Subscribe With a Gift Card Not Your Credit Card

I subscribed to FoxNation last year but only logged in about 3 times. I chose to let my subscription lapse since I didn't want to renew it. "Fox Digital Services" renewed my subscription anyway. Contacted them and told them I did not want to renew for a service that I don't want and don't use. Their response was essentially "too bad." The renewal is automatic, buried in the fine print of their boilerplate agreement. I'm stuck with this for another year at the cost of $64.99. My case number is #******* but they have stopped communicating with me. I can't tell you much about the service content but their business model and consumer relations stink. If you do decide to subscribe to this service, use a gift card and not your personal credit/debit card. I've attached a copy of the response they sent to me.

Subscription renewal

First, when I originally purchased the subscription as a gift, they were offering a discount but there wasn't anywhere to claim it. Once the subscription was purchased I was told by customer service that they couldn't apply the discount. Now they have renewed the subscription and when I try to cancel, they will only let me cancel as of December 2021! Next year! I asked for a prorated refund and was told they won't.

Cancellation policy

I canceled Fox Nation on 11/30/2020 at 7:30pm. I received a message stating "we're sad to see you go". I was charged on my credit card on 12/18 in the amount of $69.70. I received the same message "we're sad to see you go" along with the cancellation date of 12/19/2021. I want it canceled now with a refund. I have been told that is not possible,

Fox Nation charged me $64.99 for annual renewal. I was not aware I was on auto renewal. When I tried to cancel the subscription and have them send me a refund. They said it was too late, I had to cancel prior to the renew even though I have not used the service for 11 months. They refuse to refund my money. I do not recommend anyone to subscribe to Fox Nation. Very Poor customer Service.

First of all I was one of the biggest fox supporters out here I am disabled & home most the time. I watched 24/7. But when they turned liberal on November 3rd I BOUNCED! Well then I cancelled my subscription and kept seeing these morons trying to hold on to my money & charge me anyways. I TOLD THEM GET THIS CRAP OFF MY CREDIT CARD NOW, I spoke to a guy named jesus & He all but begged to have me keep the service oh I'll give you a few months at 99 cents. Look I don't want this crap if it free! SO FOX Alitte advice for you! YOU DONT CHANGE OR FIX WHAT ISNT BROKEN! I LOVE HANNITY, TUCKER, PETE HEGSETH, JUDGE JEANINE, & LAURA INGRAHAM

Poor customer relations

I watched very little of Fox Nation the first year Nov 2019- Nov 2020 so when it came up for renewal I cancelled the subscription in Nov 2020. Fox charged my credit card anyway and when I asked for a refund because I had cancelled I received a reply from customer service I could only cancel within the first 10 day trial period in 2019 for a refund and 10 days had passed since it was now almost a year later. ##@#@! I replied I wasn't talking about the 2019 -2020 year but the upcoming 2020-2021 year - and no further response to the refund. Instead I received a message I could still watch through Nov 2021 even though I had cancelled.

What trickery is this, follow the free trial until they (Fox) bait and switches for. 5.99 subscription you can not cancel. That is stealing. Do you seriously think this is how you win customers? You have destroyed the trust I gave you.

I recently signed up for the monthly Fox Nation package which states that it cost $. 99 for the first month trial period. However, it has been ~ 3 days and they have already deducted $. 99 twice. When I used "live chat" the first time the representative assured me that this would be remedied. However, it was not fixed at all. I used live chat 2 more times those chats claimed that I had never been double charged. I made a phone call to Fox Nation's helpline. The Fox representative again reassured me that this had been resolved. My bank St. Mary's Bank confirmed that I had indeed been double charged and that these charges were valid. Note 1) Fox admitted that they had made a mistake, 2) Fox denies that there ever was a double charge, 3) the Fox phone representative confirmed that I had indeed been double charged and the issue would be resolved. The double charge still exists. Fox "fixed" this by canceling my account with less than two hours' notice. In conclusion: I have been charged $1.98 cents less than 3 days of service. I asked the last Fox Nation representative if Fox was dishonest or just incompetent, he declined to answer :). LOL Have a great dau Mike

A blue-screen advertisement kept coming up while watching online. I kept clicking "I don't want a free month" as they kept pushing for an annual contract. The advertisement kept popping up when I would change video links and after the third time clicking what I though was the "I don't want a free month" turned out to be an "immediate" charge with no "are you sure" type of follow-up page. It was an instant charge of $64.99 and my bank sent the notice to my phone. I went to contact yeup you guessed it, "chat" and communicated with a so-called name "Aide M." I told her about this evasive advertisement issue and she simply replied robotic in her pre-copied/pasted responses. Just so you know I was on the $5.99 monthly plan. Her response was "Please cancel so we may further review your account for a refund." She also added "Aide M (9/22/2020, 11:33:17 AM): I do apologize for any inconvenience. I am not able to downgrade your subscription." I kept asking them what is their time line on the refund process after the cancellation and she ignored my question and cut me off by ending the chat. So bottom line, reading all the reviews I see many have not received their refund. I will utilize my bank of course while canceled just in case. A BBB review has also been created on their website as well. This organization needs to be accountable for all the fraud activity and errors on their part. Please go to the BBB site and type in Fox Corporation and insert your Fox Nation review there.

App is poor quality

Content is interesting and informative... however the app is obviously very poorly designed and has multiple problems. So, you have about a 70% chance of watching content each time you connect. Sometime the app will not load; sometimes the app hangs multiple times while trying to watch a segment; sometimes the audio from another Fox Nation program is playing simultaneously while trying to watch another. I have no problems with other apps such as Netflix and Amazon Video. I have contacted the help support people three times and there "assistance" is useless. Again, content is good quality and informative but app is very troublesome.

A lot of good content

Lots of historical content. Signed up as an add on with my cable provider for a very small fee. I've been using this app more than my Netflix and Hulu subscriptions. Sign on was simple and works the same way Netflix and Hulu does, through a code entered on your phone or tablet. Have had no problem with streaming, no technical issues, so I was surprised others have.

I was excited when the website started and even though I was broke and unemployed I signed up excited about gift for signing up. I have never received, when I have called they opened and closed ticket within a minute. And I reached out several times. Also the website way too hard to go through. So until I receive the gift promised I will not sign up again. Don't believe them when they say you will receive something when you signed up

Disappointing
August 4, 2020

I've tried Fox Nation several different times, each time hoping they have fixed their flaws. It doesn't look as though they have. It's sketchy at best. You can be watching a show and at the 30 min. Mark it cuts off, even though the show is not finished. After the length of time they have been trying to get subscribers, there is no reason they couldn't have worked out their issues by now. And why does Fox Nation bill iTunes for my subscription? The whole thing seems questionable.

Very Bad Streaming

We were very much looking forward to viewing the content on Fox Nation but the streaming was absolutely horrible. I cancelled after one day. It was the worst streaming I have ever attempted to access. I couldn't find any customer service contact to address the issue. That was a bad sign.

We were very disappointed.

Fox Nation has the worst customer service ever. I cancelled my trial subscription on their website. The next month I was charged for full month. The only way to talk with someone was via chat. They would not refund my money. I only watched 1 show. Total ripoff.

I started out trying to change my email address - simple enough right?- but no I can; t change it because their software does not support it. Then I wanted to cancel my subscription but was not able to cancel and get a refund. No refunds even though I just signed up last month so now I have 2 years of fees paid. There is no phone number to call for support. After several attempts to have a chat, I finally had one and they cut me off in the middle of the chat. Clearly a zero star from me even though I had to give it at least one
