Unexpected extra charges and very poor customer service.
I have bought more than seventeen shirts over two separate orders from French Crown and have been very disappointed on both occasions(18 Nov 2023 &. 2 April 2024. I have found French Crown to be untruthful in their dealings with me with very unhelpful Customer Services dept. Emails are hardly answered or are inadequately responded to and the company's WhatsApp number takes over:40 minutes and several calls to be answered, if it is answered at all. I found the Customer Service personnel both unprofessional and unhelpful and both the so called rewards and points offered are just a gimmick as they are difficult to use, I failed to use up mine. The company does not warn you that you will incur duty and tax charges when your order arrives in the UK, and after you have paid these charges you find that it was not worth it at all purchasing the items from French Crown in India. They were rude in their response to me when I asked as to why I had not been alerted about possible tax/duty charges when I was placing the order. I am extremely disappointed with French Crown and cannot in good conscious recommend this company to anyone. I certainly will not be buying anything from them again.

I love the way the t-shirt fits, for my personal likes, I always get a size bigger because I really enjoy having room instead of slim fit t-shirts. The material is nice and feels light-weighted!

Ordered products on 27/12/22, received on 09/01/23 - a long wait, but I knew they were coming from overseas. When the order finally arrived I was shocked by the appallingly bad quality of all the items. The suit was all creased up, terrible quality material and a very bad fit. The company's website boasts a "no questions asked return policy" with "free returns within 60 days" and that all one has to do is contact them via online form, email or Whatsapp and request a return, and after receipt of goods a refund will be processed within 48 hours. Well, let me assure you, there is no evidence whatsoever that the company abides by its returns policy. I submitted a request to return for a full refund on the day I received the order (09/01/23) and to date this request has been ignored, despite numerous attempts on my part via email and Whatsapp to elicit a response. I then went ahead and returned the order on 14/01/23 and I have confirmation of receipt of the goods at their UK warehouse on 18/01/23. I have since had no confirmation of receipt of the return, nor that the full refund will be made. To make matters even worse, I have received an invoice from Fedex for import charges, amounting to about one third of the total order. At NO POINT during the ordering process is the buyer made aware that extra charges will be imposed; the statement is simply made that all orders over 49 USD benefit from free shipping, this applying to all destinations worldwide. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS VERY MISLEADING STATEMENT. Please do not make the same mistake as me and please avoid any temptation to to place an order with this company. TAKE NOTE of the message posted by Trustpilot regarding the number of fake reviews for this company that have been removed - further evidence that it cannot be trusted. I have submitted a claim via Paypal for a full refund, as I have had no evidence that an acceptable solution will result from communication with the company.

Excellent shirt, excellent material that does not show through, the perfect size, I am a size M, that same size I ordered and I look excellent. The only drawback is that the sleeves come good but not bad. In short, I'm going to buy again.
