I can appreciate the level of detail John put into his answer. However, its not at all what I was looking for. I just replaced my rear lights with led. New light was red, white and black. What wires would hook up to what colors on a 4 pin? Johns reply should have been this simple: white is ground, red to brown, Black to green. Running lights to brown. Left side yellow to red. How easy was that.
All the wiring was checked. The mechanic checked the wiring to module of the truck and found that the red was broke. We hooked up the trailer to the truck and everything was perfect. Thank you for you time in answer my question.

Purchased a few items from etrailer unfortunately one of them was damage in shipping in order to get the replacement it taken me 3 day and a lot of pictures and a whole lot of hassle from the return service i had to talk to 4 different people before i got this whole hassle resolved deserves no stars will not buy anything from then again i will pay more money somewhere else
I ordered a hitch from etrailer for a trip I had coming up in 2 weeks. Around the time it was "supposed" to arrive, I received an email saying that the hitch was not in stock and will take a few week for the shipment to come in. Which would be to late for my camping trip. I told them the one I order said "in stock" on their website. They offered to send another hitch, the same price to me but if I wanted to rushed I would have to pay the shipping. This is crazy! The least this company can do is ship the new item asap without trying to charge me extra to make up for their website's wrong advertisement. I told them to cancel my order. I will not use this company ever again.

I recently purchased a 2018 Toyota 4Runner and wanted to add the Westin Lighted Running Boards. The description of the product listed the custom installation kit was not included and I could not find the custom installation kit on the eTrailer website, so I asked the question to the eTrailer experts. I received a quick response from Kyle S. That was very detailed and included the part number for the kit I need for the installation. I appreciate the help from Kyle and I ordered the running boards and installation kit on 7/3/18. I am looking forward to receiving them and putting them on our 4Runner. I will definitely post again once I receive the items and after I have installed the running boards. I have ordered from eTrailer in the past and I have never had to make a return or received the wrong parts, so Im sure this order will be accurate and delivered quickly.
