The actual fishing trip was absolutely fantastic with Capt. Frankie and his crew. We were provided with an excellent experience and education by the crew. They made our excursion a very successful one (we all caught salmon). The only downside had nothing to do with the crew/boat - it was a problem with Fishing Booker which did not update their instructions - we were informed that the boat was located at a harbour in Oakville, but we found out that the boat was docked 30 km away.
You would think paying this much for a fishing trip you would get someone with experience. Not what we paid for. Drove around wasting time without even a nibble. Captain didn't seem like he wanted to be there. I would not waste time booking with FishingBooker if they continue hiring captains with no experience.
I provided an honest review of a recent charter that I booked. They totally whitewashed the review to protect the charter. I gave positive points and negative points to help future buyers know what to expect with the charter I chose. It appears they will try and protect their golden geese from posting the description of the review of anything less than stellar to preserve the symbiotic business dealings. Meanwhile, everything positive described is posted.

Captain Rod and Mate Andrew worked hard to ensure we had a good time and they used their knowledge and a variety of fishing techniques at a bunch of locations to get us some meat, a trophy, and a lot of great pictures. The atmosphere on their boat is exactly what it should be.

Had an awesome time going off shore fishing. Caught loads of fish, had plenty of room for 4 of us on the boat, and the captain and first mate were knowledgeable and really great people. Highly recommend

Today was my 3rd attempt to go fishing using this agent but i've had enough. First time booking got cancelled due to bad weather(understandable). 2nd time got cancelled a day before due to: not enough people booked on the boat, 3rd time i thought yay i finally get to live my life time dream only to drive down an hour to the marina and be told by the captain that fishing booker cancelled it last night. No email, text or phone call. Don't trust this Overseas company anymore. Now I can also see so many bad reviews here. Maybe i should have read all of these first.
My overall experience has been great. I love the app and the charter was phenomenal! Captain Joe with reel lucky is great! So knowledgeable! We caught fish all day! I will definitely go with him again and highly recommend. He even brings his chihuahua Batman. His mate Chris was so helpful the whole day. Really great experience.
Booked and paid $100 non refundable deposit for a boat /captain that was listed as available for the next day. Website said to expect a response in about an hour. Actual response time 12 hours only to be told that the booking was cancelled because the boat/captain were not available. They waited until 1am to decide, 5 hours before the charter was to leave. Multiple boats were available just not this one. Fishingbooker holds your funds and when you attempt to cancel and rebook they will keep your $100 deposit. Tried reaching out to customer service on multiple occasions and only received copy/paste responses that didn't address the problem. They actually told me it was my fault for using their service within 24 hours of the intended trip. Ye be warned!
Met with Capt Jones at the appointed time and we had a great day. Poor conditions due to wind but he found us plenty of fish and taught us rookies how to fish out on the bay. We pulled in fish consistently and had fun doing it. Boat was stable and powerful and he was equipped with bait and tackle and ready to show us a good time. Would definitely contact him again IF I get the chance.

While it was the perfect day to be on the water, calm and sunny, and we caught as many fish as we desired, Scooter did not stop talking. He was a non-stop motor mouth. Being self-employed ourselves, we take great care not to say anything personally offensive or politically incorrect to our potential clients; not Scott. We were able to get on a schools of Ribbon fish which was a new experience for me and our gang. We also caught Spanish mackerel and a few blues. We were doing great until the Coast Guard made us move three miles to clear a live ammo exercise. Regardless, it was good day of fishing thanks to Captain Shawn. Thanks for a great time.

Family of 8, grandparents, daughter and her five guys going for the first offshore trip for five or six of them. Beautiful half day experience for the whole family. Weather interfered with first date but Lucky Strike guys were very accommodating and put us on for the next day. Everyone caught fish and more than that had a very enjoyable family time due to the courtesy of our captain, Ed Elliott, and our first mate.

I booked a trip on Sunday afternoon for our planned trip next week to Miami. 48 hours later, we are informed that a positive COVID19 traveler has required us to cancel our condo stay. We live 12 hours away so obviously we had to cancel all our activities. The captain of the charter was so nice, but the Fishing Booker company still took our $190 deposit. I guess the 48 hour reservation didn't fall into their terms and conditions. I just think as a business owner myself that's not good business courtesy.

Over the course of this year, we’ve been working very hard to provide a good service to customers whose plans have been affected by the pandemic, while also supporting the captains whose livelihoods have been put at risk because of the outbreak.
Our COVID-19 extenuating circumstances policy waives cancellation fees or penalties for any customers or captains who need to cancel because of the coronavirus. But in order to protect all parties, this policy requires anyone who’s canceling to provide supporting documentation.
We reached out to you on several occasions about this documentation but unfortunately didn’t receive any response after your initial message. With this in mind, your deposit was returned to the captain in line with his short notice cancellation policy.
Again, I’m very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience and hope that you enjoyed the subsequent trip you booked with us.

It was mine and my families first charter fishing trip and we had a great time! Capt knew where all the best spots were and we were hooking fish left and right. Booked our fishing trip for Nearshore jetty fishing out of Fernandina Beach where we're staying. Paid the 55 down. Received cancellation notice the day before the planned fishing trip. Weather was excellent that day and saw other boats coming and going all day. "extenuating circumstances" was the excuse I received. We're here for one week out of the year, seriously people. They never offered an alternate boat trip, which we would have gladly take, not even a sincere apology. Happened to be fishing at a pier near a Marina that day and started talking to a guide who just returned. Booked a trip with him for the next day. Says he never works with Fishing Booker for a reason. Will never use their service again.

In our efforts to resolve the matter, I personally reached out, explaining the situation and why documentation was needed. However, we haven't received any of the necessary documents from your end.
We even reached out to the captain to see if he could waive his cancellation policy, given the circumstances. Regrettably, he was unable to do so.
In conclusion, we truly empathize with the inconvenience you faced due to the unforeseen circumstances that led to your cancellation. However, as we had no basis for a refund without the necessary documentation, we were unable to process it in this instance.
