Would be nice to have a matching lighter weight receiver to go with it. The one I got at a local store is really heavy duty for a 2000 lb max load.

It was great to be able to talks to ppl at etrailer, to figure out parts I need for my 5th wheel suspension. They help with informing me where and what I need to measure to order the correct parts. Once I got the parts ordered one half of what I ordered showed up pretty quick and was happy to get it but the other part was delayed for almost a week and a half. Tho I don't think it was do to etrailer.

I ordered the Curt class 4 receiver hitch for my 2006 Chevy Silverado as well as a four and seven pin combo trailer light plug. Both items arrived three days after I placed the order which is pretty decent for it being free shipping. The hitch came with very good quality hardware and everything that was needed to install it. Got it installed in about a half hour by myself, used two strong stretch cords to hold one side up while starting the bolts in the other side. Everything lined up perfectly, no interference with the spare tire and it looks really good. Had to drill two pilot holes in the underside of the factory bumper to use self tapping screws to attach the trailer light plug. The round factory connector plugs directly into the back of it. Lights all work great and overall a pretty easy install. I would recommend having a large torque wrench since the receiver bolts have to be torqued to around 130 ft lbs.

Everything arrived as it should, I installed the trailer hitch with the help of etrailer's YouTube guide, and it went off without a hitch (pun intended). Good price, good guidance, and good experience overall.

Glad etrailer carries old school hard-to-find parts! There has to be a market for this!
