EyeBuyDirect.com sells prescription eyeglasses and frames, as well as sunglasses.
The company has garnered a solid reputation for providing affordable, quality eyewear, with many customers praising the extensive selection and effective virtual try-on feature. Satisfaction with product quality is prevalent, particularly for prescription glasses, which are often noted as a cost-effective alternative to traditional retailers. However, concerns regarding slow shipping times and excessive communication, particularly following orders, have been highlighted as significant drawbacks. While most customers express overall satisfaction, the inconsistency in delivery and customer service experiences indicates room for improvement in operational efficiency and support responsiveness.

Love these glasses! Great selection and affordable.
I ordered 2 pair of glasses for my daughter in this order. She is enjoying them. My second order for myself was put on hold with authorization needed. I sent in the authorization and spoke with one of your Eyebuy Direct reps. I was told over a week ago it would be placed. I had to reach out today to get an answer. Hoping I get my glasses soon as well. How I am feeling is still pending.
Cool fashionable glasses I can see again that glasses came on time
My experience was great. My glasses are perfect! They came on time and the packaging was good. I love the look.
Great glasses! Seem very sturdy and well made. Glad to know there's an alternative to getting frames from my eye doctors office. As far as the online try-on, it's semi helpful. The glasses I got were definitely bigger on my face than what I saw in the try on, but that's what I expected and hoped for, so it worked out!
The glasses are larger than expected. Can I exchange for a smaller frame?
Glasses very tight around my head & hot water "tip" didn't work. Had to bend them to be bearable and haven't returned because I literally need them to see and threw away my old pair. May return the black pair for a refund.
They came so fast and I love them both they are my 2 new fav pair and I love that they don't cost a fortune
Pretty straightforward experience. The glasses arrived and the prescription was just what I asked for.
Love my new glasses! Thank you. I ordered another pair that's how much I liked them.
Buying a random pair of glasses online without trying them on? I tried it just because i have been curious about ordering online glasses. I got the rimless pair and I like them. I guessed at what I thought I would like (even though they have the virtual try on). The rimless took longer to adjust to since there is nothing to see around my eyes. I've worn glasses for about 10 yrs and they are just as good as the in store version. I would definitely buy them again. They do have a long delivery though. It took about 2 weeks to get them.
So pleased with my glasses. For single vision, not sure there is a better bang for your buck out there.
Website is easy to order from and the turn around time is fast.
Fit perfect and look fantastic. I only ever buy my glasses from here now :)
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
