Great time out, had to revise our trip with another Capt. Due to weather, but they still took care of us and took us to the inter-coastal, beautiful scenery and great instruction for some rusty fishermen.
We had the best guide ever! We had horrible weather and our guide was super patient and bent over backwards to get us "hooked up" with a few fish - it was cold and rainy and horrible weather but we had a great time!
I had a question/concern and contacted FishingBooker customer service through the app and I am very happy to say my questions were answered next day and continued with follow-ups. The Customer Service representative was timely, professional, caring, and accurate.

This company was incompetent and unprofessional in advising us at very late notice of cancelling due to bad weather conditions when the actual day is perfect weather not a cloud in the sky. I booked the charter for my 50th birthday travelled all the way from South coast nsw to catch fish for a barramundi a life long dream of mine. Very disappointed and would NOT recommend this company to anyone. They cancel at the last minute therefore did not have the opportunity to find another option. Very poor customer service and does not represent the Northern Territory in a positive manner at all. Totally disappointed and disgusted.

We can imagine how disappointing it must have been to have your plans fall through on such short notice, especially since this was supposed to be your birthday trip. Fishing can be unpredictable, and we're really sorry that the conditions didn't cooperate on your scheduled date.
According to the captain, your day was met by not just unstable weather but also very low tidal movements. From what we understand, this would have made catching Barramundi almost impossible.
As you know, the captain did try to make the most of the situation by offering you an alternative – bait reef fishing. The other party on your shared trip needed to accept the alternative solution, but they unfortunately declined. While we can see how this must have been frustrating, I'm sure you realize that this wasn't due to a lack of willingness from your captain.
Once again, we're sorry things didn't work out this time. If you'd be willing to give it another shot next time you're in Northern Territory, we'd be more than happy to help you organize a memorable outing.

FishingBooker allowed for direct messaging with the captain, showed available dates, pricing, etc. However, I would like there to be app integration, more instant booking (I had to wait over an hour+ at times just to be told "No Availability" when it clearly says available per the website, I like the weather reports (I had one captain constantly try to reschedule my trip), and more options for credit card payments prior to getting to the docks. Also, I believe each boat/captain should have a mandatory "meet the charter" video on their page rather than a picture of their boat(s) and customer uploads.

We completely understand how important it is to have set plans when you’re on vacation. Currently, over 70% of trips booked on FishingBooker are booked through our Instant Book feature.
The rest are typically reservations that come in on a day or two notice. For those trips, some captains like to have the flexibility to check their schedules before confirming their availability. I know that this is not ideal when you’re already in town and waiting for a confirmation. We are working on several features that will allow captains to automate their availability, so thank you for pointing out the importance of this.

Overall a good experience. The captain was very helpful and friendly throughout. Had two fairly large snappers break the line, which made me question why a steel bite leader wasn't used. Captain says they spook at the bite leader, but would have love to try anyway. Caught 4 Dorados, two of which were great fish.

Excellent day out on the water. Captain had a morning cancellation and asked if I'd mind leaving earlier than our 12:30 scheduled departure time. I met him at the dock at 10:30 and we got out on the water and the fishing was very very good. We limited out on Dorado! Captain filleted them on the way in. I took a couple fillets into a restaurant, that the captain recommended, when we reached the marina. The fish was cooked to order. After having a very delicious meal, I reflected back on the most excellent day that I had just experienced!
I have already booked another trip coming up in March!

The Captain and crew were very persistent and patient trying to get us a Marlin. We hit a Marlin in the last ten minutes of trip. Also hit two dorado at the same time and chaos ensued. However the crew handled it great!

I wanted to take 4 boys (2 - 13 yo and 1 - 21 yo) out for a fun off shore trip and really I know nothing about how to catch a fish so the only time my boys get this in is when we go on vacation and my hubby sets it up. So my husband couldn't book it this time and I was elated that my booking was a success! Captain Benny was very helpful and patient and even showed us some alligators and two bald eagles with their nest!
My youngest son Mario and his friend Boston each caught a couple of fish and then petered out about 2/3rds of the way through the trip but learned some valuable fishing skills about how to fish with lures. My oldest son Diego lasted the entire time and really began to get the hang of it by watching Cpt. Benny and his techniques as Cpt. Benny from the beginning was just reeling in fish after fish (all for us!). So in all between the 4 of them we caught 20 speckled trout.

Great trip…. Reluctant to give us all our fish. Caught 3 yellow fin tuna and a thirty pound wahoo. First mate Jerry was awesome. Lots of stories and a great instructor. The wahoo was wild on the deck and Jerry took over. We were anxious about a toothy fish taking over on the boat.

Fishingbooker just makes a Captains life easier with booking trips and customer service
Used this service for the first time and won't use again. The captains seem to prefer bookings that come direct, seem to double book and then cancel the bookings through this service at the last minute. Disappointed our whole family and their customer service did nothing to help solve the situation.

I understand that your captain canceled the evening before the trip because of a small craft advisory. It's worth mentioning that these weather warnings can be very serious and the conditions even a couple of miles from the coast can be very different from those on land. As you were fishing on a family-friendly pontoon boat, it would not have been advisable to fish in wavy conditions, even if other boat types were still going out despite the weather warnings. It's the captain's prerogative to keep you safe, and he chose to sacrifice his potential earnings to make sure your family wouldn't be put in danger. Your deposit has been refunded and should be in your bank account within the next couple of days.
We hope you get to enjoy a fishing trip with your family in better weather soon.
I have my business listed with this company and it is hopeless. Fishing booker will not answer my emails, they have deleted phone numbers so that they can't be contacted., They won't let me log on with my email as they say it doesn't exist but they keep sending me emails on the same address. I have changed a lot of important matters how I operate the business and need to reflect this on my listing but I can't change anything as I can't even reach my own listing and the company is uncontactable. This is highly unprofessional and quite frankly bloody hopeless.

We booked a full day "all inclusive" charter for 5 with Fish On. Captain and Crew were fantastic. Boat was clean and equipment was in great working order. Charter booking was easy and accurate and allowed for direct communication with our Captain in advance.

Captain Chris and Jacob were a pleasure to deal with from the reservation through the trip and afterwards. The weather was unpredictable that day so we couldn't go out as far as we would have liked and had a hard time catching the live bait initially. The water was rough also and we didn't catch as much as we would have liked, but they really tried to get us on fish. Overall we had a great time and would book with them again as most of the things were out of their control. They did turn us on to a restaurant that cooked our fish for us which was delicious and really capped off the day. Hopefully we will see them again next year.

Best day of fishing ever. The boat and Captain Kevin were the best. On time and took us to the fish right away. We caught are limit real fast. The only problem was we had to caught and release so many fish because the were to big (long). The four of use could not remember how many we caught because we caught so many. The Captain was running raged helping us and providing us with information. If you want a great trip this is the boat and Captain to go with.

This review is specify for the fishingbooker.com service, not the boats or Captains who are on it. We had a last minute free day on Maui on July 11. On July 10, I searched fishingbooker.com for Maui fishing tours. A few listings down in the results was a perfect trip for us that was listed as "filling up fast", so we booked it and paid the mandatory 20% deposit. Received the confirmation email, but it wasn't real clear where exactly to meet the boat. Looking more closely, I realized the boat they recommended in response to my "Maui fishing" search was based in Honolulu on Oahu. I immediately canceled the reservation, explaining the misdirected search results, but was told the cancelation violated the boat's terms of reservation policy, and the deposit was therefore forfeited as non-refundable. We had a so so experience. We had a trip rescheduled because of issues with the steering which was fine. The crew was less than friendly that first morning and did not communicate with us with more than 10 words.
Second trip the boat worked wonderful. The crew was friendly and happy in the afternoon. The boat is a little dated but we wanted to fish not worried about how the boat looked. The fishing gods were not on our side and we did not catch anything in 5 hours on the water…… the captain did all he could do from what we could tell. I wish we had been able to go out on our original morning trip but was happy they let us comeback and at least try the afternoon. I can't blame anyone on not catching anything that's why they call it fishing. Just would have made a difference on how the trip ended.

There are captains who offer departure times based on the cruise timetables and can get you back on time. I'd suggest you message the charters you'd like to go out with and inquire about this.
