EyeBuyDirect.com sells prescription eyeglasses and frames, as well as sunglasses.
The company has garnered a solid reputation for providing affordable, quality eyewear, with many customers praising the extensive selection and effective virtual try-on feature. Satisfaction with product quality is prevalent, particularly for prescription glasses, which are often noted as a cost-effective alternative to traditional retailers. However, concerns regarding slow shipping times and excessive communication, particularly following orders, have been highlighted as significant drawbacks. While most customers express overall satisfaction, the inconsistency in delivery and customer service experiences indicates room for improvement in operational efficiency and support responsiveness.

Always a pleasure doing business. The packages are always neat and properly cared for along the way. Haven't had a single issue and I've been a returning customer now for five or six purchases. Recommend this company all the time to friends and family, thank you for the service you provide!
I see two day delivery but that is only on single vision if you have progressive lenses you're looking at over two weeks. The frames I picked were what I expected style wise the eyeglass arms are metal and very thin will see how they hold up. As I said earlier I had progressive lenses and when I received my glasses I put them on I could see better than my older ones so good job with the new prescription. I will be ordering others from here and now I won't expect them here anytime sooner than two weeks
I've bought things at this establishment and found their specifications to be satisfactory for my purposes. On the infrequent occasion in which the product did not meet the required specifications, the staff of the establishment was able to rectify said specifications to my liking - after an initial misstart in the area of customer service protocol. The reduction in cost by coded input at checkout is worthwhile to the customer.
Product quality to cost ratio was favorable for my circumstances
First I purchased two pairs of glasses- both prescription sunglasses. Love both pairs, wore one more often than the other because of the style. I went to wear the pair I don't wear often and the arm snapped off, this frame doesn't have screws so no way to repair it. I called and was immediately speaking with a real person!
I was offered a replacement right away, I was also offered to get the same pair or something else, so I ordered the other frame with a different color lens. I did have to pay a $4 fee for the lens being a special color, but that's nothing! So happy! It's so rare today to find great customer service with any company, I highly recommend EYEBUYDIRECT!
Was not what I expected. Sunglasses were much smaller than what they appeared to be in the try-on picture.
The shipping time was horrendous. It took 2 weeks to ship.
Price was good quality not the best, my eyes hurt when I wear The glasses
This is my 3rd order placed with EyeBuyDirect and as always the process is easy, accurate and my glasses arrive in a timely fashion.
I was able to find a new second pair of glasses and purchase them with my FSA card easily enough. I received notice on June 3rd they had shipped and then just received them June 17th and only after I contacted to complain. Just be a little more transparent with the customer when you, obviously, screwed up somewhere. It goes along way in this society of lies we're living in.
Other than that, good work.
Honestly, I am happy with my glasses they fit my face like the virtual try on showed and the color I got is almost identical to what I saw on screen. They seem to be good quality and they weren't a bad price at all. My only issue is that I think I need to go somewhere to have my nose and ear pieces adjusted. They fit fine, but are a little loose and slide down my nose. I know they give instructions on how to fix these issues but the ear pieces weren't really flexible after soaking them in hot water and I felt very uncomfortable trying to adjust the nose pieces, from fear of breaking them. But other than that they are great glasses for a pretty decent price.
Wondered about XL size frame size but they look great on my 15 year old daughter.
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
