EyeBuyDirect.com sells prescription eyeglasses and frames, as well as sunglasses.
The company has garnered a solid reputation for providing affordable, quality eyewear, with many customers praising the extensive selection and effective virtual try-on feature. Satisfaction with product quality is prevalent, particularly for prescription glasses, which are often noted as a cost-effective alternative to traditional retailers. However, concerns regarding slow shipping times and excessive communication, particularly following orders, have been highlighted as significant drawbacks. While most customers express overall satisfaction, the inconsistency in delivery and customer service experiences indicates room for improvement in operational efficiency and support responsiveness.

Got them in time for my trip so no complaints there
Great place for glasses. Quick and easy. Good customer service support.
All went well!
It would have been nice to have had notice of when they actually shipped.
Great service with cool frames, team follows up to make sure you get what you pay for, if something is off they fix it and follow up again.
Glasses were made really fast and I received them in no time.
By far my favorite place to order glasses! Great quality, amazing price. I get so many compliments on my frames
Excellent experience overall. I am satisfied. And happy.
Liked the frames online, but they just didn't fit - got regular and sunglasses. One was too big, other too small. Also had to tilt my head to see properly for the progressive lenses. Disappointed.
Easy and simple website. Only gripe is that the shipping tracking is not accurate. Seems the system/delivery services tend to mark "delivered," even though its many days away.
Very easy and always good experience. So quick and absolutely a good purchase.
Website was easy to navigate, loved the variety of frames and prices are very affordable!
I called your customer service and the lady that helped was very nice. I explained to her that I need the progressive with prism lenses to include transitions in the lense perscription, and she explained that eyebuydirect can't fulfill that order due the the prism lens being too thick to include transition lenses. She offered me to send them back for a full refund. I really appreciate that.
There's no way to add an apostrophe in the mailing address. My mailing address has an apostrophe in it and the output address really confused the postal service. There was also no way to edit the address once the order was placed. Also, the material for these glasses seem cheap so we'll have to see how well they hold up. I guess you get what you pay for.
Best online Prescription Eyeglasses website by far. Hands down!
Ordering new glasses was so easy, and I have always been so very satisfied
I have been buying from EBD for many years, always been happy!
As always a great place to buy glasses, i have looked at other websites but i prefer EYEBUY!
Great way to supplement prescription lenses with fashionable eyewear
I made a mistake on the order form and was treated exceptionally well by customer service to rectify things beyond my expectations. Also, the orders are shipped much faster than from some of their competitors.
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
