Excellent experience buying from FirstClassTVs! I was skeptical at first because the price seemed too good to be true. However I was very happy with the customer service when I called to ask a couple questions about the ordering and deliver process. The TV arrived within the timeframe I was told, the delivery team was very professional and courteous, and the TV is outstanding! For a place so far away I was pleasently surprised. I received a phone call, but not because anything was wrong they were just following to confirm my order and if I had any questions or concerns. I received prompt alerts and notifications by email and the delivery provided by the shipping service was outstanding. They even tested my tv on delivery, instead of that having to be something I would have to request or do on my own to confirm the product. Pretty amazing experience.
I was wary of the price they offered which was about 20% lower than the going rate for the TV I bought. And I was concerned when they created a shipping label and said it was shipped before actually shipping the product days later. But they emailed to admit their mistake, and the TV arrived two weeks later double boxed, which is better protection than amazon or best buy uses for shipping TVs. It all worked out fine. I will use them again.

FirstClassTVs definitely lived up to their name with me. Great price on a brand new OLED. Product arrived in a pristine box, in record time, over Thanksgiving weekend. Ordered online on the morning of Thu Nov 22. Delivered to the front door of my second floor apartment on the afternoon of Mon Nov 26. Did I mention the shipping was free? Amazing! I would definitely recommend FirstClassTVs to anyone in the market for a new high end TV.
The original shipping email says 3 days, which apparently is just a tease. Need to improve on shipping details guys. 3 weeks isnt too bad from order to receipt, but it isnt 3 days... other than that, tv wasnt danaged at all, and got a good deal.
The tv is wonderful, however your transportation choice leaves room for improvement. Forward air did deliver the tv as scheduled on Thursday to Denver. They hired a local delivery trucking company that completely missed the mark. The tv arrived on Thursday at 1:00 pm as scheduled but the trucking company didn't load it so I called and gave them instructions how to get in touch with me at work on Friday. So Friday afternoon I called after not hearing from them and they said they had tried but no one was there so they waited a half hour then left and had no instructions to call me at work and that it would arrive on Monday. Monday arrived and I didn't hear from them again. I called once again and they never tried to deliver it and said it would arrive on Tuesday. Tuesday arrived but no call. Again I called and they assured me it would arrive on Wednesday and they would call me at work. Wednesday afternoon arrived but no call. I called and found out they had delivered my tv to Chicago and I wouldn't get it until Friday after it was returned. Finally I received it but they called my cell and luckily I had not made it into work so I received the call. It seemed no matter what I told them, they would not get it straight.
Took time for delivery due to the holidays. Shipped by AMTrucking which were great except for providing updated tracking information. Great price so can not complain.

Answer: Shipping insurance is not a scam. When you are shipping a fragile item that costs thousands of dollars it must be insured. We quote the shipping insurance afterwards so the customer can save the most money. If we included in the price you would pay much more than you would need to since shipping insurance is a variable cost. Keep in mind that after the shipping insurance you are still receiving the TV at the lowest price in the nation GUARANTEED. Its a simple concept to understand. Some customers unfortunately cannot grasp the concept but we have thousands that do and get to enjoy these great TVs and AMAZING PRICES.
