for no physical gain?" It rarely ends in a relationship.
Any ideas?
Perhaps its simply the Chinese psyche that im not tuned in to?

Beautiful Asian women. All will agree to meet, and will inundate you with useless chat that costs you a bunch of money if you stay with it. I have talked with several and set up meets with them, then mysteriously they have many excuses why they cannot meet. It is really sad. I think the women are being forces to do this. Several have slipped and it kind of came out they they were not acting of their own free will.

There is nothing about this site that is legitimate. Customer service is terrible. They play stupid, dont resolve issues, so they can keep your money (for a service that does nothing for you). So you know, the woman I spoke with has no number to reach her and no email to write her

Ok, there is a few cases, a real human is behind the pictures posted, but there are so many of these "ladies" that are bots. You send an answer to a question and immediately you'll get 2,3 or 4 immediate responses that make no sense with respect to the current conversation. Oh and if you ask for a picture, they will send you one but it will be the same as the one posted in their profile. On more than 12 occasions when asked for a photo with a sign saying, "Nice to meet you," the women get offended and begin conversation, "Boo hoo you don't trust me." Its all fake except for the amount of money you can spend on this site.

I got on this site because a woman I met on a dating sites English is not very good and this is better for her. As I consider myself an attractive man I have met several women on here that are all Beautiful and want to date me. I'm not believing it one bit and tell them I'm dating someone but they are all relentless in their pursuit so you quickly use up your characters and have to buy more to keep communicating. It all feels like a scam because I've encountered at least 12 different women, some were even close to where I was living but of course found every excuse in the world not to meet up which uses your credits and of course keeps you paying. They even seem to know when you are on the app even though you select "invisible" way to coincidental. They seem to have endless amounts of money to spend as they don't care when you say it's to expensive I can't keep messaging you here. They just ignore and keep messaging you. Plus the app doesn't make anyone do anything to verify themselves and it seems as if every female pic is taken professionally. When I've blocked someone they STILL message me ironically right after I've been on for 10 or 15 minutes. Really, yeah I don't think so. It's hard to get used to what and where everything is and I can see a depressed lonely person paying thousands to them for nothing but company. Sad because it could be a really good app to use for people who want to feel comfortable with someone before getting together. There's a lot of other strange things about set up and usage that bewilders me so I will be very happy to get away from this app. Where I think there are real people on here, obviously there'd have to be, it's scary to me to think that the one I've been communicating with may be scamming me as well. I think they owe me all of my money back or at least 6 months full usage free to prove me wrong but I doubt that'll happen. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea. It's really not even worth one star and I will buy my review up everywhere. Kind of surprised the App Store doesn't research this stuff

You will probably be lured to gagahi by "girls" finding you on other sites. Excuses such as "my English isn't good, let's talk on gagahi so it's easy for me".
All you'll find are bots, and scam profiles.
They're run by gagahi employees.
They'll push you to upgrade and use the gagahi translation services, they'll push you to send them red packets and gifts from the gagahi mall.
They'll ask, they'll manipulate you emotionally, they'll send photos of women that don't belong to them.
It's all aimed at getting you to part with your money and get nothing in return. The gagahi mall is the best example of this. Items on there are listed for massively inflated prices, one being 10x market value.
Avoid this site at all costs, save your money and your emotion for someone real and worth it. You won't find them on gagahi.

I met someone on loveplanet, we started talking on their then exchanged emails. We sent a few, and she sent a picture. She then asked me to use the Gagahi site for language translation and sending pictures and voice messages as she doesn't speak good English. I joined the site and she sent me more pictures, which I can't see unless I pay. I emailed her asking her to send to my email address & I even asked her on Loveplanet. This was last night, she hasn't replied back to me.

Don't trust your eyes. Most are men, Very few are women. Most will lie to you and then forget what they lied about so you get different stories all the time. The women in here, tell you what you want to hear Just to get that THEY want. Ive learned, I don't buy ANYTHING for them. If they want. I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THIS SITE TO ANY SANE MEN!

A few months after writing my last review in which I stated I had not yet seen my Gagahi G/F, I finally managed to bribe her into fronting up on Skype.
I can tell you she was definitely not like the girl she posed as while she was on Gagahi. She is however quite attractive in her own way, though not at the level of the beauty whose pictures she 'borrowed'. I still keep in contact with her, though due to the fact she never wants to meet me in person, our relationship has drifted.
I've actually found that the best alternative to the Chinese DS is to go to China and select a beautiful woman for yourself. I met a very pretty young lady at a Karaoke club in Jiaxing - I know what some of you are probably thinking 'Karaoke clubs synonymous with sex work, right?' and yes, this is often the case to be sure. And it's true that the women in these clubs are also mostly interested in gifts and money, but so what? At least you can get something back for your efforts and maybe strike up a nice little relationship with her at the same time, one that is beneficial to both parties.
The problem with the DS is that in the vast majority of cases the women will never reveal their true identities so you are always left in doubt as to whether they are who they say they are. If you have money to spend on beautiful women then take my advice, go to China, check out one or more of the innumerable Karaoke clubs and search for your 'dream woman'. Sure, she'll take your money too, but at least you'll know that she is really real.

Update on 'Authenticating the Gaga girls'
July 19th, 2016
• Previous review

Since writing an earlier review in which I outlined 7 steps necessary to authenticate the "Gaga girls", I can now report that my own young lady (Yokia) in China failed to pass the final step- the face to face meeting either in China, NZ or via Skype. So I have to say, in that case, along with the many others this particular girl was a fake. Even when I made her jealous by starting another online relationship with a QQ girl, Yokia refused to break cover, always insisting the beautiful woman in the photos was her. There seems no way you can make them confess to who they actually are. (I know this is no surprise to many of you out there). Note also that Gagahi has had a facelift and in the new version it seems they have reverted to the old policy of having you pay for every message (though I'm yet to completely confirm this because I spend little time on the site). In my experience all the Chinese DS are the same, including Aydate, CMdate, Lovezone6 ie. The girls are not real. You know, the best I've been able to come up with after 4 years of Chinese SMS is a 17 year old from Guizhou, and I met her on QQ.

I was directed to this site from other dating sites by Asian women that spoke good English. Sites like Ashley Madison, Adult Friend Finders and match finder. They said they were more comfortable on GAGAHI. As soon as you get there you find out that from them that all of a sudden their linguistic area of their brains have failed and they can no longer speak English. So like an idiot i began buying translation packages. They will talk for hours, schedule meetings that never occur and then your hot. Several Asian beauties and Caucasian beauties want to talk to you. I am 58 yrs old and have a PhD. I fell for all of it, translation packages, money sent for emergency situations and others. My ego kept me going for 2 months, 20-30 last minute cancelled dates; all the things you can imagine. Then there are the managers of the site. It's a franchise deal, they have several sites. I counted where they rip off your number of characters you. Use. They purposely have a way to mess up your typing input so your words are Miss spelled so you have to retype and you are charged. When you complain they throw you a few credits but they also begin to cause more difficulties on your site.
You will notice the women never tell stories of themselves, they answer in short sentences with few words. When pressed about the area of your city they live in you know they have no real facts of stores, roads, parks and other things that everyone knows about where they live.
The best thing and most embarrassing thing personally is that i have traveled to many countries and almost every continent. Not as some rich guy but as an adventurous broke kid in my twenties. Regardless of where i went, in every developed country i was always amazed ay how every country teaches and expects their kids and adults to speak English as a secondary language. I never had a problem any where. So when i started to notice women from countries like Sweden, Germany, South American countries showing up on the site wanting to meet me but gee whiz they never learned English but they had learned one of the most complicated languages in the world,, Chinese, they needed you to buy translation packages. I'm embarrassed to say i spent thousands of dollars over a 2.5 month period and i never met a single woman physically. As you can tell by the length of my review i have tremendous experience with GAGAHI and i am tremendously pissed at them but more so at myself for being so stupid. STAY AWAY I DONT CARE WHAT YOUR EGO TELLS YOU THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM. WITH CROOKS THAT MANAGE THE FRANCHISES AND COLD HEARTED $#*!ES (some are probably men you have no idea) THAT KNOW HOW TO HOOK AND MILK A MAN AND A WOMAN ALSO

This is the worst application I have ever used. The female users on the site are all fake. They go to other dating sites and invite me to gagahi, let me pay and say that they can meet, but never, never And that woman turned out to be a man, which is their usual trick. Never use gagahi

Most of these type of sites spend a lot of time on fake reviews. Believe the one stars. I was on another social media site when contacted by a fake profile. I was told to talk to "her" on GaGaHi as it had translation. Nowdays i check out reviews for nearly everything. Another review site had exactly the same scam getting you to the site because it was easier. Needless to say when questioned the fake profile disappeared.

I found GaGahi by chance. I read what they did and thought it sounded great. Meet women from around the world, and GaGa would translate. The first thing I noticed was it was very expensive. The second thing I noticed they all said many of the same things or words which led me to believe they were being coached. They would also try to engage you in long conversations. I put two and two together and began to realize they were probably making money for themselves and GaGa. I became very close to one girl supposedly from France. She claimed to be a doctor. Namely a Gynicoligist. I eventually became suspicious and casually asked her where she went to medical school and what a historectomy was. It took a very long time to respond. When she did she said she did not want to respond because she felt like I was investigating her. Because of the expensive of nature of the site, I asked her if we could use Google Translate which is a free app. She claimed to not want to add another app. To her phone. A lame excuse. I even offered to buy her a new cell phone which she did not want to do. I began to realize she probably was making money on GaGa and did not want to change. Then at one point she asked me to give her $200 in gold to buy something. That was the last straw. Other things I noticed was that girls would reappear under a different name. I am not sure why but it was dishonest. Sometimes I felt I was talking to a different girl with the same face on a different day. Like their words and the way they said things were very different. I would strongly recommend someone to stay away from this site.
