Buyer beware!

I spent 30-45 minutes on the phone ordering a table, chairs, and matching cushions. They assured me everything was in stock and I'd get it before a big party I was having in 2 months. 3-4 months later I received the table and 2 chairs. Come to find out, after spending $8000 plus the 4 chairs I ordered were not actually ordered. But they sent me their cushions! So now they tell me for the chairs I need to pay an additional $2500. I begrudgingly pay the money and they send the chairs. And they are the wrong Fing color. I've had nothing but incompetence and lies from this company.

Disappointing
August 15, 2022

I bought something by mistake, i called customer service, the lady on the phone immediately started pointing out i was not going to receive the full refund plus how lengthy the process would be.
They found every possible thing to reduce the refund (shipping, gift card) plus it took three weeks.
They seel good products but you better don't return it, otherwise, they will show how bad as a company they are.
I WILL NOT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN, PERIOD.

Well, they would if they could.
I just went to buy a pool floatie "on sale." It had a pretty print, but it wasn't much different from the one I bought at Costco ( nice price!) as far as its construction and materials were concerned.
Once I started to check out, the " sale" item had an additional $10 " fee" plus shipping and handling. It pretty much doubled the price of the sale item. No thank you.

I have succumbed to Frontgate's charms twice in the past. But I've been had. Their goods are foreign made and not the quality they appear to be in their catalogues.
And Frontgate's prices are outrageous. Shop around before you buy from them. The catalogues are slick- don't be sucked in by marketing. You're just aiding and abetting thievery.

I spent a lot of money on the large resort towels and bath mats. Washed them and had enough "fuzz" to knit three sweaters! After the wash they are still full of lint. When folding, my shirt was covered in lint. Washed in cold water and dried on low/delicate. Just awful!

Save your time, money and mental health––DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM FRONTGATE!
My delivery was 2 months late and customer service was just lip service all around. They don't care about their customers at all. The worst online shopping experience I ever experienced.

I asked for a FULL refund because after two months of waiting, I still haven't received anything and the delivery company NEVER picks up or responds to emails.

STAY AWAY! Read the bad reviews!

Absolutely horrible experience with this company. Ordered a custom sign with our address to display out front. Took over 3 months to get it. And guess what. Once the package came... It was empty inside! There was NOTHING! I have been in communication with customer support for almost 2 months now... with no help whatsoever. Hope my Credit Card company will give me the money back now.

NEVER AGAIN!

For this caliber of a company, who charges shipping fees and return fees for items WE already spent a good amount of $$$ on! They absolutely do not care about customer satisfaction. Clearly, they have this policy in place because they have too many items returned, which says enough! Pottery Barn, RH and other companies would never. If you sold quality products and guaranteed your items, then you wouldn't have to worry about charging your customers who aren't satisfied; they must NEED the money.
Never again will I recommend or buy from Frontgate.

Getting the Run Around

It pains me to have to give such a low rating to Frontgate, since I have bought products from them that I have enjoyed. But, this time it is different. On April 23,2022 we purchased a cafe table and four chairs from Frontgate. We waited weeks to hear something about their delivery. It seems they got caught up in a freight company called AIT that is hired by Frontgate. The only help I received was from a nice man at AIT that informed me the table was lost and so were the chairs. Eventually, the chairs were found, they were delivered, but they arrived broken. By this time it was May 25,2022. At this point Frontgate had not assisted us at all. We called Frontgate to tell them we wanted to cancel the order. The chairs arrived broken and the table was still missing at the freight company. Today is June 16,2022, and nothing has happened. The broken chairs still sit in our garage taking us space. The table has not been found. Frontgate has still not told us anything except have five or six of their assistants email us to say they were sending it to their Transportation Department, their Management Team, or AIT is experiencing delays, someone will contact you in 24 hours, etc. etc. Etc. We are still waiting to receive our refund of over $900 that they have been sitting on since April. I am shocked that Frontgate has such EXTREMELY POOR MANAGEMENT skills. Don't purchase from this company. They have VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. No one has called or emailed to tell us what is going on. The Management Team, the Service Team, the Traffic Department, etc., none of them have told us anything. We just keep getting excuses. They can't even pick up the chairs in our garage. They need their Traffic Department to research why our chairs have not been picked up. Everything will take 24 hours, 3 business days, two to four days, - it goes on and on!
So today I still have 4 broken chairs in my garage, one missing table that I don't want anymore, and my money not returned. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

I bought a bath mat which I sent back via an exchange for a different color. I never received the new bath mat or a phone call. I paid $92 for the bath mat and they gave me a $72 credit. When I called they said I should not ever use the exchange function which is on their own form. They said they deducted $20 for shipping. I just wish they had made it clear initially. If there is any chance you want to return an item I suggest you find a store that makes returns and exchanges easier and does not charge $20 per per item you return

I purchased several very expensive Belmont Bath accessories, toilet tissue holder, shelf, and mirror which carry the FRONTGATE label and printed on the back of the items. The warranty is for one year but Frontgate could make an allotment for a gift certificate or compensation for an out of warranty purchase. I purchased the products to last a lifetime and my tissue holder fell apart after the warranty period. Frontgate conceals the fact that the product is MADE IN CHINA claiming that they cannot reveal the manufacturer due to confidentiality contracts. I would confirm the country of origin for any FRONTGATE product before purchasing as a result.

Customer service agents answer the phone so unprofessional.( How can I help you? - no mention of the store they work for.it is bizarre.). I had a package that was marked delivered but it was not.my ups every guy told me to contact them so they could file a claim and investigate. They were unwilling to help me at all. Other companies look into these things for their customers. Very displeased.and the product Ia ordered of course is no longer available in initial.
Also ordered a pet residence Thar was delivered to us used, damaged and missing pieces! Quality and cs has gone down hill. A real shame.

I'm taking time to write this review to hopefully help someone experience this company's wrath towards people. They way they treat people is absolutely disgusting. They draw you in with beautiful pictures like a mouse is being drown to the trap with the cheese and them crush you with months of frustration. You will not get your order when promised for months. Then when it arrives it will more likely be damaged. Then they will order again and make you wait im line again. It has been 4 months and I still have no answers
I could cancel the order sure. But after waiting for so long with partial order delivered it feels terrible

Frontgate loves to send out "coupons" to their "loyal" customers. Here's the problem--the 25% off code really doesn't work, and their customer service is nonexistent when you call them to straighten it out. If you try and use one of their codes, they will bend you over on shipping charges. The bottom line is these folks are not interested in trying to save you any money--they will make their money one way or the other, so beware.

No replacement bulbs
November 15, 2021

We spent 400$ on christmas garland with lights and when we tried to order replacement bulbs that were burned out after 3 years Frontgate did nothing to help get replacement bulbs
You are much better off going elsewhere and stringing your own replaceable lights on the garland.
Elsewhere would be much cheaper also

Frontgate
October 17, 2021

Frontgate recently delivered the second part of a two part furniture delivery. The second part was incomplete. Their customer service is totally unresponsive. They are unable to deliver the missing part. I am having to dispute the charges and request they pick up the furniture. We will see if they can get their act together and pick up the furniture

Holiday Catalog Scan

We love the value of Frontgate products and were looking forward to ordering some new Christmas decor for the 2021 Christmas decorating season. We received a Frontgate Catalog with a 20% discount offer and including multiple holiday decorating items. After not being able to utilize the 20% discount on the website, we called the 800 number to have a sales associate assist us in making our order. Once placed, the associate informed me that "holiday items are excluded from the 20% offer". If that is the case, then why include them in the 20% Off Catalog?
We accept that Frontgate is on the expensive side, but the quality trumps the price. However, to falsely advertise a discount then exclude the items from the discount has made me rethink my decision to order from this company in the future. BEWARE FUTURE BUYERS!

I returned an item to Frontgate. I had used a $50 gift certificate and $24.97 charge on the item.
I sent the item back for a refund. They informed me that they were sending me a gift certificate for the total return. Three weeks later I call them to ask where my gift certificate is. They credited the Gift Certificate of $50, but out of the $24.97 I sent in, they only credited me $4.69. Of course they hoped I would forget about it since I didn't have a paper copy in my hands. They told me to just remember I had a credit in my account. Out of the $24.97, they took out $10.20 for return shipping (fair) and $9.91 to print the label! What? I think this company is not worth ordering from. Compete rip off.

We ordered a fairly expensive table and chairs from frontgate in April 2021. When did we receive it? August 12th, 2021. I assumed with the price tag, they would have brought the table and chairs assembled. I was incorrect in that assumption. It came in about 50-75 pieces including chairs. Who knows if the material they're using is even legit.

Palermo Sofa Quality

We bought 2 of the Palermo (Item #*******_BRO) in 2014 and the metal tubing under both of them is broken in 3 places on each. They are unusable by any adult and Frontgate has offered only a gift certificate for 10% at there store. So much for the 10year frame warranty. I'm the heaviest person in the family at $195 lbs and we've never had more than 4 people on it at one time and the couches have always been indoors. I have added wood legs to the couches but the cushions are way too thin for a product at this price point and you feel the broken frame through them.
