Everblak called and said they would out within a couple of days for estimate. Never showed or heard from again.
Very poor business practice!
I would avoid Joe and Everblak. We spoke through email about my driveway being narrow and having to do some sections by hand. We had concerns about the base after tearing the driveway out as no additional stone was added and it didn't seem correct. After some emails back and forth trying to speak to someone in person. Joe stopped by unannounced. My wife saw him in the driveway and spoke briefly with him. He told my wife "The site needed more stone, and it would be laid down if not before then on paving day." 3 days later the crew shows up with a paver that's too big and no stone. My wife speaks to Colin the foreman. He says that they must leave for a while and rethink the project. 4 hours later the crew shows up with asphalt and goes to work. My wife went outside and stops them. She asks Colin where is the stone? He stated, " this is what happens when there is a 3rd party involved and says call joe". I call the phone number provided and it goes to voicemail. I call the office and Jessica tells me don't worry its "OK and if I am not satisfied, they will tear the whole thing out and redo it." The crew hand paved the whole driveway! Never had a paving machine back on site. They were gone in than less than 4 hours. The end of the driveway looks terrible not symmetrical. After a month and a half of trying to get Joe to my house to look at all the issues and discuss remedies. He refused and we were instead scheduled to meet Colin 8/31/22@ 1:30. I took time off work to meet him, and he never showed. Around 3pm a crew of 3 showed up unannounced to "fix things". I had told Jessica multiple times I wanted nothing "fixed" until I discussed how things were going to be fixed. I sent an email again directly to *******@everblak.com in 9/6 asking him to please work with me. He did not respond. I put a review with this information on their Facebook page. They responded by disabling all their reviews to wash it. I have contacted a few other paving companies about how to go about fixing the issues. They all told me there are issues with the water retention that will ruin the integrity of the driveway very quickly. One company stated that Everblak utilizes sub-contractors. So that may indicate why Colin said something to my wife about getting confused with a 3rd party. Check out the pictures. I have no confidence this driveway will last anywhere near what I anticipated. Plus, it looks quite bad.
Have been really responsive to all our needs and when we have a problem they have been quick to take correctly action.
Work was done excellently, on time and at the agreed upon price
Nailed it. Needed a drive expanded. They did all the leg work, variances, etc. Turned out great.
I had some issues but they were all addressed professionally.
