Overally the rental experience was good. Only thing I haven't experienced in any other rental companies, was the out of office return fee. In other companies returning the car is just the key inside the box and off I go. I understand the company representative had to come to the office for that but it seems a bit unnecessary. This was just a bonus that the representative gave us a transfer from the office to the airport.
No queue at the European desk. Friendly and efficient process. Difficulty in finding the European car parking area. Was not told to find the representative in the car park, to do the car check. Fortunately he found us before we drove out. Great car.
Disapointing:
- requested car (Jeep renegade) not deliverd. Instead Toyota Hybrid not as good
- additional insurance at a disproportionnate price compared to the renting one (286€ vs 540€)
I will never use Europcar again
The reseptiin was fast and pleasant. Car details were explained clearly. Informaation and documents on email is a good practise.
On the airport there is no sign of "EuropCar" so we did not know where to look for the shuttle bus. Finally we found it by chance but it took us some effort and time.

Very good experience. There's no Europcar office at the airport but they were waiting for us and drove us to the office which is only 2 minutes from the airport.
First of all, it is difficult to find the Shuttle from the airport. Then, the VIP elite privilege status is not taken into account. We are waiting and given a very basic car for the price. I am disappointed with this europcar agency

I arrived too late for my car - unavoidable airline delays - and my rental was cancelled - However the staff pivoted and provided a very good alternative - so great experience.

Das gemieteten PKW habe ich ohne Probleme bekommen, der Flughafen Transfer zur Autovermietung hat auch gut funktioniert.
I could not insure the deductible franchise with Europcar. Big mess to insure with other company the franchise.
Europcar should change the system.

I received the car with the tank half full and returned the car with even more petrol. No money was returned. The tank should be completely full at pickup time, as all other companies do.
