Very efficient service! Picked us up from the airport and drove us to HQ in order for us to get our car. The only thing that could be better is to communicate_where_ at Athens Airport the pickup spot is since Europcar doesn't have any office/desk at the airport. That could be communicated better.

Consider your questions about the security deposit, the request for release of the guarantee is made upon the return of the car. As a company in all our rentals a security deposit will be blocked on the credit card plus the estimated cost of the rental will be charged at the time of pickup. The deposit that will be blocked on the credit card will be released by the cardholder's bank, upon notification after the vehicle returns. The estimated time of released is always depends of bank the customer use.

We were spending more than an hour finding the europcar shuttle. It is not well signed and was not good communicated from the vendor ADAC Mietwagen.

Good experience for the car. We did well to choose a small model for the narrow streets of Mykonos and parking! The price of the rent was very correct.
On the other hand, we had a lot of trouble finding the agency that is not represented at the airport (this fact is not reported on the internet), nothing indicates where it is (no one seems to know) and does not appear on the GPS coordinates (difficulties in returning the car). Fortunately, the charming and dedicated staff helped us, picking us up at the airport and allowing us to return the vehicle to the airport.
