It's easy to use and a good alternative to what's currently out there--it's more personal so you're not interacting with hundreds of people but just more closely and privately with your friends or people you meet. The interface is easy to use and very clean and I love the lack of ads and games--there's less to distract, and you don't have people sending you annoying game requests all the time. Unlike a lot of social networking sites its very nice because it doesn't have a ton of extra stuff but lets you really focus on communicating and interacting with friends on a more personal level to "break the ice."

Freeze Crowd seems like a very exciting new, and free, social network. Don't expect another the same old thing, because this is not that!

Of course, you can connect with your fellow college classmates (or alumni) that you know, but it's also set up to facilitate connecting with new people. This can be a great way to network - as connecting with people you don't know on other social networking sites is typically shunned.
