The repeats are ridiculous- why no new episodes of what seems to be any show? I had been a big fan & learned a lot watching chefs cook, but not so much anymore! Stop all the games & competitions & get back to chefs teaching something!
It is mostly just boring, tired reality competition shows. There isn't anything but Chopped, Next food network star, all boring shows. I miss the halloween specials by Martha Stewart, the thanksgiving specials by Alton Brown and even Wrapped. Every time I'm feeling nostalgic and try to give food network another chance, there is a dumb cake wars show. I'll stick to youtube.
Watched numerous Chopped episodes. Appears as half and half bar cooks and few low end chefs are given ridiculous bizarre ingredients that Just DO NOT go together. When you place the misfit ingredient to the side you end up chopped out. Not Fair, and Not interesting. Very Poor plate review, sometimes the judges do not even provide consistent feedback on the chopped plate. Just watched the Italian older man loose first round, among the 3 other competitors even though the judges only said his dish was delicious.
Not Fair, total BS!
Just watched a Chopped Ultimate Champions episode where this poor girl used sympathy and pity to win a cooking competition. Her desert was a complete disaster and the other guy blew her away. The reason he didn't win is because he didn't have a "plight". You want to help people in need, give money to charity. If you want anyone to take your show serious take the emotions out of your decision and bring some honesty into your "competition".
150 back to back episode Diners - Drive Ins - blah blah. Can't the producers create NEW content? All the talent in the US and they produce the same #@$% over and over and over. Spring baking championships. It used to be good but then someone decided to have absurd challenges. Who cares if someone can create a cake using tree bark. Have meaningful challenges that audiences can relate to. The talent has also gone down. Overall the Food Network has crashed. It's become awful
Hi Food Network team,
It makes me extremely sad, concerned and disgusted with the shows that are based around eating for "sport"... for example Man vs. Food.
There are so many people in the US and worldwide that are starving, and the fact that there are programs where people are challenged to eat a 20 pound burger for example is terrible.
I know that this review may not change anything but I want you all to know why I do not watch your network anymore.
Thank you for your time.
I like her and her 30 minute meals but when she has her husband on the show I have to turn it off. He is so obnoxious and full of himself! The fact that he allegedly cheated on her/ had affairs makes me dislike him even more. How she puts up with him I'll never know, but his personality makes watching her shows unbearable.
Seriously, what do you do when your ratings are sinking? Show some boobs. So pathetic and I'd like to think Giada is better than that but clearly not. Sick of watching a nice show and then having her boobs be such a gross distraction. I suspect a large portion of your audience is women. Do you seriously think we want to watch that. Just makes you look desperate for viewers.
I found all of my recipes I'm looking for on the foodnetwork. The best part is being able to watch the recipes actually being made on video. Much easier to follow a recipe if you can watch it first. Makes you really want to eat it too!
Very helpful site. The pictures are really nice and gives you a good idea of what the final product can look like.
Love the fact that there are so many reviews on the recipes as that is a major way I seek inspiration on tweaking the recipes!
I bought this subscription a couple of weeks ago as a Christmas gift for my Mom and she already received it! And, it's GREAT! She LOVES it. The magazine has everything in it from easy recipes to interviews with stars and chefs. It has little articles on tips and tricks for your home and even "green" cooking and decorating ideas. I was super surprised how great the..
I used to enjoy the Kitchen they had a great variety.
But I literally cannot watch it anymore the hosts are just so full of themselves, I suppose its hard to stay humble when you are on your own show, but they have become obnoxious and quite honestly stupid and their behavior. I was literally watching the game day show right now and it's a Train wreck
My husband and I used to love to watch FoodNetwork. Lately you have been airing mostly reruns. Triple D, Beat Bobby Flay and when you air the kitchen it's very hard to watch. Sunny Anderson is very obnoxious and doesn't appear to have one humble bone in her body. She talks over everyone else and is very insulting and rude. She is obviously desperate for attention! When are you going to give the viewers something to enjoy and learn from like you used to?
Why do we have like 12 hours of Guy F shows. The 3 D's & 3 G's. You can only take so much of him. Does he own you guys? You have hours a day with just his shows. Can't we have some variety? There must other chef's out there to offer a show. If you guys don't change I will change my channel
I love watching The Food Network... however I am so tired of Alex. So she won a competition... a lot of chefs have won awards. Everyone acts like she is an automatic win any time she competes and she is. Even if her dish was the worst. She is also super arrogant and I have stopped watching all shows she appears on. Also with shows like Chopped... does anyone stand a chance if they are going up against her or any other judge? No... why would you even want to try? I have seen many chefs that should have beat the judges and there is always a reason why they didn't. So rigged... come on!
This must be the most popular food site and food network in the planet right now. It's definitely a worth to check out their site. Lots of food recipes you can try out yourself. Articles are very credible.
Why would you advertise a sick kid on kids baking championship? The curly head boy wiped his nose on his hand licked his finger and crouched over the mixer. I find that very dirty.
Judge Alex needs a serious attitude adjustment. She thinks she is the best chef around. She's ignorant not to mention a bad dresser! Her show at the supermarket is the worse ever! Why don't you give her and Guy the pink slip. Guy is always on. Tired of his stupid humor.
Katie Lee... It's not funny to always act like you have a disability. Quit trying to act cute by making yourself sound like a handicapped mouse. I would take up something like working with special education students if I was you. You would be able to understand them because we can't understand you. Please remove yourself from this already awful show.
Who's the hottest food network star? - I'm thinking hands down it's gotta be Giada. Rachel Ray has the more bubbly personality, but seems to have "let herself go" recently. Although her new hairstyle is paying dividends this season.
A close runner up is Sandra Lee -- too bad she can't really cook!
Can't believe how much this channel has gone downhill. Used to be good many years ago. Now just competition "Survivor" type mentality. They have run Chopped and Guy Fieri into the ground. Just lazy programming. Who wants to cook any of the dishes from those shows - NO ONE!
Answer: I agree! So boring. I used to try.to cook recipes but it's gotten truly silly.
Answer: Get rid of by the rude Overeating NO MANNER PIG SUNNY ANDERSON!
Answer: Well if you want to be taken seriously then learn how o spell that is first! What is "standers"? Do you mean "STANDARDS"? And it is NOT "lier" it is "liar".
Answer: She yells every time she opens her mouth. Says "know what I'm saying..." incessantly, purports crappy recipes, talks with her mouth full, and attacks every concoction like a starved dog. What's not to like?
The company's reputation is increasingly tarnished by customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived declines in programming quality and a lack of engaging content. Viewers express frustration over repetitive shows, perceived arrogance from hosts, and a shift away from the original cooking-centric focus. Additionally, customers report poor customer service, citing unresponsive support regarding issues such as lost recipes. While some fans still appreciate select shows, the overall sentiment indicates a longing for a return to the network's foundational values of culinary education and inspiration, suggesting a need for significant content and service improvements.
