EyeBuyDirect.com sells prescription eyeglasses and frames, as well as sunglasses.
The company has garnered a solid reputation for providing affordable, quality eyewear, with many customers praising the extensive selection and effective virtual try-on feature. Satisfaction with product quality is prevalent, particularly for prescription glasses, which are often noted as a cost-effective alternative to traditional retailers. However, concerns regarding slow shipping times and excessive communication, particularly following orders, have been highlighted as significant drawbacks. While most customers express overall satisfaction, the inconsistency in delivery and customer service experiences indicates room for improvement in operational efficiency and support responsiveness.

These glasses came in the time they were said to come and I couldn't be happier! They are perfect. I haven't had them for long but the quality seems to be equal or even better than those you'd find in an eyeglass store in person that cost double or even triple the price.
Received my two pair of glasses in a very timely matter. Very happy with the look and quality. Thanks
The process to order is very easy I'm able to enter my prescription and the glasses are made perfect.
Easy to do and cute glasses. Definitely buying more soon
Great! Thank you! Loved my glasses exactly like described
It was great to get just what I ordered. Also the prescription was done exactly.
Non polarized lenses didn't provide the sun protection i was after. I returned this pair and ordered a pair with polarized lenses.
I have been Eye Buy Direct's customer for many years. They have excellent customer services, prices, and high quality glasses.
Great prices good customer service good value for your money good selection of styles
The glasses were very affordable and sturdy it came on time
Prescription sunglasses, absolutely Amazing clarity!
I was worried that the glasses I bought would be hard to see out of and not worth the money
I've bought 3 pairs in the last year or two. I had an issue where my eye doctor messed up my script, no fault of EyeBuyDirect. They emailed back and fourth with me promptly to help me figure out the issue. I bought a new pair with the right script. The glasses I bought were inexpensive. I did not ask for a refund because it was not their fault. I had an email that said they refunded that pair. I couldn't believe it. They earned me as a customer and maybe a few more that read this.
I had a problem with the first pair. It had the wrong prescription. Contacted support who helped me thru the process of returning them and getting the correct prescription. Great customer support
I was pleased with entire process. The info on order progress was not up to date as my shipping status had a lag so that it went from waiting for pickup to put for delivery. Not sure if it was vendor or USPS issue.
Glasses are great, appear accurate. Did request return and replacement with different frame as the "ear tips" kept sliding off the wire temple pieces. The return process was easy as well. Assume next ones will be better as they have single material for temple arms.
Fit was perfect - came really fast! Exactly what I ordered
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
