The company has garnered a generally positive reputation, with many customers praising the quality of their trees and the reliability of their shipping. Customers appreciate the careful packaging and the company's commitment to customer satisfaction, often highlighting responsive customer service and effective handling of replacements. However, there are notable concerns regarding service delays, particularly during peak seasons, and issues with product condition upon arrival. Some customers expressed frustration over the lack of communication and transparency in the order process. Overall, while the company is recognized for its quality products, improvements in customer communication and shipping reliability could enhance the customer experience.

We ordered over $600 worth of bushes last fall and planted them. None of them came back this spring. I have dug them all up and requesting my refund or replacement.
Fast Growing Trees had a wide selection of tree species that I couldn't always find at local nurseries. Delivered to the door made the purchase convenient. Trees came in very good condition considering the transportation. I didn't like that they 'topped' my tulip poplar to fit it in the box for the size I purchased-I would have just paid a few extra dollars for a bigger tree instead of having it topped. Altogether that is my only complaint.
I ordered a honeycrisp apple tree in February and it arrived in late April (great time for planting it in Wisconsin). The tree was in great shape and was very well packaged. It is doing great in our backyard.
I ordered six hydrangeas, which arrived quite damaged. The pots for several of them were crushed, and most of the plants' branches were broken (all six). I have reached out to customer service twice and have yet to receive a response. Not sure where to go from here. Note that the first time I placed an order, my plants arrived in excellent shape and I was very happy, which is why I placed a second order. I don't know what happened to this recent order - the plants looked like they were run over by a truck.
The Rose of Sharon tree form came as scheduled and is leafing out beautifully. Looking forward to seeing those Azurri Blue Satin blooms! The lantana was taller and leggier than expected but is healthy and blooming.
Terrible experience. You are one of the worst companies that I have ever ordered from. My 6 organic strawberries have died and I was reassured by one of your reps that a replacement order will be issued. I have never received that and the last rep I spoke to played dumb and pretended to be unaware of such communication even though I attached screenshots of it.
Almost all plants I was buying here during the last 5-6 years were just perfect. All are growing in my backyard: cherry, persimmon, hazelnut, strawberries, blueberries and etc. All what I was buying came in very good condition, but last my purchase: wisteria tree came like a dry stick almost without roots. It was very unusual and disappointing… I was hoping it can be still alive, but after one month I wrote the email with explanation of the issue to the customer service. After few emails back and forth, I got the replacement in good and very healthy condition. I love it a lot.
To date the many plants I've ordered and received were in good shape. The next one arrived with black spots and black slime. I took photos and contacted customer service. Of course I was not "speaking " to a representative that I couldn't just voice my issues to. I texted into the box about the state of the plant and sent photos. I requested either a replacement or a refund. Was responded with the only option afforded me with basically "You will need to remove all damages and baby the plant along! If you still have issues after 90 days, contact us again " 🤯
I ordered a Granny Smith apple tree in March. I paid for it. Because I live in Illinois, temps dropped to below freezing after I ordered, so I called Fast Growing trees customer service to have them hold shipment until April (approximately 2-3 weeks). It was never shipped, so about 3 weeks ago (around April 20th)I emailed (only option) to inquire why my tree hadn't shipped yet. Customer service was gracious and regretful and gave me an unsolicited 15% discount, which I got quickly, and said my tree would be shipped following Friday. Today is evening of May 7th. No tree was shipped. No explanation. I just want to move on. Just give me my money back and I'll order from another site.
We are extremely pleased with the plants we have received so far but the communication (or lack thereof) for the remaining tree has been nonexistent. It was ordered in March and I only received an update with I reached out mid April. Still waiting on another update and/or the tree.
I was give an incorrect tree and was sent a new correct one! Thank you
I'm aware part is the shipping company's fault. However, one of the two olive trees was not packed correctly. Dirt was loose all inside the box. One had the white tie strap securing the dirt, pot and tree. The other one was not secured and not only the dirt was all over the box but so was the tree. I had also ordered a lavender plant. That was a very small plant. This is the first time I've experienced this with the company. I've ordered several times and had been very satisfied.
My $55 plant arrived dead and the only way to reach anyone is via a contact form and nobody is getting back to me. Very disappointed.
I ordered two trees and they both arrived damaged. One had over half of it damaged and the other had major branches broken. I contacted Fast Growing Trees and I never heard back, even through their website states that they will cover trees damaged in shipping.
Dead tree with no roots ordered Mar 6th. When arrived opened and no leaves (not uncommon for wisteria this time year) and water. Only when the tree was being planted in the beginning of April (early for planting in PA) noticed no roots. Submitted claim and pics. DENIED a refund after 25+ emails, calls and text messages since it was longer then 30 days. This company is not someone you want to do business with. Dispute filed with credit card company, google review being done, contacted BBB and...
Delivery of my plants has been a terrible experience. Multiple shipments, but only one tracking number (which once the first delivery has arrived, you have no way of tracking the rest). I've had to follow up multiple times on missing items to get a refund or substitutions. (Pretty sure if I hadn't, they wouldn't have initiated anything.) Packages are clearly marked with "FRAGILE" and "LIVE PLANTS" and "THIS SIDE UP" with arrows, but my boxes were demolished and every which way but the way they should have been placed. The only reason why I gave TWO stars and not only ONE star was because, by the grace of God, the plants appear to have survived the trauma of delivery… so far. I guess I'll see once i get them in the ground.
I ordered a Sugar Maple tree. When maple tree finally arrived, it was in outstanding shape. My only complaint was how long it took to get here. Tree was great, came as ordered, just a month later than I had wanted.
I ordered & paid for a tree back in early March 2025. FGT promised to hold my tree & release it for shipment on 5/5/2025. Now(the beginning of May), I have received an email from FGT apologizing for a delay shipment to the end of May 2025. That is absolutely unacceptable!
The plants I have purchased have arrived healthy and undamaged. When I had a tree not survive a year, it was replaced without a hassle. I have been very please with the company and the plants.
I brought several trees last September. I contacted customer service twice in the middle of March regarding 2 of our trees not surviving the winter. Both times i was told the trees look good even when i told them the trees are "a dried stick" and i was not able to cut the trunk as both person advised me to do. They told me to wait and gave us some instructions to follow. We are in May already and the trees still the same dried stick as before 😓 Landscaping crew came 6 times already and always asked me if they should remove the dead trees. They told us trees are 100% dead. I will contact customer service once again even when they are not being helpful twice already. Also the condition of the plants when arrived are not good. Plants/trees out of their pots, roots exposed, broken branches. I dont recommended buying online only for the way the shipping company handles the boxes.
I dont recommend buying from this company because the company dont honor their "1 year warranty"
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
