I ordered an evergreen (blue spruce) and it is great - but I ordered it too small - and that was totally on me for not paying attention to the size when I ordered.
Your products are excellent. I've ordered trees and shrubs, and they always arrive quickly, are perfectly packed/secured, and prove to be healthy and flourish after planting. I'm always pleased with Fast Growing Tree experiences.
I'm tickled with quality of the plants. The only negative I have is FEDEX. Twice I received packages with the package sitting on end with all the contents compressed, fortunately the internal packaging prevented serious damage just some broken branches or missing leaves. The last package I recieved was one of those and it also had considerable damage to the outside of the box that FEDEX had covered with packing tape. I took pictures of the package.
This is my second experience with FGT. The first one went without a glitch. This second one, the tree shipment was delayed about 9 weeks, which means it was going to go past the freezing date for my location. I wanted the tree in the ground 5-6 weeks before the freeze date for it to settle before the winter. Now i have to wait until the spring, which means the hole in the ground is going to be there for about 8 or so months.
We received our 10 (6-7 foot) evergreens as scheduled, great tracking info. One tree was damaged when the pot broke loose in the box and broke the tree trunk. I contacted customer service, send some photos and in 3 days my replacement tree arrived. Impressive customer service! The trees are healthy looking and seem to be doing well. I also liked being able to order the trees in August but delay shipping until September- a better time to plant in my zone. Overall a very good experience, I would definitely order again from this company.
I ordered the large Olive Tree. What arrived at the door was very scrawny and not at all as pictured or described. It just lacked a lot of branches and leaves and fell short on height. It is surviving and did have olives on it, but I have yet to see any growth.
Plants delivered on time, in good condition; hydrangea had the most blossoms of any of my plants - even survived New York's hot summer. Will order more next spring - beautiful showing for a city terrace garden!
Our trees arrived packed with care. We got many notifications upon arrival. So we were ready! Planted them fall of 2025. All the trees look great! We also ordered am assortment of blackberries. We cant wait to see come spring for our mini orchard
The larger and more expensive trees have been fine although one got mixed up and they sent us an invasive plant instead. The small plants have been puny — and replacements have all been fairly pathetic. Attempts to get replacements are unnecessarily scrutinized and challenged. Get what you pay for I guess.
I bought a Bloodgood Japanese Maple from FGT and was concerned at first as the leaves were dried up and eventually fell off the little tree. I put it in a larger pot and new soil and water it every other day. The little tree came back with numerous new leaves and about 4 inches new growth. I was over joyed with it. I msged FGT when I first got the tree and they were quick to respond and I appreciated that and I did llet them know that my tree was doing wonderfully now.
I've purchased a handful of plants from FastGrowingTrees.com (10+) plants. All arrived in great condition (though the delivery company disregarded some of the arrows on the boxes). And almost all of the plants have thrived since being planted. The one azalea that did not take hold FastGrowingTrees.com honored their warranty and shipped me a new azalea that is doing much better than the original.
First I bought 8 Holly shrubs and liked them so much that I bought 4 more different plants. They arrived in 2 days, very healthy and growing Great. My Landscaper like then so much that he said Fast Griwing Treesis his Gi To CC Nursery from now on. Oh and did mention the prices are the. M BEST I could find.
Both times I have ordered the plants, they have arrived in poor shape from shipping. I ordered 6 forthisias and several had broken limbs, plastic pots cracked. This go round I ordered two pines, again pots were cracked. One tree had the roots exposed and I've been fighting to keep it alive. A good bit of money for not having such good luck.
I have bought several things from here and everything has been great. My thujas are growing super fast and now my new Red Sunset red maple is in the ground and looking good. Everyone I've spoken to on the phone has been very helpful.
I've bought other trees through this site but I would discourage anyone from buying hydrangea or gardenia through here. Absolutely abysmal quality. I have created far better with simple 5 week old clippings. Tiny, poor root development, crushed in transport, not rebounding.
Good price for the quantity I purchased.
Plants arrived quickly and healthy. They were planted about five weeks ago and so far doing well. The real test will be how well they survive the winter here in Minnesota.
The Thuja Green Giant I ordered arrived in a distressed state. While I understand that this can happen to an extent due to shipping, this tree looked like something from a Charlie Brown Christmas. After planting it over one month ago, the tree looks like it won't make it through the season.
Not realizing exactly what I was buying, and not doing research was the problem. I could have went down the road and bought the same 2 small bushes for 24.99 each. Instead I paid over $200 for 2 small bushes. Nothing exceptional about them. Lesson learned.
We ordered six muhly pink grass and they arrived nicely boxed, healthy, rootball all wrapped in plastic, ready to plant. So far they are happy and thriving. Note: The first shipment didn't get delivered, but customer service took care of it quickly and got it resolved.
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
