The event running and the still selling tickets they playing with us money and don't have information about stay or not what's included such a worst service and refund policy also not working so I requested to all guys pls be careful about that I buy this on 6 pm and show start on 3pm
After I was told I could get a refund for an event, they then just ignore all correspondence -- DO NOT PAY for any tickets using Eventbrite. -- it is a scam!
I know for certain that A NUMBER of events posted on that site for my city are indeed scams. There is not even an option on the app which allows for me to notify EVENTBRITE of a possible scam so that it can be investigated and ultimately $#*! down. Smh
We paid to go to the Old Crow Medicine Show in Apopka on Saturday October 1,2022. The Event Organizer would not let anyone bring in chairs even though they sold LOTS of GA Tickets. We as older (70+) ticket holders and handicapped, would not have been able to sit on the grass for 5 hours, so we lost our money, as we could not go. Shame on them! The venue owner told us they had no control over the event organizers no chair rules.
I registered with Eventbrite and paid for a speed dating event with them. The address for it was actually the 7/11. I sent messages asking about the venue for the event and no one responded. There was not any info given for a contact person to call. Simply put they took my money and I got absolutely nothing from it. I will never sign up for anything with them again. Rip off alert.
0/10 stars since I don't get that option. Eventbrite is pure garbage and has been that way possibly since it's very inception. Btw Eventbrite, what is a woman? Bet you don't know either
We arrived at 8pm to Paramount Studios with tickets for a Food Bowl that cost $200 apiece and it was awful! The line to get in was over a block long and we waited a half hour before we eventually passed through the main gate. We walked at least a quarter to a half mile past vast amounts of security to find an overcrowded venue inside the studio. We spoke with others as we waited in more long lines for food. Some said they paid $60 less than we had because Eventbrite took $60 off the original price of the ticket in order to sell more tickets a week before the event. The result was an overcrowded throng that had barely enough room to squeeze past from one food vendor to the next. The lines for each food vendor were so long that you had to wait about 20 minutes for a single tiny teaspoon size scrap of food. And the lines for booze were twice that long! They gave us tastes of champagne in little tablespoon. 05 oz pill cups! I would only expect crowds like this all squeezed together at Disneyland on the Fourth of July. The only thing that kept us there was the $200 ticket price that we would have gladly traded in for a refund had we known what we were in store for that night. Everyone we spoke with there told us it was their first time to the event and they weren't likely to do it again under the circumstances. It was a total rip off. Eventbrite should be required to refund all those they scammed. I will never trust them again. GREEDY!
I had a horrible experience with Eventbrite. My event was postponed and I received multiple emails saying that I could request a refund but it was impossible to do so. Eventbrite would not let me request a refund on their site since the event was not cancelled and when I would try to contact the organizer I would hear nothing back. I eventually tried chatting with Eventbrite on Facebook where the agents were extremely unhelpful. The first agent copied and pasted all of the things I had been trying to do for weeks. When I responded that they could do more to assist they said sorry that they could not help and closed my ticket out. I reopened it and asked them to contact the organizer on my behalf which they half heartedly said that they did. There has to be a more efficient way for Eventbrite to communicate with the event organizer and improve their non existent customer service. Eventbrite is a joke and I strongly recommend that you do not use them as you are on your own. They are the most disgusting company and the worst and most frustrating experience that I ever have had the misfortune to work with.
Company rejects idea of freedom of speech. Awful culture. Will be glad to see this company keep making a fool of themselves
EventBrite has been consistently denying conservative organizations from promoting their programs. Specifically, Daily Wire and Matt Walsh have been denied the ability to screen their documentary, "What is a Woman." EventBrite provided no justifiable reason for banning the documentary. So, EventBrite should simply be hit in the wallet. We should boycott them and take our business elsewhere. Virtue signaling needs to be penalized. Once EventBrite discovers the financial impact of its bad decisions, then perhaps it will become an honest service provider.
This is what I received in my company inbox.
This saddens me! I'm a nonprofit that helps children and families affected by cancer and other disabilities. I followed the rules as far as I can tell.

This company is beyond awful. If i could give them 0 stars i would. They never made it clear my child could not attend an event, then when i showed up i was refused entry. I was told by staff at the front entrance the only way to get a refund is to contact Eventbrite directly. It is impossible to reach them by phone as there is no number. The best i could do was request a refund through their website. No one contacted me back as i requested. Days later the refund was denied. I sent multiple follow-up emails asking for someone to speak with me on the phone in real time and no one responded. This has been my experience and everyone elses that i know. They take your money, make it impossible to contact them about a refund, then ignore you. Do not ever use this company as i never will again.
I have registered for several virtual job fairs only to be left "shut out" because Eventbright does not follow through in sending the information on how to enter the event. What's worse, there is no human contact support available for issues. Additionally, email requests for support are ignored. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with such an unprofessional service provider. I had to rate it with a 1 because there was nothing lower given as an option.
I knew this company is garbage, when I tried to attend an event organized by the city. The registration form asked for SOOOOO MUCH INFORMATION, that not only I refused to provide, but it actually made me angry to see the nerve they have to even ASK.
No wonder identity fraud in America is a huge business.
How cities use this company to put people's information at such high risk, I don't understand.
Oh, wait... city officials are yet another set of criminals, against the people, while barking otherwise, when they steal your votes.
Very stupid and difficult registration process. Something that should take a few minutes, took forever!
I tried to register for an event, and the Eventbrite website keeps covering the boxes they are asking me to fill out - mandatory information -, so I type in, without seeing the text box.
To make things worse, as I type in, the text or numbers get all switched from front to back. WTF is that?!
Some information already entered, is asked to be entered again, and it also gets erased.
It is very frustrating and stupid!
And, they put a timer on you, when they also block your screen, so you take forever BECAUSE OF THEM!
What is the timer for, EventStupd? To see how much you can stretch someone's anger?
Their stupid website provides prefilled questions, which don't help.
Their contact email is not an email for you to contact them, but, it takes you to pre-set questions, also not helpful.
I don't know why so many people use this idiotic company, including government events. Idiots!
If an organiser has only listed their event with Eventbrite then the customer doesn't really have a choice whether to use it or not. I used to think it was excellent, until something went wrong and I realised Eventbrite don't have any helpful customer service! A company not having any contact telephone number or online chat is a major red flag nowadays.
My experience…. An event organiser failed to provide a service, so I requested a refund on the platform.
The event organiser replied stating they weren't able to issue a refund via Eventbrite due to system restrictions, so I contacted Eventbrite's 'support' to ask for help.
Eventbrite sent me this "We reviewed your request and are not able to issue a refund at this time as the event in question does not appear to be cancelled."
They offer no solution. The event organiser has taken my money, not provided the service, and Eventbrite refuse to help.
If there is an alternative to Eventbrite, I would use it.
I bought a New Years ticket and was planning to go but then the mandates for vivid came back so I was told I would get a full refund back. It's been over 6 months now and still haven't gotten back my full refund from Reza the organizer. Extremely disappointed. Don't use eventbrite!
I purchased a ticket for the Will Downing Concert in Malibu. Will Downing never showed. The condition of the area that we were in were unacceptable. Gravel parking lot is where the concert was. I would like a refund of my money. No explanation was given why he wasn't performing. The person announced they are kicking us out of here.
Husband retired today got to the venue no one was the tickets were deceiving stating October 1 …. No update email nothing July 22 was the schedule show …. When I called recording said due to act of God (no storm nothing!) they have rescheduled October 1 but still are unsure of a venue! 1st and last time very disappointed! DON'T WAS YOUR MONEY…..
Answer: The organizer is no longer available when you send it
