I paid for a Facebook Ad and it doesn't fit on Facebook and no-one will get back to me. I guess I'm a slow learner because I then paid for some photoshopping, they make you accept the order to see it, which I did, and nothing was there. No one will respond and now I am getting "snarky" messages from the seller..."hey sister, anymore work, lol". A couple hundred bucks down the drain from me, avoid at all costs.
Ive spent close to 30K on Fiverr over 2 years. I use for ad design, craigslist posting and SEO stuff. You can get good deals, but you have to sift through a lot of bad sellers. The thing that pisses me off about fiverr is their management. I have so many problems getting a logical answer whenver there is a problem. Too many to list. My advice would be to copy and paste a detailed summary of what you want to many sellers and see what responses you get. If you have a problem, dont expect their idiot management team to help.
I paid $40 for youtube promotion and only got 100-200 views and 1-2 likes on my video. I asked for only a partial refund and the seller agreed. I got a warning from fiver that I was in trouble for trying to "cheat" the system.
Once your order is cancelled (due to the seller missing the deadline or other problem) you can't leave any seller feedback or reviews of service. Hence, only the good reviews of a seller are posted. This is a major drawback, as you can't get an honest idea of a sellers all-round performance.
Jimmygibbs did a good job on an eBook cover, but two months later when I asked him to do the paperback cover he missed the deadline, and did not incorporate any of my requests into the finished design. I had to use another cover. Very poor communication. Fiverr communication is difficult. Sometimes you have to logout and then login to reach a different part of their site.
Used Fiverr a few times and each time it got worse. Indian and Pakistani sweatshops mass producing offers for work. Even when finally finding a US based content writer or web designer one could tell right away they were in India. NEVER AGAIN!
They say you can get $5 if you invite friends. That's a LIE.
I invited many many friends and more than 10 friends BOUGHT gigs but I haven't got anything. They keep saying they are investigating but I kinda gave up. It's been a month lol
As it is cheap it is bad for freelancer and clients. Besides its terms of service for freelancer and clients are not good. They only knows how to take money (about 20%). If a client purchase a service at cheap rate, freelancer will be bored once and start working reducing work quality. He may find his service is ok but after sometime, some months or some years, the site will get the result of bad quality work. Besides as it is cheap, only less experienced freelancers work there mostly as this is good for them.
The seller Chris 2050 tricked me into giving my original audio for him to do animation for it. Once I gave him, he didn't do the animation, he claimed he did it, but when I asked for proof, he doesn't want to provide. I close my Fiverr account since then
Just like with any other service, you need to check who is working on your order. I've had cases when works were good, and I've also had cases when works were bad. So first check who you work with before placing your order. This is excellent value for this money.
What a shame £35. Quid and nothing, logo that was total crap then off into the system that lets the seller rip the buyer off. Take your money then hide behind the rules, which are there to help the seller do jack. I guess I'm the Ejut thinking I could get a logo for £35 quid
I even used the no 1 seller, twistedweb123.******* logos yea right ******* RIPs
Hope the site gets closed down soon
I ordered a custom logo for $5. It was to be delivered in 5 days. I was contacted by the designer, good communication, designed exactly what I wanted in the time said. Great deal for $5, I was very pleased.
As a seller, it really is a useless site. I have come to realize that. I have to mail stuff, so I get buyers cancelling before it arrives. So they get their stuff for free, nothing I can do about it. Plus, I get low reviews for no reason other than people feel like it. Worst of all Fiverr takes 20% off the top, and PayPal takes a cut on deposit. So, they ought to call it 4ver.com, or 3.92ver.com. Seriously, you would be better off watching porn than spending the time listing your gigs here.
Do NOT use this website. This website is a perfect place for anyone who wants to steal money from others. We ordered a website update from mali_jure_st. The money was taken, service never delivered, order marked as closed and delivered by seller. When we contacted customer support they said they can't do anything about it as the order was delivered and we contacted them too late. Great place for fraud.
First and last time I ever use this %^$ service. I had a horrible experience. I had a seller make a mistake on a amended order and I was charged twice. No biggie right. The seller cancelled the order and case close right. Wrong! To withdraw the money, Fiverr put me through hoops after hoops. The platform itself isn't user friendly and buggy. A real pain in the #$%^ experience.
I had a mentally unstable chick named TameraK flip out on my in a very unprofessional, unprovoked fashion because I had the audacity to criticize her crappy work on Fiverr. She falsely reported me for "abuse" and "rudeness" and Fivert did not do a damn thing about it but harass me. Do not do business with those Fiverr scum.
I wish it worked out. I paid them waited for a week for the picture and nothing. The artist came back three times about what it should look like. I was like guy you are the artist not me. I asked for a refund they said they would process it and it never came. I had to call my credit cad company to dispute it. I would avoid these guys as they have good intentions but very unproffesional
Fiverr.com is horrible for sellers. It takes about 3 weeks to withdraw money from any revenue you make. Also, Fiverr now only allows you to make 1 withdraw every 48 hours day. So basically Fiverr does everything they can to hold on to your money. They do it to earn interest on your money.
Must be a ponzi scheme. I placed and paid for order that promised source files for logo and business card. I was set up to 'serum_designer'. Serum_designer seemed to not understand simple requests for modifications. Never got it right. Never got usable file. Then serum designer asked for more money which was to be paid to a different company. Customer service is non-existent. My order was marked as complete before I received any design work.
I ordered these services on Feb 17,2022, and it is now April 3,2022. I received 50 comments, and I'm not sure they even came from this order. I received no traffic, and my search engine ranking is worse than before I placed the order. In fact, my site was listed Ezoic ad network, and because they said the traffic coming to my website was low quality, and bot traffic they kicked me off their ad network and demonetized my website which I was making $75.00 per month. So, not only did I get cheated on the service, but I also lost $900.00 a year on sales. This is the 3rd gig I've tried on Fiverr, and all three times I was cheated. I personally do not recommend using Fiverr for anything. I know I will never use them ever again.
Most of the bad experience on fiverr will not be mentioned because Fiverr will not post them. I higher a Professional editor and he didn't follow directions not once not twice but three times. Every time he turn something in it was the same video. He never change anythig and he thought he was going to get away with it. On top of that fiverr did not let me post my review on the seller. Fiverr doesnt care about the customer at all. Yes, I got my money back but I lost my time dealing with this seller. Will I get that back?
Answer: I used Fiverr for my company logo. The guy lives in Vietnam and speak minimal English. I paid for an upgraded package with an unlimited amount of revisions, 3 original logos, stationary and Facebook as well as Twitter page covers. What does unlimited mean if a revision takes 24 hours and each revision is correcting spelling mistakes or telling him you don't want a green dog in your logo, I want a natural looking dog. His response is "you choose font and gives you a pale old lady stockings colour dog" instead of a white Dalmatian with black dots or a brown German Shepard. In the end I used an online translator to translate my requests from English to Vietnamese. He told me to sketch something and he'd make something. If I could sketch something then I would do my own logo. The one logo that I liked was the one I gave him all my ideas for. All he did was put it together in the right format. I was so frustrated with his other two attempts that I said ok give me the first logo with stationary and everything I've paid for. I got the most basic design, no stationary or headers. Did I go through customer service? OF COURSE! Throughout this whole ordeal. I described every little detail. Each time a different person would reply and say "I can understand your frustration and I will contact him". Only to have him return with the same dog in orange or turquoise and every time customer service would spit out the same line "I can understand your frustration and I will contact him. We see he is responding to you within 24 hours so for us that means you are trying to work things out. I want my money back! Sorry we can't give you your money back. The seller has received his money and its up to him to give you any money back if he so chooses. It was a dreadful experience. I ended up using an online logo maker and I loved it. PLUS it actually cost less. I'm now doing my own website. If you have the patience then try to do it yourself. Do NOT skimp on your website. The way the world is run today you want your website and all social media presence to correctly reflect your quality. If at the end I'm not happy with my website I will go to a professional and pay what it costs. Hope this helped and good luck
Answer: I know I have to wade through a lot of questionable sellers to get a good one. Happy hunting. There are good ones out there though.
Answer: All I can say id Fiverr is the BIGGEST SCAM going. Had to dispute the charges through my bank to get the money back
Answer: Stay far away from fiverr. I paid a guy to do some work and proved with third party techniques they used bots for fake views to my site. Yet this guy had many many great reviews. You cannot trust this site whatsoever. Stick with paypal as you most likely will get nowhere with fiverr.
Answer: If you want a site designed to steal credit card data from hard-working, civilized people, please use Fiverr. It is designed for one thing: to take your credit card data and leave you to deal with a mess. More details, reply or search for my previous posts.
Answer: I can only imagine you got swindled and feel bad about the fact you trusted someone. Don't feel bad, you did nothing wrong. There are sites who take the time to vet their sellers and then there are sites like Fiverr who let's anyone to join with zero check on their credentials. The entry into selling on Fiverr is so easy that it borders on ridiculousness. Anyone can lie about their location, experience, education, and just about any credentials. Some of them are really clever and mask their fake profile pictures and gig descriptions really well. Fiverr is so secretive about their vetting process, which I seriously doubt there is anything in writing, that you can't trust it. The seller's level is a joke - I've gotten cheated by ones with thousands of reviews. How they received literally a thousand or more review is mind boggling. Go back and check again, you'll notice like 99.9% of the million or so sellers all have 5 star reviews. All legitimate businesses have a combination of good and bad reviews, most average around 3/5 or if they are a really great business 4/5 but for a large company with like a million or so freelancers with zero credentials having 5/5 pretty much tells you there is something wrong. Like I said, you did nothing wrong. I hope you didn't lose too much money. Their philosophy is "We don't care how crappy the delivery was as long as the seller delivered you don't get your money back."
Answer: The answer is plain simple NO! You will get your followers, yes! But they are all bots, so you will lose 90% of the followers the same week, might as well throw this 5 bucks in the air.
Answer: There is very little in the world that is unique. You have to trust or spend a lot more $$$ or do it yourself
Answer: I would suggest having nothing whatsoever to do with Fiverr. When things go wrong - and that happens a LOT - there is no customer support line to call. They make it very difficult (in my own case, impossible) to resolve any problems. Read the evaluation reviews- they are extremely negative. My advice: find another site on which to offer your services. DG
Answer: I've had 28 orders and all but two were very satisfactory. Most were PDFform building or business card templates, but I had s few design logos for me then used the one I liked. Buyers: it's cheap. Remember that. When the service is good I tip generously then use the same person. I get great service, often in one day. When I order, I add express service and have yet to be disappointed. It's a business model without customer service. Face it. If you want customer service, go to Nordstroms or Nieman Marcus. Do a better job selecting your service provider; be clear in the order, and overpay.
Fiverr has a rating of 1.6 stars from 1,132 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Fiverr most frequently mention customer service, credit card and low quality. Fiverr ranks 107th among Freelancing sites.
