The support is a joke and the guarantee that you will receive your money back too, I would recommend you to stay away from their service
If you've been ripped off by G2A then beware! There money back guarantee is bs... Seller sold me a bad key and has yet to refund me, 7 weeks have passed an support is useless. Even after I sent proof from Microsoft support that the seller sold me a bad key. G2A wants me to make a POLICE report on the seller before G2A will give me a refund... WTH!
All while the seller continues to sell on the site... G2A is a big scam and I will make sure everyone I can is informed! I just reported it to PayPal and will get my refund that way..
G2A+ is a scam. They advertise money back guarantee but they require impossible docs for it. Beware.
G2A supports scammers! Key was used, i sent the proof, everything is clear but g2a asks for police report in order to start the investigation! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM G2A!
G2a is not legit I ordered a game but didn't know it was a Europe key at first when I learned it couldn't be activated in America I reached out to g2a they told me they couldn't refund my money back & that they was not the blame but instead they sent me a list of bs games that was no where near comparable to what I bought they told me to choose two of the bs games which My fingers couldn't even bare to click on such horrible games like that talking about choose two I can't even choose 1 if u truly felt like you're not the blame u not gonna give someone two free games but I'm cool just wanted to let everyone know be careful when buying from g2a
I bought a couple of games on g2a. Some of them worked and some not. But the worst thing is that the g2a support protects the seller more than the buyer and thus provides them with a plattform where they can scam people.
Buying things on g2a is like the lottery. You never know what you get.
Scammers are the main thing on this site - do not trust them with your money you will never see it again the money back guarantee is closed the instant you open it with some random reason then you cannot open it again and they will ignore any messages you send. Also now get alot of junk mail (gmail deals with it) but is no doubt from using this site.
Very complicated registration of items on Steam. Did not work. I asked for the purchase amount back. G2A has not responded. G2A is not recommended in any way.
Bought a game here that was supposed to be delivered via steam gift. My account wasn't able to receive the game and I wasn't given a option to use another account. Money gone and no game. 4 weeks off mailing with g2a, no results. Phony money back system and they don't acknowledge the law off 14 day cooling off period on online purchases. Scammers!
They signed me up to G2A Plus without any knowledge or consent, and without even being signed in to my account. I made sure the G2A Plus offer was toggled off and didn't show the extra amount making my purchase more expensive than elsewhere. I managed to reproduce it in a simulated transaction with it not showing any added G2A Plus whatsoever.
My bank's card verification was for a single transaction of the product's amount, with G2A Plus costs taken in a separate transaction that I never authorized. On top of that, it is a subscription, so they would have kept taking my money had I not noticed.
They also saved my card while that was never authorized. The checkbox was specifically left unchecked, also because it's a temporary card anyways.
And they signed me up to their newsletter while having never signed up to such, and with it completely turned off in my account settings. It doesn't even have a working Unsubscribe button on the page they redirect you to.
Support says to not be able to do anything, not even add the tiniest bit of credit to my account for their numerous and most definitely illegal mishaps.
They used to be fine, but all these antics means I'm done with G2A. I urge truly everyone to be most aware, and to use any of the other, similar marketplaces instead.
I've used G2A several times previously no issues. I had a friend who wanted me to come back and play Destiny 2, so they ordered me Beyond Light Deluxe. A month after the game somehow gets taken off my steam and all that's left is a notification that someone refunded the key and the item has been removed from my account. Can't contact the scam seller cause why would a scammer reply. 7 days later I try to the money back guarantee which I get replied to saying I need to go to a police station and file the theft and get official paperwork proving this and then they can start the refund process. I have never seen a practice like this and they did it cause 90% of people will just move on. So in closing, yeah it's just a scam website and you can't trust even high rated sellers.
I bought a digital game and received a dlc for the game instead. G2A and the seller continuously refused to refund me my money even though the code was never used. Selling items as one item and then being another is completely fraud, luckily I wasn't spending a bunch of money. This is the worst company I have ever done business with and will pay full price for something before I will ever give them my business again. Use CDKeys or any other business and never consider this company ever.
Yip, it's a scam. Wish I read the reviews before trying to buy. Try buying a game on line when nothing happened. No login information, no passwords would be accepted nada.
Ive bought a Boombox2 JBL 319 Euro. Ive recieved a fake (max 400mg! Instead a 8 Kg speaker!) Object! After 3 Month i becam a 299€ refund! But not the way ive paid (on my bank account) on my G2A account. And its not possible to give 299€ back!
Dont trust them!
Worst buy ever
Long story short.
I've bought multiple keys from them over years, if you only buy from high sellers with good ratings you'll be fine (I guess now). But the first time I didn't, I got scammed.
Basically the seller bought a key from Bethesda, sold it to me via G2A and then asked for a refund from Bethesda, 2 days later my key is invalid. I've followed procedures, reported the issue and contacted seller through G2A which tried to extort me to change my feeback from negative to positive otherwise he won't pay me which I refused, then he told me upfront that he won't pay me jack **** and wished me "good luck" getting the money back from G2A which sent me a template response, they're still ignoring me a week after it happened, support is miserable, they don't care about you once they got their money. I opened refund case through paypal and they didn't answer once in 9 days since opened.
The type of behavior the seller showed shouldn't be accepted but it seems they're more than tollerating it. I'm done with them after this interaction.
Moral of the story: Buy it from the game publishers directly, Steam or other marketplaces you trust. Also this was only my experience, but take note.
Still haven't got my refund.
I have bought multiple game keys off of G2A and I was satisfied until recently when I found out how easy it is to scam someone on there. You can only get a refund from G2A if you file a police report. Recently, I purchased a $42 game key for the seller to give me a faulty key, admit to it, and give me a second faulty key. Both keys had been used already and I sent him screenshots to prove it. He then started to laugh at me and accuse me of already using the key. I contacted Ubisoft support, the actual developers of the game, to see if the key was faulty or not and they stated that the key doesn't even exist. The seller is actually a scammer that has lied to me.
Unfortunately, I can't do much as a police report costs $50 or more to file a report and G2A will not do anything about it until I have an official police report turned in and stamped. Basically, I would have to spend more money in order to get my money back. If you buy from this place, keep in mind that you can be scammed very easily and G2A helps the scammers out rather than the customers.
Bought a windows 10 key from here and would not activate, called Microsoft to confirm, they confirmed it as an invalid key already in use. Company has been rude and is fighting to not refund my money! Stay away from these scam artists!
Purchased a key from a seller (Order **************) which turned out to be unusable, so I contacted the seller asking for a refund. When I didn't get a reply from the seller, I contacted G2A who replied that I could claim on their 'Money Back Guatantee' after seven days.
So, today (six days after initial key purchase, and two days after first G2A contact), I went to check if there are any messages from the key seller only to find my G2A account HAS been blocked. And, after contacting G2A to deal with the login issues presented by their G2A.com system, I am told to contact *******@g2a.com
Thr reply is entirely dodgy in itself, asking for photo ID (passport, driver's license, etc), handwriting, account user login, and bank with PayPal account details, along with any other accounts used in alias. Exactly everything fraudsters will ask for.
One, or two finalities can be taken from this,; that G2A are utter sh*te and will do their best to dissuade buyers from complaining - and claiming against their seller members upon the G2A 'Money Back Guarantee', going as far (if not further) than blocking buyers access to their accounts. Or (and) really are requesting extremely sensitive data protection information from the buyer member base, of which needn't be requested, as proof of account ID can be given through the two step verification instead.
Very dodgy activity at G2A.com
I firmly believe G2A to be entirely seller based, and highly biased in that favour, complicit in the prevention of refunding money from their seller members knowingly flogging unusable/fake product keys.
I also believe G2A.com to be non-compliant with GDPR.
The G2A website promises full customer satisfaction and full refunds. However, after selling me a bad windows 10 activation key, the seller refused to refund, and G2A refused to help or refund. G2A and their sellers cannot be trusted.
User's recommendation: Stay away as they cannot be trusted to refund on a bad purchase.
Answer: They claim to have a guaranteed money back system but don't buy into that. They don't. They don't even acknowledge the 14 day cooling of period on online purchases that is a law in the EU. So basically they are criminals.
Answer: Its a scam block ur cc and report fraud never go there again
