They are just a glorified preset agency, even if they see any photos that you played around with and have sent that to them, they just sync them around and that was what I have noticed. They rush the work by not editing it correctly for what you want from them.
I find you use more of the time with them every time, instead of just doing your work or finding a reliable editor for yourself.
The editor for yourself is key, when you use this place, it is a different editor every time. There is no consistency.
They offered a 12 dollar credit, but said it is "professional photographers only with bulk orders", even though it doesn't say it in the coupon details. They are advertising all over their site. Then have the nerve to ask you to pay, when the free trial credit is suppose to take care of it. Typical bait and switch tactic. Won't waste my time anymore with this company.
$45 for the first time. A wedding photo of my husband and I dancing 17 years ago. It had faded.
When they sent me the revision I was appalled at how poorly it was done. They "fixed" my husband's tie to gold and his ear was smeared.
I told them his tie was a soft peach and also asked them to remove the fire escape and light switches.
A simple cut and paste would do the trick.
They said they would need more money to do this.
Ridiculous! I could do better on an app!
Never again
I'd definitely recommend Fixthephoto presents, as there are many for free that you can use to save time when editing and I have actually purchased a few which is are extraordinary and helps the my images shine through :)
This is a review for https://fixthephoto.com/.
DO NOT get your photos edited through this service. I got 10 wedding photos edited removing mostly hair out of peoples faces and the photos have come back with half eyebrows missing and face distortion. I asked for a refund the first time they sent the photos back and they have since sent me 2 more edits of the photos still with the distorted faces and no refund. This cost me $300 Australian dollars. Not worth spending your money. You will find more amazing people who actually can do what they say on Etsy.
Contacted for a quote. BTW the prices they quote you on the website are not valid. A single photo with basic touch up on the website is listed as $2.00 but when you contac them they want $12.00 per photo or $30 per photo if they include multiple people. They at first were very responsive to all the sudden not able to contact them once i wanted to modify the order. Just save the time and energy and go elsewhere.
This product is just incredible! The tones and colors add so much depth to my images and make them pop so much more.
Out of the many sites and various different presets I have tried in the past this is definitely the way to go. Definitely recommend you try this product.
Thank you Fixthephoto!
On this site, I found what I needed - modern tinting for videos, sorted into thematic folders. For tinting sea, city and other landscapes, wedding videos. I haven't found anything better on the internet yet.
Had some professional family photos taken on vacation in Mexico. There were four photos with sizes ranging from 3.96-4.51 MB. The cost was $12 for each photo to do basic retouching of skin defects (bruises/scabs, rolls on the face, too much face shine as well as clothes wrinkles. They allowed a limited amount of revisions after the first correction and they also gave a 15% discount on the total costs. Their turnaround was very quick for each photo and they responded very quickly when first contacted. Overall very happy with their service. The only downsides were I was charged a little extra to fix one photo but it wasn't alot and some of my questions weren't addressed totally.
The prices are much higher than quoted when I inquired about retouching my wedding photos. Something like $25 per photo to enhance them slightly. I received a very rude and blunt email back after asking about the lower advertised prices. The nice looking website is misleading, please avoid and find someone local you can support.
This site used to do great work for reasonable prices. They now do mediocre work at astronomical prices. Work I had done before (literally, the exact same thing as my computer died and I needed the edit redone) in 2018 was $25. They came back with $50 9 months later--the exact same edits to the exact same photo.
I was at a photography conference and someone mentioned they'd asked for their 6 products to be grouped into a single shot (stock cosmetics on a white background) and they were quoted $95. $95! Sorry, that's not even competitive anymore.
There's too many editing shops to go through one that wildly fluctuates on pricing and quality, and has no interest in even trying to retain their previous clients with the courtesy of a price increase that is under 100%. It's crazy.
After my wedding I had lots of photos that needed retouching. Fortunately I found the website that helped me to improve all valuable moments of absolute happiness during the most important celebration. The result was really great. They did everything fast and qualitatively.
I emailed them for a quote to touch up a recent family photo. All I wanted was something a little nicer than what I can get out of photo editor on my iphone. I was shocked to be quoted $25 per photo, with no explanation.
Their pricing page quotes editing as follows:
* $2 for basic retouching (color, toning, light photo editing)
* $5 for pro retouching (colors brightening, beauty portrait fixing up, face and figure reshaping)
* $10 for extra retouching (changing background, changing heads, adding special features to face, figure, and skin, deleting strangers in the background)
* $25 for high end (digital drawings, creating comic pictures, fixing pictures with water / light / fire damage). Examples at this level show them adding things like unicorns, butterflies, wings etc. to the photo.
The Company quoted me $25 per photo just to clean up and enhance a simple birthday snap. Their prices and examples are misleading. Waste of time.
I have tried several photo editing companies at a much higher cost but have never been pleased.
I do my own editing but send all print orders through Fixthephoto before sending to printers. It's like having a big brother watching your back! I have had very good results for the past many years I have used them.
I placed an order for basic retouching and received an invoice approximately 24 hours later that was incorrect and needed to be revised. The incorrect services were applied and there were basic arithmetic errors in the price breakdown resulting in an incorrect total. Without going more detail, the entire process took one week of back-and-forth emails wherein, using broken English, they completely ignored what I was saying and sent me more links to the incorrect invoice. Eventually, I gave up and went elsewhere.
Honestly my 10 year old could edit a photo better than these lot! The work you see advertised is nothing like what you get in return. Dont get me started on the SPAM I got after signing up to their website. Confidential my $#*!! Every day I have a new friend request from their 100+ fake advertising workers on my Facebook account and their even trying to add my friends and photo clients. Ive reported them to the ICO for breaking GDPR privacy laws! Hope they get fined or shut down! They write so many bad reviews on other photo editing firms, trying to make out they are the better option. Shows what their like! After looking around on a few facebook posts, I found loads of bad reviews on them with the same complaints as mine. AVOID!
I presented Fixthephoto with several photos to retouch and add items to for simple backgrounds as photo manipulation. After building a relationship providing a steady stream of work for fixthephoto and quality returned photos, I was suddenly sent a canned e-mail message two times in a row after questioning why they couldnt take my last picture manipulation. They said "We are forced to decline the order because we are not able to complete your task". Apparently you can't send too big a challenge to Fixthephoto. They wouldn't even give me a quote. I would have paid double price for an attempt.
I needed a service to edit a family photo and the team at FixThePhoto did an excellent job - my final photo looks perfect! The cost was very fair, turnaround time was less than 24 hours and I highly recommend this company.
I presented Fixthephoto with the photo below scanned in 600dpi as requested. They said "This scanned copy is too small sorry, we are not able to work with it". I guess you can't send too big a challenge to them. They wouldn't even give me a quote. I would have paid double price for an attempt.
On this site, I found what I needed - modern tinting for videos, sorted into thematic folders. For tinting sea, city and other landscapes, wedding videos. Cinematic toning and a lot of necessary LUTs for all occasions.
For comparison, on other sites I usually came across old packs with several dozens of scattered unrealistic tonings not broken down by topic. Many of the toning here is free to download)). I haven't found anything better on the internet yet.
Fixthephoto has a rating of 2.4 stars from 53 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Fixthephoto ranks 15th among Photo Editing Software sites.
