FoodNetwork used to be worth watching with the variety of cooks they had daily. Now it is nothing but stupid cooking with obnoxious ingredients that you can only find if you are a dumpster diver. I never watch FoodNetwork or the Cooking channels any longer.
The food network show "worst cooks in America" is AWFUL! It was decent in the beginning when it had Bobby Flay on it... but now its a cruel JOKE. Ann Burrell only likes to demean people, not teach, and now that they have paired her with the arrogant Tyler Florence its absolutely sickening! No wonder that pair is the only one who have lasted more than one season... they are so bad they could only put up with each other. Cancel that show or put some dignity back into it!
I love foodnetwork however all of a sudden it's not the same. I love The Kitchen guys grocery games and most of the single chefs. I will be watching less I hate the cake wars the kids bake offs etc. most people want to see recipes that can use. Food network has become the new game show station. Let's get back to ina garden the kitchen things that are useful. I'm looking for other cooking shows now let's bring the old format back.
My wife and I really enjoyed this series until the final show. Brooke didn't plate the ice cream and if you look closely it was still in the bowl she pulled it from the machine in on the counter when time ran out. Her final dishes were flawed as well. Just another ploy to get a new face and new show. They wasted hours of our time and never again!
We watch this show with the remote in hand. Whenever we can mute the frankly stupid comments made by both Jeff Mauro and Sunny Anderson we do. Mauro portrays himself as a flighty teenager and Anderson is a jive talking troll. Wish you'd dump these two wastes of screen time.
After all the requests for donations for no kids hungry, you start a program called ginormous or something like that. What a sinful & disgusting waste of food. Someone should be fired! How many kids could have benefited from that glutinous waste?
I love The Kitchen!, but lately why does Sunny have to be so loud, over powering, obnoxious, and down right annoying? Watching the look on the other chef's faces, I know they feel the same! I used to love watching her cook, telling her stories of growing up, etc., she was very relatable….what has happened?
Today May 20,2023 I actually turned the volume off to finish watching the show!
I love watching actual cooking now all you do for the most part is competition. Some of those shows are good but others are just too much.
What happened to Ina and Giada?
Not watching much any longer,.
Sunny Anderson absolutely ruins the Kitchen! She is loud, rude and obnoxious! She shouts over everyone else, eats like a pig! There are times that I have turned the show off because of her. She needs to tone it down!
This morning my husband and I watched the episode of Rule Breaking recipes. My husband never says anything negative about anything but she even had him yelling at the tv telling her to SHUT UP! She was at her most obnoxious. We were trying to figure out if she was off her drugs or on them. More obnoxious than usual. She honestly gave me a headache. She's still as gross with her eating. I thought maybe the network would get her to act like the rest of the cast. Normal. But they haven't. I know I'm not the only one that has complained. In fact this is the second time. PLEASE do something with her!
Food Network magazine used to be a good buy. Now that magazine is more than 50% ads and promotions for their products. Someone bought me a subscription this last year, and every single one had nothing worthwhile to make in it. I have often wondered why so many of the recipes on their website have four and five star ratings when the recipes are garbage. I now suspect it's because they don't put all of the bad reviews through. In the last four months I've run across several recipes that didn't deserve more than one star rating. So I put that rating in with my comments as to why and it said my post was being moderated but would be up shortly. The posts were never approved.
I used to watch food network for the cooking shows. I loved to watch them and then try it myself. Now all I see is competition shows that are very uninteresting. I do not care who can Beat Bobby Flay or make an edible meal out of a basket of ingredients I would never even consider buying. Also I love Guy But do not have to see him running around a grocery store or hanging out at his ranch talking to other chefs. You need to go back to your old format and forget the competition shows.
No more how fast can you make chicken feet and duck tail into a dessert please. What happened to shows that teach you how to cook? Why are there nothing but reruns on Cooking Channel? How many Triple Ds would anyone watch in a row?
I just wanted to send you a message, because I'm sitting here at 5:00 PM watching the children's baking championship on food HD and one of the commercials that came on was extremely inappropriate for my five and nine-year-old children. I understand you don't control all of the marketing that happens behind the scenes, however if you're going to play a children's show you should not have commercials that have to do with violent movies sexual innuendos and or violence. Please look into this thank you.
Boy has Chopped lost its focus. The judges are terrible, over dramatic and I hate to say this, but phones. They seem to be choosing judges that barely know what they are talking about. Who cares if a contestant doesn't choose the right plate to use. They are cooking food, not having their plates on the cover of Food and Wine. What happened to ingredients that you would actually like to eat? Bring back the original concept. Please! And by the way, enough of Guy.
In a since-deleted Sunday tweet, Henson wrote, "I hope Barron gets to spend today with whoever his dad is." How would your child feel you low life for a comment made like that! This shows how ignorant, rude and how deceived you are! Well this network just lost allot of people, we are now boycotting your station and your websites! Unless this person is fired! Yes fired! He doesn't deserve to be in public and on a cooking show that is now in politics? Wow, how low can your people go!

I use to love food network but no other that Saturday morning it does not seem worth watching. I miss the days of cooking shows that taught you recipes. Now it's hard to find those shows. It's all reality junk. No new talent running their own show.
This show has got to be fixed with Bobby winning 98.5% of the time, plus it gets boring with him winning all the time. They are not bringing in novice chefs and cooking their signature dishes where they are experts just to lose. And low and behold, Bobby wins each and every time. Plus I believe the judges know which Bobby's dish is since he likes spicy using the same peppers over and over. Guys, get creative and come up with a new show, not something where you know the winners before show even starts.
I enjoy watching the competition shows however white contestant usually win especially white males. You can 99 percent of the time know who will win if there is a white participate and a African American. Give others a chance or don't do the shows at all. I watched the Rachael Ray competition and the Asian young man should have won and it didn't happen. The white young man received his own show. If you are not going to be fair, stop playing with people's hopes and dreams.
I am disappointed that they have become very limited and seem to mostly play chopped of some form or another over and over again. It was my go to channel to learn something new or get excited about food now Its just feels repetitive and uninspiring.
Answer: I agree! So boring. I used to try.to cook recipes but it's gotten truly silly.
Answer: Get rid of by the rude Overeating NO MANNER PIG SUNNY ANDERSON!
Answer: Well if you want to be taken seriously then learn how o spell that is first! What is "standers"? Do you mean "STANDARDS"? And it is NOT "lier" it is "liar".
Answer: She yells every time she opens her mouth. Says "know what I'm saying..." incessantly, purports crappy recipes, talks with her mouth full, and attacks every concoction like a starved dog. What's not to like?
The company's reputation is increasingly tarnished by customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived declines in programming quality and a lack of engaging content. Viewers express frustration over repetitive shows, perceived arrogance from hosts, and a shift away from the original cooking-centric focus. Additionally, customers report poor customer service, citing unresponsive support regarding issues such as lost recipes. While some fans still appreciate select shows, the overall sentiment indicates a longing for a return to the network's foundational values of culinary education and inspiration, suggesting a need for significant content and service improvements.
