I installed the Curt hitch yesterday on my 2023 Dodge Challenger GT AWD. The instructions included were excellent in showing how to lower the exhaust system and the included bolt/backing plate fishing wire system worked like a charm.

But there two (2) things that made the job very hard and I feel these should have been addressed in your directions or website videos. The first was when I lowered the exhaust system, the mufflers were hanging up on the exhaust shrouds in the lower fender skirt. The easiest solution would be to remove the lower fender skirt, but I couldn't find any information on how to do that. I ended up removing the two (2) nuts holding the fender skirt on the bottom and having my son pull the fender out enough so the muffler tips cleared the shrouds. It worked but I was afraid of damaging/tearing the skirt.

The second issue, which I feel falls on your engineering, the rear most carriage bolt on the passenger side was too long. The rubber exhaust mount hit it and you couldn't reattach the second muffler bolt. So I had lower the whole exhaust system again (including pulling the fender skirt out) and cut off the bolt just above the nut. After that, the rubber exhaust mount cleared the bolt and I could reinstall the muffler bolt.

So either you should clearly call out cutting that bolt flush after mounting or an easier solution would be to provide a shorter bolt in that location.
