This is the first time I have ever written a review. I am currently on hold with this poor excuse for a company and have never observed such terrible customer service in my entire life. Not only that, they take every opportunity to steal any dollar they can from you. The biggest regret of my life was making a booking through this website.

STAY AWAY

STAY AWAY - I booked a flight for a family member on Tuesday, got an email today telling us the airline had cancelled our booking because the price was not available, but we could rebook for a higher price. Thought it sounded a bit odd, so checked the flight prices on the website and they are the same price as they were in Tuesday! Please book somewhere else to avoid any hassle/scams

We booked two tickets the other night after finding an awesome deal through explore trip- the cheapest price we saw. Our credit card was charged right away and we received our eticket numbers a few hours later.

My husband then found all these negative reviews online and became alarmed. I called the airline directly the next morning and everything was booked and matched up 100%- no "scams" as some of the reviews state. We got charged the exact amount we saw online and the airline was able to send us another confirmation to verify.

Most of the reviews seem to be about modifying or changing flights but if you don't have to deal with that I would recommend this site if you are looking for a good deal/cheaper flight.

Last year I purchased 2 tickets to Brazil for September, however my father past away in July so I asked to have my ticket changed to July. The customer service not only took forever to answer the call, but they charged me additional $850 dollars to change my ticket. Since my husband could not go, they ensure me that I would have a credit for his ticket in a total of $700. After September I called and asked to use this credit towards a ticket for myself to go to Brazil visit my mom for Christmas and they again took forever to answer, but once they did, the lady told me that the $700 was attached to my husbands name - even though I am the one that paid and it was on MY CREDIT CARD. I thought that it was absurd. So I bought a ticket separately and visited my mom.
Now I just contacted them to inquire about my credit and they told me that to purchase a ticket it will have a fee of $300, since I am changing the tickets date from September, 2013! And the worst: because it is Saturday, they cannot deal with this matter because the ticketing department is CLOSED. I am so fed up that after spending a lot, my only credit will be $400 and I may not even get it. BY THE WAY: WORST COMPANY EVER! STAY AWAY!

STAY AWAY! Booked a flight from Canada to UK at 9am this morning Received confirmation, reservation code and itinerary. 5 hrs later received an e-mail to say airline canceled my flight as the seat was sold! I am on the phone to their manager "Patrick". THE worst customer service, I wanted to complain... I was told to call back tomorrow. Surely their is some ombudsman we can go to!

THIS IS A RIP OFF! I paid 300USD to cancel my flight, now 15 months later they still didn't pay back the 1000 USD flight I paid 300 USD to cancel. They ignore most of my mails, whenever they answer they say they will send the money, but they never do. As a student its needless to say this was a massive financial blow for me, had to take a loan to pay for my tuition etc. No idea why you allow companies like this to run in the US, what a shame!

*Beware* This site is a rip off. Their web site will quote one price but they charged me more than the invoice. Going through the hassle of cancelling your flight to get a refund is a waste of your precious time.

NEVER EVER USE THIS SITE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
First of all when you try to call expect to call at least 4 times before you talk to someone. I am currently trying to change the dates of my flight and they keep telling me that no flights are available even though I found the same route with the same airline on the airline site.
It also took them 47 minutes to tell me the above information and I am currently on hold and for god knows how much longer.
I wish I had payed a few hundred more to avoid this nightmare.
Dont use this site, it should be shut down, honestly the worst experience ever.

Very bad experience. I booked a flight at one price. That ticket at that price was returned and they charged me again at a higher price without even telling me. I called customer service and the guy said, "oh the taxes went up". What? Taxes don't all the sudden go up in 3 days. I asked to speak to a manager and he said no manager was there, someone will call be back. We'll see.

Awful, Horrible, Terrible, Loathsome, Appalling, Repellent, Repulsive customer service!
If you find yourself searching the Internet for low fares for generally expensive trips, and part of that search finds you on the Exploretrip.com website, run like there is no tomorrow! They don't have any savings to speak of (mine was $25 on a $1000 ticket) and it took a week of constant follow up with them (after I had a confirmation email) to find that they just cancelled the reservation with no warning. I am scared that I ever shared my credit card info with them. Customer "service" is definitely outsourced to India or Pakistan, and often there is no answer or voice mail is full. I so wish that I can keep you from making this mistake.

I used Exploretrip for a trip with my friend to London in June. Their price was the best I could find on the web. Exploretrip offered good flight times with this package. I will be using Exploretrip in the future.

I purchased a ticket from SFO -- IST. The ticket price was initially $724, but when I looked at my credit card statement, it was $729. $5 wasn't a big deal, so I let it slide.

Unfortunately I was in an accident and my doctor and physical therapist do not think I will be able to go on my trip in a month. I tried to reschedule my flight for a later date, but exploretrip.com wants to charge me $350 to do so.

Stay away from these jerks. Not only is this fee unreasonable, but they were also rude to me on the phone and treated me like I was an idiot. I'm on the phone with my credit card company and am currently disputing this charge.

This website first appears to be a great site, however not until you start to book a flight. This site total a big SCAM in their price, they list their price really low than other sites then you book it, they ask you to fill credit card verification and copies of credit card plusdrive license which I never seen on other site before. DON'T DO THIS! They can STEAL your idenity, plus their booking site is NOT secured https as needed when you provider important information like credit card number.

I was foolish because of their low price, I sent all that document that they asked... they emailed back with the excuse "the booking got canceled by the airline". I booked another flight, filled all document all OVER again then they emailed back saying "the booking got canceled by the airline"! They're lie. Airline doesn't sell them that slow of airfare. They claims to airline cancel their booking. Remember they have your all information, who know what they could do it them.

Don't either bother to call their customer service. I tried to call for 2 days, all I talked with was the same guy who has a strong accent that you're hard time to understand. Only ONE employee work as customer service for 2 days on the roll. What is horible company!

I called to ask why the price that I booked still in the website even though they know from my case that airline wouldn't take this price, he admits that the online price in far off, but all he keeps repeating is "Sorry ma'am".

I had to cancel my ticket because I was severely ill, too ill to travel. They initially said they'd issue me my refund but charge me $250 fee. Then I told them I have a legitimate excuse and to waive the fee, of which they said would be fine as long as I sent them a doctor's certificate within 24 hours of my departure. I did just that even though I was barely able to move. I got no confirmation of my refund. Now they say they need to contact the airline and there's uncertainty. I don't get it! I went out of my way and did my part, they were so quick to charge my card. But now when it comes to customer service, they're slow to act and respond especially after I've submitted all the necessary documents including my prescription and diagnosis reports. I've been waiting for two weeks. They can take 4-8 weeks to process but at least give me a confirmation. I have emails that prove how disorganized they are with all their verbal and written promises - complete BS. I'm going to file just about everything under the sun if they don't give me an answer I deserve. It will cost them more to fight me than just issue my refund. NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH EXPLORETRIP! I wish I read these reviews sooner. They're directly liable for their misuse of my time and money.
