To my pleasant surprise the rack was all put together when it came. I just had to attach it to the tongue and hitch. What a difference from the last bike rack I bought that came in many ill-fitted pieces that took a day to assemble.
I ordered the brake control unit in plenty of time to have it here before we left for vacation but it didn't ship out for nearly a week. I guess some sort of warehouse move was in progress which delayed shipping. I ended up robbing a controller from another one of my vehicles so good ending to the story. Otherwise a good experience as always.
