The company's reputation is increasingly tarnished by customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived declines in programming quality and a lack of engaging content. Viewers express frustration over repetitive shows, perceived arrogance from hosts, and a shift away from the original cooking-centric focus. Additionally, customers report poor customer service, citing unresponsive support regarding issues such as lost recipes. While some fans still appreciate select shows, the overall sentiment indicates a longing for a return to the network's foundational values of culinary education and inspiration, suggesting a need for significant content and service improvements.

Not funny. Not informative. Was like watching an Episode of Bevis and Butthead except not funny, not as interesting or informative. Was very difficult to watch the entire episode, but i did hoping it was going to get better, bit it NEVER did.
Whomever is doing your weekly, monthly or whatever program lineup is a complete idiot! Same shows, same lame repeat episodes ALL THE TIME! Really sick of Guy, Bobby, and that loud mouth Sunny Anderson.
Food Network is a multi million dollar Co. With cable, internet and other social media avenues, such as, Twitter & Facebook. Obviously you show case the best of the best, chefs & cooks. Such as. Guy Fieri, Ina Garten, Ree Drummond, Valerie Bertinelli, Trisha Yearwood and more. With plenty of new and up coming STARS all the time. Why are you charging to put recipes on your site? I have picked up another site that does not charge! Times are hard enough! Thanks, for what. What? I loved you site. Been loyal for years & years. I've had friends join your site. Sorry I'm leaving & my friends are leaving your site, for another friendly, free site! Would like to hear something back!
Sincerly,
Your loss!

You now have another new program on Saturday, "Mary Makes it Easy" where did you get this one? Another person who talks with her mouth full. The only person that has the proper manners and etiquette is Ina Garten,. She never talks with her mouth full and doesn't have to eat everything she makes we don't need to see that, we know if something is good by how people are making it we don't need a dissertation on it. Ina knows how to speak clearly with proper English she doesn't fall into your cookie cutter other Cooks who all have the same lingo when they speak about the food overused words such as delicious, yum etc. Do you think your viewers are that stupid that you have to dummy down like this. Maybe you should let these people be themselves instead of directing them to all be the same,. Apparently Ina Garten doesn't follow. Their unique personality is probably what got them the job let them be themselves not copies of each other. Good example The pioneer woman was wonderful when she first started out now you got her talking and acting like all the others. I stopped watching her a long time ago when she changed and so did a lot of my friends.
I love the show chopped but one of the major issues or areas of opportunities is their lack of diverse representation. From the staff to the actual chef participants, there's never enough representation. This lack of representation, specially black and people of color from a judging perspective allows for judging biases that prevent potential chefs from winning. Prime example, I just watched an episode where Martha Stewart was a guest judge and there was an Asian chef who prepared a curry dish with lamb and was voted off because her dish was "too spicy". To be honest, I think there needs a variety of judges representing various cultures and communities because their version of spicy levels could have been very different than the original judges just based off of cultural differences. Moral to the story, chopped would be even better to watch if they actually had judges from the black and brown communities and I know there's representation out there, there just needs to be a proactive effort to find them.
This show is silly! Don't like at all! I love the regular Spring Baking Championship show! They are professionals.
Watching Alex presenting or preparing food with her finger nail biting habit, is disgusting and makes the show unwatchable!
Yeh us too irritating to watch, hopefully she will be replaced so I can resume watching this formally great show.
You did the same thing with Rachael Ray; I instantly change channels when Guy comes on. What happened to real chefs? Also sick of only competition shows.
It was so obvious that the fix was in after Jaleesa had her "panic attack." It's been " Queen for a day" ever since. She should have been gone early in the show yet somehow her baked goods were unbelievably delicious! Romy was insulted repeatedly by having his creations picked apart. The last straw was having to bake against Dennis using sprinkles! How insulting but also obviously planned. They knew he'd have to leave as this challenge was vulgar and a slap in his face. Keep baking your beautiful creations Romy! We all know that you should have won! And to Jaleesa, you can't bake but hey, you knew that too when you had your "panic attack."
This rating is specifically for the Black History Month episode which I personally found absolutely insulting based on the generic ingredients provided to the African American Chefs. Any black home cook could have easily created a worthy meal with these items, yet Food Network felt the need to dumb down the ingredients for this particular episode with skilled, experienced African American Chefs. Please recognize and do better.
I mute my tv when Sunny's on Beat Bobby Flay. She's so exaggerating and obnoxiously loud. I feel for Katie Lee when Sunny's right next to her ear on The Kitchen. Yelling won't get you positive recognition. You don't have to be loud to be noticed.
Beat Bobby Flay is the most pompous show. He is overpaid and smug. I refuse to watch a show that is produced to further his arrogance.
Unfortunately the Food Network has been overrun by endless competitions.
Others feature businesses that serve over 100 people at a time. So the "recipes" are useless to most of us since they prepare food in huge vats.
Others, like "Chopped" feature ingredients that nobody in their right mind would use - or even be able to find - such as alligator, dried ants, or even rats. Who needs this?
In addition - many of the "hosts" of these shows are literally paid millions of dollars per annum to present us with hapless souls running around a supermarket looking for ingredients that begin with a certain letter of the alphabet. Ridiculous. And if they win, they have to run around the aisles looking for obscure products in order to secure their prize money. Dreadful.
One of the competitions features children - and the losers don't even get a lollipop as a prize. Just told they lost - and goodbye. One child burst out in tears. Who needs that?
And in the "Chopped" show - the winner gets $10,000, the other three contestants get a hearty handshake if anything. Are they that cheap that they can't give each of the contestants, say, $1000? The judges mostly have net worth of millions of dollars.
We need more shows which feature individual chefs or cooks making delicious recipes using ingredients that are accessible. The other stuff is unwatchable.
Boy has Chopped lost its focus. The judges are terrible, over dramatic and I hate to say this, but phones. They seem to be choosing judges that barely know what they are talking about. Who cares if a contestant doesn't choose the right plate to use. They are cooking food, not having their plates on the cover of Food and Wine. What happened to ingredients that you would actually like to eat? Bring back the original concept. Please! And by the way, enough of Guy.
I love foodnetwork however all of a sudden it's not the same. I love The Kitchen guys grocery games and most of the single chefs. I will be watching less I hate the cake wars the kids bake offs etc. most people want to see recipes that can use. Food network has become the new game show station. Let's get back to ina garden the kitchen things that are useful. I'm looking for other cooking shows now let's bring the old format back.
Tired of the show. I've been watching Chopped for years and I can count on my hands how many time a black person won.
I used to watch the food network constantly. I understand that covid didn't help seeing that most chefs tape from their home. The pioneer woman is horrible having her children tape she acts so immature. Miss shows like Ina Nancy and I do love watching Miss Brown. Guy seems to be taking over food network he's ok however there are lots of great chefs out there. Can Food Network kick it up a notch? Would like to add some new recipes to my collection. Thanks
She needs to go. She is absolutely annoying and the least knowledgeable one on there. How is she even still there? I can't stand her dainty stirring anymore or her stupid comments and. Orgasm like responses to stupid recipes
Viewer for years but Guy's DDD & Grocery Games only show families can watch without gay contestants peddling their lifestyle on Chopped, Holiday Baking and Christmas Cookie shows, etc. Enough already! Traditional families and children have been viewers for many years and have the right not to be exposed to it. If you are a contestant, act like one, but don't parade pictures of a lifestyle that is offensive to my family viewing it.
Answer: I agree! So boring. I used to try.to cook recipes but it's gotten truly silly.
Answer: Get rid of by the rude Overeating NO MANNER PIG SUNNY ANDERSON!
Answer: Well if you want to be taken seriously then learn how o spell that is first! What is "standers"? Do you mean "STANDARDS"? And it is NOT "lier" it is "liar".
Answer: She yells every time she opens her mouth. Says "know what I'm saying..." incessantly, purports crappy recipes, talks with her mouth full, and attacks every concoction like a starved dog. What's not to like?
