I requested to have my information removed and according to the site it would take 24-48 hours and 2 weeks later it's still there!

My actual review is ZERO.

As numerous others have discovered, the "flresidentsdirectory.com" so-called Opt-Out feature is fake and doesn't allow you to opt out. For privacy purposes, I want my profile removed AND it contains wildly inaccurate "Salary" and "Net Worth" information on it.

My understanding is FL Residents Directory has a connection with *, CEO and Director of *, a Canadian-based company. * is proponent of the "open internet," thus probably could care less when people want to opt-out. I tried directly contacting * with my Opt Out request and was told to file a complaint through a Google domain process. I've done that, with no luck. I also reported the website to the BBB, but the BBB received no response from the company. The BBB has rated FL Residents Directory an "F" - due to at least 37 other complaints not being responded to - surprise, surprise. Additionally, * Twitter doesn't allow for direct messages, so he's basically hiding from all the pissed off people who have tried to Opt Out. How many complaints will it take for this site to either comply with Opt Out requests or be shut down for non-compliance and for publishing false information? Their website claims that "all the information" comes from the FL Voter's Registration Database, but that is a LIE. The FL Voter's Registration site DOES NOT publish salary or net worth information.

They provide an opt out option but do not remove listings after you opt out. They are in violation of privacy laws and risk being fined.
