Don't get me wrong or mainly "cheap brands". If they will be able to add more dealerships that support Tesla BMW Mercedes etc that'll be awesome. Lastly you can not choose a car from a state close to you ONLY the state you're in. I found another car that I want to "lease" which is a 30 minute drive but it's in New Jersey. Ironically
I spent an hour on the line waiting for a representative with a message displaying a wait time of 11 minutes and I feel taken advantage of. The payments are insane but that just Uber and Fair creating a horrible deal for its uncared for drivers."
They collect our information. First thing they do is to ask you to scan your ID. One you done that there is no way to remove our personal information using the app. I sent them email and I'm trying. If there System is hacked then all our information will be available which can let someone use it for scamming. They make it difficult to remove our info they should respect their clients and have an option to remove our personal account from the app.
When my father first told me about Fair i was ECSTATIC! It took me about 3 weeks to get the car i had been waiting for. It was almost like waking up everyday to gamble. Then lose the car and start over again. Imagine the anxiety! I was finally paired with a car
Crystal who is a fair employee in atlanta fair station was more than helpful in providing me services and getting me in to a new car she was so understanding and went up and above to make the customer happy thank you so much i hope fair has more employees like you to keep this company great!
I waited til a couple hours before the pickup time the next day to call and ask about it's availability and the dealership told me they sold it the night before and that if I came in they could show me some other ones similar. When this happened I had a friend call and check the inventory of that dealership and it turns out that a car that matched every single description of the one I ordered was still on their lot. It was a frustrating thing to experience however Richard from Fair helped me through many failed processes at getting a car to eventually finding one that fit my criteria and one I wanted. The app Fair itself is a great deal and a simple way of getting a car. It's the dealerships however that get 1 star. Fair and the dealerships can butt heads but I don't blame Fair for the conflict. Overall the app is great dealerships are not."
I only have one problem with Fair and that is if someone hacks your email you have to return your car close your account and start all over again because they can't change it in their system and they feel it is not important enough to fix it.
First I've seen more bad reviews than good reviews for you app/start up/company. I downloaded the app just to look around and when I got to the second step I deleted the app. I'm not giving you or any company my Drivers License that I don't have to especially one with such bad ratings. I'm a people person I'm not a millennial. I don't mind going to a car dealership
This was an easy option for me and my family. We recently totaled our family car and were stuck with the position to have to get a new vehicle. I typically buy my cars but since I had to figure this all out very soon
The app seems interesting. But I was caught off guard by the initial questions you guys ask. Asking for my drivers lic info right off the bat is too quick. Not that I have anything to hide. Lol. My record is good and I have a valid license. My issue was with you having all my info so quickly. And could use it for advertising purposes. I would have liked to check out the how the app is set up
Fair charged me for insurance I had requested that they remove. Took them three months and several calls even to stop overbilling me. Each time support staff assured me it had been done. Four months and several more calls later I still have not been refunded. Support staff are friendly but for whatever reason have repeatedly proven they are unable to do their job and complete basic corrective billing tasks.
If you live in Los Angeles... there were 0 cars in my area of San Francisco. Only in LA. So if I bought a car I'd have to fly or find a way to LA to pick the car up... which is more of a hassle than just going to a dealership.
I've had various issues with my fair car having to be serviced and John has been the epitome of amazing customer service. He's taken car of all my issues as well as followed up with me and made sure I was satisfied with the outcome.
I am college student and I found this app really useful when I was searching for my car because I had the freedom to exit out of it in a harsh situation. When I applied in only took my a few minutes and it was so easy to do the paperwork. The pick up day was also a smooth process
I had never heard of this app before until I walked into a dealership and was offered an alternative to lease a car instead. The dealership helped me and got the exact car and specifications I needed. My recommendation is to use the app at your nearest dealership so that way the experience is better and you can see if the car you want is available. It took me less than an hour to have the car picked out and all the paperwork done. I walked out of the dealership with a 2016 Mazda 3 with less than 7
Worst experience I have ever had with a company. They owe me over $300 refund and its been 4 months. Keep getting the runaround and have been told repeatedly that I will get my refund any day now. Well its been four months and Im now realizing its a scam. They raised everyone's rates
Customer service is nice but no one knows how to do much or what's going on with your account? 1. I get text reminders about incorrect due payments AFTER I returned my car. 2. They rented me a "rideshare" ready car that had no A/C (Jeep renegade). This wasted a week of being on the phone convincing them because they didn't believe me and then scheduling the return. 3. They confirmed a car was available to rent when it was not. 4. The dealership that I picked my car up demanded that I sign paperwork even though fair claims it's all online. 5. I had to wait 10 days to return my car Paying in full every day. 6. My Fair app wouldn't work for a month. Even though they documented the issue and said other people were experiencing the same thing I never received an update or a solution.
To be honest they have a Subaru WRX STI model in the picture for a base model WRX listing. Some of these vehicles look and perform very different than what you're actually getting and for the inexperienced eye this would be unnoticeable. However I don't think this marketing technique is honest and this alone might keep me from actually getting a car."
I am extremely pleased with the top notch service from fair. I found the exact vehicle I was looking for on the app congratulated me and handed me the keys. The fair representative from the area Mark even stopped by to make sure I had an awesome experience. As far as the money there's no way I could have got the same vehicle for the same payment and start payment! This is the future! Well done fair!"
After hearing these horrific stories there is no way! I can buy a car with no money down at 130 a month I am sorry I gave them my license # and Email. I can rent a car from enterprise way cheaper I was going to drive for Uber my car and truck was to old and thought I could make enough money with a rental working full time not through fair. This seems like a way for people with bad credit a option to buy a car I feel like it's taking advantage.
